Sled Base
1. Attach seat to back
Lay the chair back on the floor. Take care to ensure
that the back will not be scratched or cut. Align j-bar
with bottom of seat.

2. Attach arms to seat/back assembly
Align arms to chair (2a) and make sure
that the arms are positioned over the hubs
(2b). Attach the arms using four (4)
2-3/16" long pan head screws (2c).
To avoid cross threading, start all
four (4) screws by hand before
tightening, making sure that the screws
are not going in the holes on an angle (2d).

PAY ATTENTION TO ARM ASSEMBLY (STEP 2)

3. Locate the four (4) holes on the chair seat (3a) and
attach using four (4) 1-1/16" long hex head bolts.
Push decorative cover over screw heads (3b).
NOTE: After j-bar screws are tightened. Ensure
all arm screws are still tight.

Go to step 4 for caster base.
Go to step 8 for sled base.

4. Insert cylinder into base
With base resting on floor, insert
cylinder as shown.
6. Place cover over the
cylinder in base.
5. Assemble cylinder cover
Slide cover (A) up through cover (B)
(see fig 1). With cover (A) engaged
with cover (B), slide cover (C) down
over covers (A and B) (see fig 2).
Refer to fig. 3 for completed assembly.

7. Attach seat assembly to cylinder
Line up hole over cylinder, and place seat down.
Grab the seat and firmly push the entire chair
towards the floor to properly lock the tapers on the
cylinder into the seat and the base.

8. Attaching the sled base to the seat assembly
Line up holes in sled base with holes on bottom of seat.
Attach using four (4) 1-1/16" long hex head bolts.
