Every part needed to construct your shed is included inside the pack; cedar
panels, doors, windows, hardware kits & roof sheeting. Please ensure you fully
unpack all the parts & check against the parts checklist before contacting
customer service about anything you believe may be missing. Thank-you!

Caution
Please be careful when handling all components, some parts have sharp metal edges.
Always wear work gloves, eye protection and long sleeves when assembling or maintaining
your shed.

•Circular/power saw (if rebated or
heavy duty floor was chosen)

•Batten screw drive
Before assembly
•Before proceeding with installation, we recommend viewing the Cedar Shed video at
www.stilla.com.au/installation/ or search Stilla Classic Cedar Sheds on Youtube. This doesn’t
show the installation in detail however it could give you some handy tips. Please note we
haven’t videoed the assembly of each shed however the video online is the Maple 12x6 and
will give you an overall idea on how the installation process is completed.
•Remove all parts from packages and place in a safe place close to assembly area.
•Review all instructions; continue to refer to instructions throughout assembly –step
by step.
Preparing your site
•If you are installing your shed on the Stilla rebated floor we recommend finding a
place in your yard that is very close to level. Pavers or a solid material that will not be
affected by weather can be used to perfectly level the shed by placing under the
floor frame where required, make sure all members are supported.
•If you are installing your shed on the Stilla heavy duty floor, this can be placed on
unlevelled surfaces and levelled up by using the 100x100 stumps provided.

Fasten through EP into DJ using 3 x 100BS per join (75N on Rebated Floor)
Fasten through EP into SJ using 2 x 100BS per join (75N on Rebated Floor)
Fasten FN’s in positions shown below using 65HHS
HEAVY DUTY FLOOR KIT
Heavy duty floor can be installed on unlevelled ground –use supplied logs to level your floor
by digging them into the ground.
Install heavy duty floor kit using (L) 4 logs –1 in each corner (position shown above) screw
through frame into log using 4 x 100BS per corner
Ensure floor frame is square by measuring from corner to corner diagonally prior to
installing flooring.

Lay both gable pairs on a flat surface with frame upwards. Hold flush at the bottom and
screw together using 2 x 65HHS in centre stud. (Image 1)
Turn one gable over. Position (SCS) Stilla branded cover strip flush with bottom cedar board
and flush on each end. Nail through cover strip into gable using 40N. (Image 2)
Position (FGS) front gable cover strip over join in front gable. Fasten in position using 40N.

Hold DH (Door head) Perfectly centre of base plate on gable, screw down through gable
bottom plate into door head using 2 x 65HHS

Carefully position front gable in position ensuring tongue on wall goes into groove on gable.
Fasten up through front panels using 2 x 65HHS either side. Repeat with back gable using 1 x

Lay roof frame on a hard surface. Position roof sheets (RS) flush at top and flush with end of
roof battens. Fasten roof sheets to roof frame in number sequence shown using 25RS into
top batten (TB) & 40RS into bottom batten (BB).
Note: only screw in Pan at top and in rib at bottom.

Slide one roof panel into position. Ensure roof rafters are flush with gables on the inside.
Top batten of roof frame is to be in line with gable peak. Fasten through gables into top
batten on roof. Fasten up through side wall top plates at each end and centre. Ensure walls
run parallel with bottom batten (BB) on roof. (Repeat this step for both roof panels)

Place door on back and hold hinge (H) in position. Fasten hinges to door using 3 x hinge
screws (HS) per hinge.
Position: Hinges are to be placed at top and bottom of door. They are to be centralised over
bracing on back of door (as per second and third image below)
