TheTEKTRONIX2465Band2467BOscilloscopesare
portable400-MHzbandwidthinstrumentshavingfour-
channelverticaldeflectionsystems.Channel1 andChan-
nel2 providecalibrateddeflectionfactorsfrom2 mVper
divisionto5 V perdivision.Foreachofthesechannels,
inputimpedanceisselectablebetweentwovalues:either
1MQinparallelwith15pF,or50Q internaltermination.
Input-signalcouplingwith1 Mfiimpedancecanbeselected
aseitherACorDC.Channel3 andChannel4 have
deflectionfactorsofeither0.1V or0.5V perdivision.
Eachofthesechannelshasaninputimpedanceof 1 Mfiin
parallelwith15pF,withDCinput-signalcoupling.
Thetriggersystemworksautomaticallyformost sig-
nals. Theyoperate invariousmodes,fromanychannel,
withcouplingsfora widerangeofsignals.Thetrigger
systemgivesstabledisplaysfromdcto500MHz.
Thehorizontaldeflectionsystemprovidescalibrated
sweepspeedsfrom1.5s perdivisionto500psper divi-
sion, includingtheeffectsoftheX10magnifierandthe
calibratedvariablebetweenthe1-2-5steps.Horizontal
displaysincludeA-Sweep,B-Sweep(delayed),A alternated
withB,andCH1 (forX/Ydisplays).
TheAUTO,SAVE,andRECALLfeaturessavetimeand
preventerrors.PressingtheAUTOSetupbuttongivesa
workablesetupforalmostanysignal.Forrepetitivemea-
surements,theSaveandRecallfunctionsrecordand
immediatelyorsequentiallyrestoreasmanyas30instru-
mentsetups.TheSETUPbuttonsoperate allinstrument
functions,includingtheextendedfunctionoptions.
Direct,on-screenreadoutsoftimemeasurements,volt-
agemeasurements,scalefactors,triggerlevels,and
auxiliaryinformationalsosavetimeandimproveoperator
confidence.
The2467Byields4 divisions/nsvisualwritingrate.This
isabout100timesfasterthanconventional, high-
performanceoscilloscopes.The2467B visiblydisplaysany
signal, atanyrepetition-rate,atanysweepspeed,in typi-
calroomlight.Visiblesingle-shotsinclude1 nsstepsat
500ps/division.
