thecarrierframetubeandsecurewithabolt(5/16x
2-1/4inch)andangenut(5/16inch)positioningas
showninFigure5.
Note:Theboltmustbethreadedthroughthefarwall
ofthetube.
7.Inserttheleftbasketbracketwithbracketassembly
ontotheleftendofthecuttingunitcarrierframetube
(Figure5).
Note:Thecarriageboltsandangeboltsareshipped
installedinthemiddlepositiononthebracketassembly
toeasenaladjustmentlater.
8.Aligntheholesinthebasketbracketwiththeholein

Makesurethatthefrontbasketsareparalleltothecutting
unitswithaminimumclearanceof6mm(0.250inch)
betweenthelipofthebasketandthereel.Ifanadjustmentto
thebasketpositionisrequired,proceedasfollows:
•Oneachendofthebasket,loosenthecarriageboltnuts
securingthebasketstopbracketstothebasket(Figure15).
•Positionthebasketsoitisparalleltothecuttingunitwith
aminimumclearanceof6mm(0.250inch)betweenthe
lipofthebasketandthereel(Figure15).
•Oneachendofthebasket,adjustthebasketstopbrackets
sotheyeachcontactasideplate.
•Tightenthecarriageboltnutstosecurethebasket
position.

Whentherearbasketisinstalledonthecuttingunit,thegrass
basketshouldbeslightlyraisedintherear.
Whenthecuttingunitisraised,therollerbumpershould
alwayscontactthewearstriponthetopshieldofthegrass
basket(Figure16).
1.Wheninstallingtherearcentercuttingunit,ensurethat
thespacerontheliftarmpinisinstalledbehindthe
cuttingunitcarrierframeasshowninFigure16.
