The Reset button serves two funct  ons for the UF-LOCO:
Restart Press and release the Reset button qu  ckly. The three s  gnal LEDs w  ll
ash amber.
Restore to Factory Default Sett  ngs Press and hold the Reset button for more
than f  ve seconds.
SC/APC GPON port supports WAN connect  ons of 2.488 Gbps downstream and
1.244 Gbps upstream.
The M  cro-USB Power Adapter connects to th  s port to prov  de power.
RJ45 Ethernet LAN port supports a 10/100/1000 Mbps connect  on and pass  ve 24V
PoE to power the dev  ce.

WARNING: Unt  l ready for use, keep modules and f  ber patch cables covered
us  ng the  ncluded protect  ve caps to ensure the connect  ons stay clean.
WARNING: DO NOT connect the dev  ce d  rectly to a UF  ber GPON module (UF-
GP-B+ or UF-GP-C+). Do  ng so w  ll damage the dev  ce opt  cs. Ensure that the
dev  ce’s rece  ved s  gnal level never exceeds -8 dBm. Use a UF  ber PLC Spl  tter to
add attenuat  on as needed.

Access  ng the Conf  gurat  on Interface
1. Ensure that your computer (or other host system)  s connected to the dev  ce.
2. Conf  gure the Ethernet adapter on your host system w  th a stat  c IP address on the
192.168.1.x subnet.
3. Launch your web browser. Type http://192.168.1.1  n the address f  eld. Press enter
(PC) or return (Mac).
4. Enter ubnt  n the Username and Password f  elds. Cl  ck Log  n.

The dev  ce  s compat  ble w  th most major brands of OLT (Opt  cal L  ne Term  nal) and
offers four compat  b  l  ty prof  les. By default the dev  ce  s set to Prof  le 1 - Ub  qu  t 
UF  ber OLT. For other brands, manually select Prof  le 2, 3, or 4.
1. Log  nto the UF  ber Conf  gurat  on Interface.
2. Go to Sett  ngs .
3. On the Network screen, cl  ck the System tab.
4. Select the appropr  ate prof  le from the OLT Prof  le drop-down menu:
