WINDING THE MOVEMENT
Unscrew the crown to position A and turn it clockwise to wind
the movement. When the movement has been stopped for a
long period, 20 turns of the crown will wind it to provide suf-
cient accuracy.
The automatic winding mechanism does not function when
you are not wearing your watch, and the movement stops after
about 48 hours.

DATE SETTING
Pull the crown into position B. Set the date forwards to the
required date. The correct date will be displayed on date
window. Then push the crown and screw down to position N to
guarantee full water-resistance.
TIME SETTING
Pull the crown to position C and adjust to the required hour
and minute. When corrections and adjustments are complete,
push the crown and screw down to position N to guarantee full
water-resistance.
CHRONOGRAPH FUNCTIONS
Pusher 1 By pressing pusher 1, the chronograph hand is set in
motion.
The register at 3 o’clock records the minutes
(30 minutes), the one at 6 o’clock records the hours
(12 hours). The chronograph hand is stopped by
pressing pusher 1 a second time.
Pusher 2 Pressing pusher 2 returns the chronograph and
registers hands to zero.

PRECISION
Precision and average daily rate depend on the activity of the
person wearing the instrument. Magnetic elds (computers,
mobile phones, etc.) may inuence the working of a watch. Vio-
lent shocks or knocks - quite common in tennis or golf - should
be avoided to prevent shaking that may loosen certain parts.
MAINTENANCE
All mechanical timepieces should have their movements
cleaned and the oil replaced every 3-5 years. The life span of any
mechanical timepiece will primarily depend upon both daily
care and the recommended routine maintenance. We strongly
encourage you to have your timepiece serviced only at ocial-
ly authorized Ulysse Nardin Customer Service departments. For

A Remontage du mouvement : dévisser la couronne
et la tourner dans le sens horaire. Si la montre est
arrêtée, environ 20 tours de couronne susent
pour donner un remontage nécessaire au fonc-

Dévisser la couronne en position A et la tourner dans le sens
horaire pour remonter le mouvement. Lorsque le mouvement
est arrêté, 20 tours de couronne lui donneront le remontage

RÉGLAGE DE LA DATE
Tirer la couronne en position B. Régler la date en avant. Lorsque
la date achée dans le guichet de date est correcte, revisser la
couronne en position N pour garantir une parfaite étanchéité.
RÉGLAGE DE L’HEURE
Tirer la couronne en position C et ajuster les aiguilles à l’heure
désirée. Lorsque le réglage a été fait, revisser la couronne en
position N pour garantir une parfaite étanchéité.
FONCTIONS CHRONOGRAPHE
Poussoir 1 En pressant le poussoir 1, l’aiguille du chronographe se
met en action. Le compteur situé à 3h enregistre les
minutes (30 minutes). Celui à 6h enregistre les heures
(12 heures). L’aiguille du chronographe s’arrête en pres-
sant une deuxième fois sur le poussoir 1.
Poussoir 2 Presser le poussoir 2 pour mettre toutes les fonc-
tions chronographe à zéro.

PRÉCISION
A noter que la bonne marche et la précision d’une montre
dépendent de la personne qui la porte et de son activité. Les
champs magnétiques (ordinateurs, téléphones portables, etc.)
peuvent inuencer sa marche. Les activités, telles que tennis,
golf ou toute autre qui provoqueraient des chocs violents sont
à proscrire.
ENTRETIEN
Il est recommandé d’eectuer une révision du mouvement
tous les 3 à 5 ans. La longévité de votre instrument dépend
du soin et de l’entretien apporté. La qualité du service après

WERKAUFZUG
Die Krone in Position A ziehen und im Uhrzeigersinn drehen
um das Werk aufzuziehen. Wurde die Uhr während längerer
Zeit nicht getragen, werden für den vollen Aufzug etwa 20 Um-
drehungen der Krone benötigt.
Der automatische Aufzugsmechanismus funktioniert nicht,
wenn die Uhr nicht getragen wird. Das Werk stoppt nach ca.
48 Stunden.

DATUMSEINSTELLUNG
Die Krone in Position B ziehen und das gewünschte Datum
vorwärts einstellen. Das korrekte Datum erscheint in der
Datumsanzeige. Danach die Krone drücken und wieder fest
auf Position N verschrauben, um die Wasserdichtigkeit zu ge-
währleisten.
ZEITEINSTELLUNG
Krone in Position C ziehen und gewünschte Zeit einstellen.
Anschließend Krone in Ausgangsposition N zurückbringen.
Krone verschrauben, um Wasserdichtigkeit sicher zu stellen.
CHRONOGRAPHENFUNKTION
Drücker 1 Start der Chronographenzeiger, sowie der Zählzeiger
für Minuten (bei 3 Uhr) und Stunden (bei 6 Uhr). Der
Chronograf lässt sich durch erneute Betätigung des
Drückers 1 anhalten.
Drücker 2 Nullstellung der Chronographenzeiger und der
Zählzeiger.

GENAUIGKEIT
Die Präzisionskomponenten des Uhrwerkes unterliegen physi-
kalisch Einüssen von Temperaturschwankungen, der Ausdeh-
nung der Metalle, dem Gesetz der Schwerkraft, der Alterung
der verwendeten Öle. Die Ganggenauigkeit eines mechani-
schen Werkes wird beeinusst durch die Art und Weise, wie sie
getragen wird (Reibung, Stöße, Erschütterungen). Auch die Ma-
gnetfelder eines Computers, Handys, oder andere Instrumente
können Einuss auf die Genauigkeit haben.
WARTUNG
Ein mechanisches Uhrwerk bedarf der regelmäßigen Wartung.
Wir empfehlen, diese alle 3-5 Jahre ausführen zu lassen. Die-
se Maßnahme verhindert eine übermäßige Abnützung des
Uhrwerks infolge trockener Lager. Kundendienstarbeiten aus-
schließlich durch Ulysse Nardin Service Zentren oder Ulysse

CARGA DEL MOVIMIENTO
Desenroscar la corona en posición A y girarla en el sentido de
las agujas del reloj para cargar el movimiento. Cuando el reloj
esta parado, unas 20 vueltas son sucientes para cargar el reloj
correctamente.

AJUSTE DE LA FECHA
Tirar de la corona en posición B. Ajustar la fecha girando hacia
delante. Cuando la fecha que aparece en el fechador es la fecha
deseada, volver a colocar la corona en posición N para garanti-
zar una perfecta impermeabilidad.
AJUSTE DE LA HORA
Tirar de la corona en posición C y ajustar las agujas hasta la hora
deseada. Volver a colocar la corona en posición N para garanti-
zar una perfecta impermeabilidad.
Atención: El cronógrafo tiene que estar parado y puesto a 0
para ajustar la hora.
FUNCIONES DEL CRONÓGRAFO
Pulsador 1 Accionando el pulsador 1, se pone en marcha la
aguja del cronógrafo. El contador situado a las 3h
registra los minutos (30min). El de las 6h registra
las horas (12h). Para parar el cronógrafo, se pulsa
por segunda vez el pulsador 1.
Pulsador 2 Accionar elpulsador 2 parala puestaa 0detodas las
funciones del cronógrafo.

PRECISIÓN
Hay que resaltar que el buen funcionamiento y la precisión de
un reloj dependen de su propietario y de la actividad que rea-
lice el mismo. Los campos magnéticos (ordenadores, móviles,
etc.) pueden interferir en su funcionamiento. No se deben reali-
zar actividades que puedan provocar choques violentos, como
por ejemplo tenis, golf u otra actividad similar.
MANTENIMIENTO
Al igual que el motor de un coche, se recomienda realizar una
revisión del mecanismo cada 3 o 5 años. La vida útil del reloj
dependerá de los cuidados y del mantenimiento a los que se
le someta. La calidad del servicio posventa desempeñará igual-
