USER INSTRUCTION
Adjusting the number of rings, privacy time and intercommunication:
Number of rings: - To program the number of rings the monitor must be in programming mode. This is achieved by
pressing the two following buttons at the same time – the left button of the volume control and the right button of
the colour intensity control. When the programming mode is entered LED1 starts flashing, this will automatically
reset after 20 seconds of idle time. When in the programming mode press and hold the button, LED1 will stop
flashing and LED2 will start to flash showing the number of rings (each flash = 1 ring, i.e. 6 flashes = 6 rings) once the
required value of rings has been reached, release the button. LED1 will start flashing again to signal that other
programming operations can be performed. After a short period with no further buttons being pressed, programming
mode will end.
Privacy Operation: - Press and hold the button and the button (for approx. 3 seconds) to enable the
privacy function. LED3 next to the button illuminates and the unit emits a beep. To set the privacy duration press
and hold the button, LED 1 will stop flashing and LED 3 will start to flash showing the number of times the
button is pressed (each flash = 15 minutes i.e. 8 flashes = 2 hours). Once the duration has been reached release
the button. Wait approx 10 seconds for LED1 to stop flashing to signal that the new value is stored.
Intercommunication: - Firstly please note that extension 1 is mandatory. One extension in each apartment must
be set as extension 1. To intercommunicate with another device in the same apartment simply press the
button the number of times of the extension to call i.e. to call extension 3 press the button 3 times and wait. To
intercommunicate with another apartment (dip-switch 1 on SW3 only) simply press the button the number
of times of the phone ID to call and wait for an answer.
To open the door press the
button. To end the call press the
button.
An incoming call will be signalled by
an audible tone from the videophone
and the picture will appear (the
picture will only appear on extension
