PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
•Please read and understand the instructions prior to assembly.
Incorrect installation of this product could possibly result in personal
injury or physical damage.
•WallBeds Australia recommends two people to safely assemble and
install the wall bed - It is not recommended you try to install this bed
on your own.
•The wall bed MUST be securely fastened to the wall. Failure to do
so will cause the bed to tip over & may cause damage to the cabinet
or serious personal injury.
•All additional cabintery must be securely fasten to the Wall Bed
cabinet.
•Whilst these products are DIY it is recommended the wall bed be
installed by a qualified trades person if you are not comfortable with
the installation of this product.

Note: If you have two ofthe same cabinet each cabinet will have adifferent cabinet number.
Prior to assembly, separate and group all matching panels numbers.
Panel Stickers/Labels –Do not remove any cabinet stickers from the panels until the
units have been built, as these will assist with assembly. Most of the stickers are placed
on the “back” or underside of the cabinet and will not be seen once assembled.

Cam Locks – Insert all Cam Locks into the following panels asdescribed by the cabinet part

Step 1– Inserting Cupboard and Drawer Cabinetry Hardware

Cam Pins Insert all Cam Locks into the following panels asdescribed bythe cabinet part located
on the cabinet sticker.
End Panel End Panel Drw Bot Bottom Panel Top Panel
NOTE: In the
Bottom Panel Insert
the cam pins on the
opposite side to the
Cam Lock.
Drawer Runners –
Attach the runners prior to assembling the cabinetry.
Line up the holes in the metal runner with the pre-drilled holes inthe End Panel. Attach these
runners using the Euro screws. Do this for both End Panels Refer to images 7 & 8 page 10
DoorHinge Clips–
Attach the Hinge Plates before assembling the cabinetry.
With the arrow indicator on the hinge block facing to the front edge of the panel. Line up the
Hinge Plate with the pre-drilled holes in the End Panel. Fix these by tapping them in gently with
ahammer,then tightening the screws. Refer to image 3 page 9
Drawer Clips –
Insert these into the drawer front ensuring the up & down arrows on the drawer clips are facing
the outside edge of the drawer panel.
Fix these into the drawer front by tapping them in gently with ahammer. Refer to image 11
page 11
NOTE:In the Top
Panel Insert the cam

Cupboard Door Hinges –
Place the cup part of the hinge into the cupboard door panel ensuring that the arm of the
hinge is facing out of the door panel. Once in the position close the hinge flap, this
will secure them into place. There are no screws required to attach these hinges. Refer to
images 4 & 5 page 9 and 10

Step 2 – Cupboard & Drawer Cabinet Assembly
Start the cabinet assembly byusing either one of the cabinet End Panels.
Cabinet Back Panel - Ensuring the cam locks are facing away from the inside. Place the
cabinet back panel onto the side panel. Match upthe cam locks with the cam pins.
Tighten the cam locks and cam pins together byusing a Philips head hand screwdriver.

Cabinet Bottom Panel - With the cam locks facing away from the inside of the cabinet
attach the bottom panel to the end panel and back panel. Refer image 12 page 11
Cabinet Top Panel - With the cam locks facing the inside of the cabinet attach the
bottom panel to the end panel and back panel. - It is essential that the cam locks are
facing the inside of the cabinet.
Cabinet Kick / Rail Panel - With the cam locks facing to the back of the cabinet attach
the kick panel to the end panel.
Place the remaining end panel on top ofthe previously assembled panels. Ensuring the
cam pins are lined up with the cam locks. Tighten the cam pins tothe cam locks.
Drawer Assembly
Note – There are no pre-drilled guide holes on the underside of the drawer bottom
panel for the dome head screws. The dome head screws supplied do notrequire these
holes tobe pre-drilled.
Drawer Back Panel toDrawer Bottom Panel - With the cam locks facing the back attach
the drawer bottom panel to the drawer back panel. Tighten camlocks tocam pins. Refer
image 2 page 9
Metal Drawer sides - Attach the metal drawer sides tothe drawer bottom and drawer
back panels using the dome head screws. Before attaching drawer front, place
assembled drawer into the Cupboard Drawer cabinet. Refer image 1& 2 page 9
Drawer Front – To ensure the drawer front isthe correct way up. Place drawer front on
to the drawer clips - DO NOT PUSH DRAWER FRONT FULLY ONTO THE DRAWER CLIPS.
Gently close the drawer ensuring the top edge of the drawer front will be level with the
top panel of the cabinet. If the drawer front is not level with the top panel, remove it
from the drawer clips and turn the drawer front upthe opposite way.
Double check the drawer front isnowlevel with the cabinet top panel. Once the drawer
front is the correct way up, push the drawer front into the metal sides ofthe drawer until
you hear the drawer click into place on both sides. Tighten the screws on the outside of
the drawer clips using a Phillips head hand screwdriver.

Door Hinge Clips –
Attach the Hinge Plates before assembling the cabinetry.

Step 2 – Cabinet Assembly

Back Panel -Ensuring the cam locks are facing away from the inside. Place the cabinet back
panel onto the side panel. Match up the cam locks with the cam pins. Tighten the cam locks
and cam pins together byusing a Phillips head hand screwdriver.
End Panel - With the cam locks facing away from the inside of the cabinet attach the bottom
panel to the end panel and back panel.
Top Panel - With the cam locks facing the outside of the cabinet attach the bottom panel
to the end panel and back panel. - It is essential that the cam locks are facing the outside of
the cabinet.
Place the remaining end panel on top ofthe previously assembled panels. Ensuring the cam pins
are lined up with the cam locks. Tighten the cam pins to the cam locks.
Note: You may need to lightly tap the cam pins into the cam locks with a rubber mallet. Ensure you
do this where the cam pins are located. Failure to do so may result in damage to the End Panel.
•Place the Cupboard & Drawer unit nexttothe side of the Alpha Wallbed that it will be attached to.
Ensure the front edge of the drawer & cupboard isflush with the front edge of the wall bed
cabinet.
•Place the Cabinet unit on top ofthe Drawer Unit and line up the back edge of the Cabinet with
the back of the Drawer & Cupboard unit. Refer images 13 & 14 page 12
• NOTE: This will leave the End Panel of the cabinet approximately 18mm back from the Front Edge
of the wall bed End Panel. This will allow for the Door Panel to be flush with the wall bed End
Panel.
Step 3 – Placing both Units to the Alpha Wall Bed
Step4– Fitting the Door Hinges into the Door Panel
Cupboard Door Hinges –
Place the cup part of the hinge into the cupboard door panel ensuring that the arm of
the hinge is facing out of the door panel. Once in the position close the hinge flap, this
will secure them into place. There are no screws required to attach these hinges.

Removing Panel Stickers/Labels
To remove once installed, heat up with hair dryer & then to remove any sticky residue
use wax and grease remover or similar.
Avoid using a razor blade as you may damage the cabinetry.

Attaching the Door to the Cabinet - Clip the hinge arm into the hinge block previously attached
to the bookcase.
Attaching the Cabinet to your wall bed - Check that the cabinet door panel is flush with the front
edge of the wall bed End Panel. Using existing shelf pin holes (2 up towards the top and 2 at the
bottom) attach the bookshelf to the side of the bed cabinet by using the 28mm wood screws
supplied.
Caution: Do Not over tighten the wood screws into the side of the wall bed End Panel as it may
end up protruding through the opposite side of the panel.
Adjustable Shelf - Insert the shelf pins into the shelf pin holes at the desired height for your shelf.
Place your shelf on them. If you find it’s too high or too low for the books you want to store, it’s an
easy matter to adjust the shelf by moving the supports to the holes at the required height.
Step5 – Fitting the Door Hinges and Door Panel
Attaching the door handle
Place the handle over the pre-drilled holes in the door panel. Insert the handle screws through
the pre-drilled holes in the door panel and tighten using a Phillips head screw driver.
Attaching the Cupboard & Drawer to the Cabinet - Remove the drawer & screw up through the top
panel of the cupboard drawer unit into the base of the Cabinet using the 28mm screws supplied.
Note: You will have to pre-drill some 5mm screw holes.
Attaching the Cabinet to the WallBed - Using an existing shelf pin hole, fix the Cabinet to the side of
the wall bed cabinet by using the 28mm wood screws supplied.
Step6 – Attaching the Drawer & Cupboard unit to the Cabinet and WallBed
Caution: Do Not over tighten the wood screws into the side of the wall
bed End Panel or bottom of the top cabinet as it may end up protruding
through the opposite side of the panel.
