discarding. Remove all parts from carton and separate into groups as indicated on part list.
Please ensure all parts are included prior to assembly. Use of power tools to complete
assembly is not recommended.

IMPORTANT
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat and
non-abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on pages 5 and 6 of this instruction manuals.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE WIPED
OFF WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert the dowel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet, IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw the Cam Bolt into the threaded inserts on the panel. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam
Bolt goes into the pre-drilled hole on the end of panel for Cam Lock.
2. Insert the Cam Lock into the pre-drilled large hole on the panel. Make sure the arrow on the face of Cam
Lock faces out and points towards Cam Bolt.
3. Take a Phillips screwdriver and rotate the Cam Lock clockwise to lock the Cam Bolt in place.
You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

DIRECTIONS IN ORDER ON THIS INSTRUCTIONS), TO PROVIDE PROTECTION
AGAINST THE UNEXPECTED TIPPING OF FURNITURE DUE TO IMPROPER USE.
THIS PRODUCT IS ONLY A DETERRENT. IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROPER
ADULT SUPERVISION. USE OF TIP-OVER RESTRAINTS MAY ONLY REDUCE,
BUT NOT ELIMINATE, THE RISK OF TIP-OVER.
Children have died from furniture tipover.
To reduce the risk of furniture tipover:
 ALWAYS install tipover restraint provided.
 NEVER put a TV on this product.
 NEVER allow children to stand, climb or hang
on drawers, doors, or shelves.
 NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
 Place heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
Use of tip-over restraints may only reduce,
but not eliminate, the risk of tip-over.

Tools required (not included): Phillips screwdriver, stud finder, pencil, tape measure, power drill and 1/8 in drill bit.

Utility Drawer Assembling
NOTE: Please do not fully tighten all bolts until you finish assembling all parts. Once assembled, go
back and fully tighten all bolts. This will make the assembly easier.
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts. Assemble the unit on a
carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratch.
2. Securely screw four Cam Bolts (3) into the designated small holes on the Drawer Front Panel (I) using a
Phillips screwdriver. DO NOT over tighten the cam bolts.
3. Attach the Utility Drawer Sides (K and L) to the Utility Drawer Front Panel (I) by engaging four Small
Cam Locks (1). (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).

4. Slide the Utility Drawer Bottom Panel (M) into the grooves on the Utility Drawer Sides (K and L) until
fully inserted into the Utility Drawer Front Panel (I).
5. Fasten the Utility Drawer Back Panel (J) between the Utility Drawer Sides (K and L) with four 38 mm
Screws (6). Make sure that the Drawer Bottom Panel (M) fits securely into the groove on the Drawer
Back Panels (J and K). Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

6. Using the pilot holes as a guide, fasten the Left Slide Runner (DL) to the Utility Drawer Left Side (K) using
three 12 mm Flat Head Screws (7). Make sure that the roller end of slide runner faces backward.
7. Repeat the same procedure to attach the Right Slide Runner (DR) to the Utility Drawer Right Side (L).
8. Turn the assembled utility drawer upright and attach one Handle with Metal Plates (11) to the front side
of the Utility Drawer Front Panel (I) with two 28 mm Bolts (10).

9. Pick up the 14” Ball Bearing Slides (V) and separate the slide runners for the following step.
10. Extend the slide runners all the way forward. Press the plastic release lever of the ball bearing slides up
and pull the slide runners complete out.
11. Using the pilot holes as a guide, align and attach the separated slide runners to the File Drawer Sides (P
and Q) respectively with three 12 mm Pan Head Screws (8) per slide runner.
