IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The electric water kettle must only be plugged
into 220-240 volt outlets in wall.
• The kettle becomes warm during use and
should be held by handle only.
• The kettle must not be placed near open
flame or other heat source such as stove top,
fireplace, etc.
• Fill water only up to the “MAX” level as
indicated on the kettle.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be
ejected.
• The kettle needs to be used with the attached
power base. The power base cannot be used
for other purposes.
• Place the water kettle on a dry and smooth
surface to prevent sliding.
• Remember! Do not turn the kettle on until
water has been added.
• Never add any other liquids than water.
• Remember! The lid must always be on during
heating.

• Do not pull the cord when attempting to
unplug the kettle. Hold the plug.
• Never leave the cord hanging from a table or
other storage area.
• Always unplug the kettle after use and during
cleaning.
• Never immerse the kettle or the base in water
or other liquid during cleaning.
• Do not use the kettle outdoors.
• If the kettle is used for other purpose than that
recommended, or is used in a way that conflicts
with the user guide, the user carries the full
responsibility for possible damage that can
occur.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
• Is there damage to the device or that it
does not work, it must be serviced only by
authorized personnel.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance in a safe way and if they understand
the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years.
• Appliance can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• This product is intended for private household
use and not for commercial use.

USER DIRECTIONS
During rst time use, pour out the rst batch of boiling water to dispose of dust
and other impurities.
1. Fill water through the designated opening
2. Never ll less than 0.5 litre of water to avoid boiling dry. Also, never ll more
than MAX of water.
3. Close the lid.
4. Unplug the kettle from the wall outlet.
5. Push the power switch.
6. The lamp will light when the kettle is switched on.
7. When the water starts boiling, the safety feature automatically turns the kettle
off.
8. Remember! If the kettle is lifted off its base, it will automatically shut off, and
the boiling will stop. It can be restarted after 30 seconds by pushing in the
power switch.
9. Lift the pot from its base before attempting to pour from it.
10. Unplug the heater from the outlet and let the pot cool off before moving it.
11. Remember! If you wish to interrupt the boiling process, simply set the pow-
er switch to zero.
CLEANING
1. Unplug the kettle.
2. Do not immerse the base and kettle in water or any other liquids.
3. If the pot is dirty, use a mild cleaning agent.
4. Do not use any sharp objects.
Damage caused by calcium deposits is not covered by warranty.
DESCALING
• Fill the kettle with 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water and boil or allow it to
stand overnight.
• Empty solution from kettle and ll kettle with clean water and boil.
• Discard the boiled water as it might contain remains of vinegar
• Rinse kettle with clean water.
We recommend descaling to be done regularly, it should be done with the
following intervals;
• Water with low content of lime: every 3-4 months
• Water with medium content of lime: every 4-6 week
• Water with high content of lime: every 2-4 week

GUARANTEE
Wilfa issues a 5 year guarantee on this product from the day of purchase is
done. The guarantee covers production failure or defects that arise during
the guarantee period. Your purchase receipt works as proof towards retailer if
claiming your guarantee.
The guarantee is valid only for products that are bought and used in private
households. The guarantee is not valid if the product is used commercially.
The guarantee is not valid if the product is misused, used by negligence, if not
following instructions given by Wilfa, if modied or if unauthorized reparation
is done. The guarantee is also not valid for normal wear of the product, misuse,
lack of maintenance, use of wrong electrical voltage or:
• Not descaled according to instruction manual
• Overloading of product

VIKTIGE FORHOLDSREGLER
• Vannkokeren skal kun kobles til uttak i vegg med
220-240 volt spenning.
• Under bruk blir vannkokeren varm og bør holdes
kun i hanken.
• Vannkokeren må ikke plasseres i nærheten
av åpen amme eller annen varmekilde (peis,
kokeplate o.l.).
• Plasser vannkokeren på en tørr og jevn ate slik
at den ikke kan gli.
• OBS! Ikke slå på vannkokeren uten først å fylle
på vann.
• Vannkokeren må ikke fylles med andre væsker
enn vann
• OBS! Lokket skal alltid være på under
oppkoking.
• Legg aldri vannkokeren eller sokkelen i vann eller
annen væske for rengjøring.
• Fyll vann maksimalt opp til “MAX” markeringen

kokende vann ut av den.
• Vannkokeren må alltid brukes sammen med
strømsokkelen. Strømsokkelen skal ikke brukes til
andre formål.
• Ikke bruk vannkokeren utendørs.
• Hvis vannkokeren brukes til andre formål
enn anbefalt, eller blir feilbrukt i henhold til
bruksanvisningen, har brukeren selv ansvaret for
eventuelle skader som oppstår.
• Dra ikke i ledningen når du skal koble fra
vannkokeren. Hold i stikkontakten.
• La aldri ledningen henge løst fra et bord eller
annen oppbevaringsplass.
• Ta alltid ut støpslet fra stikkontakten etter bruk
og ved rengjøring av vannkokeren.
• Hvis strømledningen er skadet, må den skiftes av
produsenten, produsentens servicerepresentant
eller en tilsvarende kvalisert person for å unngå
fare.

BRUK
Ved første gangs bruk, hell ut første kokevannet for å skylle bort eventuelt støv
og urenheter.
1. Ta av lokket og fyll vann før vannkokeren settes på sokkelen. Fyll aldri på
mindre enn 0,5 liter vann for å unngå tørrkoking. Fyll heller aldri på mer enn
MAX.
2. Sett på lokket.
3. Koble støpslet til stikkontakten i veggen.
4. Trykk ned strømbryteren
5. Lampene i bryteren vil lyse når vannkokeren er på.
6. Når vannet koker sørger sikkerhetsbryteren automatisk for at vannkokeren
blir slått av.
7. OBS! Hvis vannkokeren løftes bort fra sokkelen, slås denne automatisk av,
og kokingen stopper. Vannkokeren kan startes igjen etter 30 sekunder ved å
trykke inn strømbryteren igjen.
8. Løft kannen fra sokkelen før du heller fra kannen.
9. Koble ut støpslet fra stikkontakten og la kannen kjølne før den yttes.
10. OBS! Hvis du vil avbryte kokingen, sett bare strømbryteren på 0.
RENGJØRING
1. Ta ut stikkontakten.
2. Sokkelen og vannkokeren må ikke legges i vann eller andre væsker.
3. Bruk et mildt rengjøringsmiddel hvis kannen er skitten.
4. OBS! Ikke bruk spisse gjenstander.
Forkalkning dekkes ikke av garantien.
AVKALKNING
Wilfa anbefaler at vannkokeren avkalkes med jevne mellomrom. Bruk et
innkjøpt avkalkningsmiddel og følg bruksanvsingen nøye eller:
1. Fyll kannen med 1/3 eddik og 2/3 vann og kok opp som vanlig.
2. La eddik og vann stå i kannen natten over og hell ut neste dag.
3. Fyll kannen med rent vann og kok opp.
4. Hell det kokte vannet ut, siden det kan inneholde resten av eddik.
5. Skyll kannen med vann.

GARANTI
Wilfa gir 5 års garanti på dette produktet fra kjøpsdatoen. Garantien dekker
produksjonsfeil eller defekter som oppstår i garantiperioden. Kjøpskvitteringen
fungerer som bevis overfor forhandleren ved eventuelle garantikrav.
Garantien er kun gyldig for produkter som er kjøpt og brukt i privathusholdning.
Garantien gjelder ikke hvis produktet brukes kommersielt. Garantien er ikke
gyldig hvis produktet misbrukes, ved uaktsom bruk eller hvis du ikke følger
instruksjonene fra Wilfa, eller ved uautoriserte modiseringer og reparasjoner.
Garantien dekker heller ikke normal bruksslitasje på produktet, misbruk, mangel
på vedlikehold, bruk av feil elektrisk spenning eller:
• Ikke avkalket i henhold til bruksanvisningen
• Overbelastning av produktet
