3 WARNINGS
Complete machine safety is an integral WMF product characteristic to which we pay particular
attention.
In spite of all our safety precautions, all machines are potentially hazardous if not operated
properly.
That is why – for your own safety – we have summarized the warnings below.
For your own safety, please observe the
following instructions at all times:
Maintenance and repair work may only be
undertaken by specially trained WMF
customer service technicians.
The built-in safety facilities must not be
"repaired", bypassed or modified by non-
specialists.
Caution!
Never reach into the product hopper when the
machine is switched on.
Your fingers may be crushed!
4 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PREVENTIVE MEASURES TO AVOID CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE
Every technical device is a potential source of danger.
Neither the manufacturer nor WMF customer service accept any liability for consequential
damage of any kind outside the machine unless such liability is a mandatory legal requirement.
We therefore recommend the operator to take appropriate action for damage prevention in
accordance with local regulations and operating conditions.

5 OPERATION
5.1 GENERAL FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The WMF SUGAR DISPENSER compliments the
WMF BISTRO / WMF CAFEMAT for self-service use.
One portion of sugar is dispensed whenever the button is
pressed. When used in combination with WMF BISTRO /
WMF CAFEMAT, the sugar dispenser should be
positioned so that the customer first takes sugar and then
the coffee. If the hot cup of coffee were to be placed
under the sugar spout 6, the sugar could become stuck in
the outlet on account of the rising steam.
5.2 STARTING THE DISPENSER
STARTING FOR THE FIRST TIME
The dispenser must be started up for the first time by a
WMF customer service technician who will instruct your
staff accordingly.
DAILY USE
Unlock the sugar dispenser via the door lock 5and swing
the front door 3upwards. Switch the dispenser on via the
ON / OFF switch 9in the machine (see Fig. 1). The
power indicator 2lights up when the machine has been
switched on.
Figure 1
Check that the product hopper 1has been filled with
sugar. If sugar has to be replenished, remove the cover of
the product hopper 1and fill with sugar (see Fig. 2).

Caution!
Do not reach into the product hopper when the machine is
switched on. Your fingers may be crushed!
The set amount of sugar is dispensed via the sugar spout 6
when the product button 4is pressed.
5.3 SETTING THE PORTIONS
The amount of sugar dispensed per portion is set by
adjusting the potentiometer behind the collecting tray 7
(see Fig. 3).
Figure 3
6 CARE OF THE MACHINE
Concise cleaning instructions are affixed to the cover of
the product hopper. The housing should be wiped with a
damp cloth.
6.1 DAILY CARE
The machine must be cleaned at the end of the day.
Unlock the machine via the door lock 5and swing the
front door 3upwards. Switch the machine off via the
ON / OFF switch 9. Now remove the product hopper 1
from the machine: slightly raise the front of the hopper
and lift it out (see Figs. 5 and 6).
The sugar spout 6can be lifted and unhooked and then
cleaned without difficulty (see Fig. 4).
Ensure that the sugar spout 6is completely dry before it is
refitted. Figure 4

6.2 WEEKLY CARE
Unlock the door lock 5and swing the front door 3
upwards. Switch the machine off via the ON / OFF
switch 9before disassembling it. Now remove the
product hopper 1from the machine: slightly raise the
front of the hopper and lift it out (see Figs. 5 and 6). Figure 5 Figure 6
Empty the product hopper 1and then disassemble the
metering unit.
The union nuts (a) on the ejector cap 8and at the rear
must be removed for this purpose. Then pull out the
ejector
cap 8and metering screw (b) (see Fig. 7).
Figure 7
Note:
Note the position of the ejector cap 8before removing
it! The ejector cap 8must be located in exactly the
same position after reassembly. (see Fig. 8).
Remove all sugar residues from the disassembled parts
and product hopper with the small brush supplied. More
heavily soiled parts must be washed and then dried
thoroughly.
All parts must be refitted in reverse order taking care to
fit the ejector cap 8so that the ejector opening is at the
top (see Fig. 8). Then refit the product hopper 1.
Ensure that the product hopper 1is correctly secured with
the locking pins after being refitted.

7 PREPARATORY WORK
PREPARATIONS
The power supply must be routed right up to the machine. These on-site preparations must be
ordered by the machine's operator and must be carried out by a duly licensed electrician in
accordance with the general and local regulations. The WMF service technicians may only
connect the machine to the prepared connections. They are neither authorized to undertake any
installation work on site, nor are they responsible for such work.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The machine is connected to the power supply by means of a cable and earthed plug connector.
The socket outlet is part of the on-site installation.
