Cleaning instruction WMF 1400 Plug&Clean
Please refer to WMF 1400 User Manual.
Prior to the first cleaning read the Care chapter
in the User Manual.
Observe the Overview of cleaning interval
Schedule in Care chapter in the User Manual.
Never reach under the spouts while cleaning
the machine.
Esure that the mixer hose is replaced securely
beacause hot liquid may escape.

Insert the milk hose
with the Plug&Clean
adapter into the
Plug&Clean socket
Turn the adapter in
the socket by ⅛ turn,
clockwise, until it
stops
The hose is now pointing
straight downward.

Pull drip tray out and
empty it
Replace drip tray
Caution.
Without a drain
connection, the
drip tray must be
emptied.
Replace grounds

Lift the adjustable

Manual combi spout cleaning with Plug&Clean: Perform at least once per week. See below.
Combi spout cleaning at least 1 x weekly Prior to cleaning, switch off at ON/OFF button. Pull out mains plug.

Caution.
Carefully disconnect
the milk hose.
Pull forward the lever behind
the combi spout
Remove combi spout
Remove milk hose from milk
container and release from
combi spout
If a Mixer is fitted:
Release the mixer hose
Mix 0,17 US fl. oz (5ml) of
WMF special cleaner with
17 US fl. oz with (0.5l) of
warm water
Dismantle combi spout
Soak parts of combi spout
together with milk hose in the
cleaning solution
If a Mixer is fitted:
Soak mixer hose in the
cleaning solution
All parts must be completely
immersed.
After 5 hours clean all parts
thoroughly with a brush
C Foamer Cleaning Mixer Rinsing
Rinse combi spout and
milk hose very thoroughly
with clear water so that no
cleaning fluid remains
If a Mixer is fitted:
Rinse mixer hose very
thoroughly
Reassemble combi spout
Replace combi spout
Insert milk hose
If a Mixer is fitted:
Insert mixer hose
