6Snap-t the Keypad (Not Included) into the Keypad Kit Subassembly
Use the measurements above or the template in Ato cut the opening and drill or punch 6 each ø6 holes on
the customer-supplied enclosure.
You can also use the provided M3 x 6 at head screws and tighten to 0.49 to 0.73 N•m (4.3 to 6.4 in•lb) for additional security.






Use the provided M5 ange nuts and tighten the screws in the order shown below with initial torque.
Gradually increase the torque to 2 to 2.5 N•m (17.1 to 22.1 in•lb) to evenly compress the gasket.
Select the customer-supplied keypad cable length best suited for the enclosure size.
Plug one end of the cable into the female connector on the back side of the keypad. Plug the other end of the
cable into the female connector on the front of the drive.
The location of the connector is different for different drive models.
Electrical Shock Hazard. Do not connect or disconnect wiring while the power is on. Failure to comply will
result in death or serious injury. Before servicing, disconnect all power to the equipment. The internal capacitor remains
charged even after the power supply is turned off. The charge indicator LED will extinguish when the DC bus voltage is
below 50 Vdc. To prevent electric shock, wait for at least the time specied on the warning label, once all indicators are
OFF, measure for unsafe voltages to conrm the drive is safe prior to servicing. Failure to comply will result in death or
serious injury.

Measure the printed dimensions before you drill the screw holes. Moisture can cause the template scale to
change.

Either use a cable tie to connect the keypad
cable to the loop on the subassembly or put
the keypad cable into the snap t connector on
the subassembly.
Protect the cable from sharp edges and make
sure that the cable does not pinch in the
enclosure door.

Apply main power to the drive and make sure that the keypad functions correctly.

machine and attach covers, couplings, shaft keys, and machine loads before you energize the drive. If personnel are too
