Installation Manual
Read this manual before you install the option.
The manual contains basic information about how
to install, wire, and connect the DriveWizard
Mobile App or DriveWizard through Bluetooth
communication.
The manual is packaged together with the
product.
YASKAWA AC Drive

For information about drive settings, refer to the
manuals for the drive on which you will use this
option.
The manuals provide information about basic
installation, wiring, operation procedures,
functions, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
The manuals also include important information
about parameter settings and tuning the drive.

website shown on the back cover of this manual.

Standard Keypad LCD keypad without Bluetooth capability
Bluetooth Mode
A mode where the Bluetooth Keypad broadcasts
Bluetooth. A mobile device with the DriveWizard
Mobile App or a PC with DriveWizard software
communicates with the drive through Bluetooth.
Normal Operation Mode
A mode where the Bluetooth Keypad does not broadcast
Bluetooth. You can use the Bluetooth Keypad as a
Standard Keypad.
DriveWizard Mobile
A mobile app for Android and iOS that lets you use a
smartphone or tablet to manage and monitor drive
parameters.
DriveWizard An engineering tool that uses a PC to manage and
monitor drive parameters.

2 Overview
Communicate with the drive using Bluetooth with a Bluetooth
Keypad and the DriveWizard Mobile App or the DriveWizard PC
tool. Bluetooth keypad has all of the functions of the standard
keypad plus Bluetooth technology.
Key features of this keypad include the ability to:
•Read and modify drive parameter settings
•Back up, restore, and verify drive parameters
•Monitor drive operation status
