The computer is supplied with a battery-powered real-time
clock circuit. There is a danger of explosion if the battery is
incorrectly replaced. Replace only with same or equivalent
type recommended by the manufacturer. Discard used bat-
teries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Memory Installation
The UNO-238 V2 supports DDR5 SO-DIMM memory
modules. If you require a detailed list of compatible memory
modules, please get in touch with your distributor or sales
representative.
1. Unscrew (1930001241-11*4) and remove the bottom
cover (1960098469N011*1).
2. Unscrew (1930006647-01*4).
3. Unscrew (1930001241-11*4) and remove the top cover
(1960098692T011*1).
4. Apply a thermal pad (1990040776N00*1).
For DDR5 8GB or 16GB
Attach an “Up” thermal pad (1990026727N030*1)
and a “Down” thermal pad (1990040197N020*1).

For DDR5 32GB:
Use an “Up” thermal pad (1990026727N010*1)
and a “Down” thermal pad (1990040197N000*1).
5. Install the top cover (1960098692T011*1) and lock
screws (1930001241-11*4).
6. Secure the lock screws (1930006647-01*4).

7. Reinstall the bottom cover (1960098469N011*1) and
lock screws (1930001241-11*4).
Storage Installation
1. Unscrew (1930001241-11*4) and remove the bottom
cover (1960098469N011*1).

2. Unscrew (19350304A0*1).
3. Insert the NVME Card and secure it with the lock screw
(19350304A0*1)
4. If using an M-key storage with a capacity greater than
1TB, apply a thermal pad (1990040412N000*1) to the
bottom cover.
5. Reinstall the bottom cover (1960098469N011*1) and
lock screws (1930001241-11*4).
M.2 B Key (LTE module) Installation
The UNO-238 V2 supports M.2 B key modules for both
3042 and 3052.
For B Key for 3052
1. Unscrew (1930001241-11*4) and remove the bottom
cover (1960098469N011*1).

2. Remove the support bracket (1960102502T000) and
unscrew (19350304A0*1).
3. Insert the 5G module in the B key slot and secure it with
the lock screw (19350304A0*1).
4. Apply a thermal pad (1990040198N000*1) to the bot-
tom cover.
5. Reinstall the bottom cover (1960098469N011*1) and
lock screws (1930001241-11*4).
For B Key for 3042
1. Unscrew (1930001241-11*4) and remove the bottom
cover (1960098469N011*1).
2. Unscrew (19350304A0*1).

3. Insert the storage module in the B key slot and secure it
with the lock screw (19350304A0*1).
4. Reinstall the bottom cover (1960098469N011*1) and
lock screws (1930001241-11*4).
Internal USB 2.0 M.2 E Key Installation
1. Unscrew (1930001241-11*4) and remove the bottom
cover (1960098469N011*1).
2. Unscrew (19350304A0*1).
3. Insert the WiFi module in the E key slot and secure it
with the lock screw (19350304A0*1).
4. Reinstall the bottom cover (1960098469N011*1) and lock
screws (1930001241-11*4).

DIN-Rail Mount Installation
1. Take the mounting kit from the accessory box.
2. Secure the bracket to the bottom cover using 3 screws.
Wall Mount and Stand Mount
1. Read these safety instructions carefully.
2. Keep this Startup Manual for later reference.
3. Disconnect this equipment from any AC outlet before
cleaning. Use a damp cloth. Do not use liquid or spray
detergents for cleaning.
4. For plug-in equipment, the power outlet socket must
be located near the equipment and must be easily
accessible.
5. Keep this equipment away from humidity.
6. Put this equipment on a reliable surface during installa-
tion. Dropping it or letting it fall may cause damage.
7. The openings on the enclosure are for air convection.
Protect the equipment from overheating. DO NOT
COVER THE OPENINGS.
8. Make sure the voltage of the power source is correct
before connecting the equipment to the power outlet.
9. Position the power cord so that people cannot step on
it. Do not place anything over the power cord.
10. All cautions and warnings on the equipment should be
noted.
11. If the equipment is not used for a long time, disconnect
it from the power source to avoid damage by transient
overvoltage.
12. Never pour any liquid into an opening. This may cause
reorelectricalshock.
13. Never open the equipment. For safety reasons, the
equipmentshouldbeopenedonlybyqualiedservice
personnel.
14. If one of the following situations arises, get the equip-
ment checked by service personnel:
•The power cord or plug is damaged.
•Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
•The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
•The equipment does not work well, or you cannot get
it to work according to the user’s manual.
•The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
•The equipment has obvious signs of breakage.
15. DO NOT LEAVE THIS EQUIPMENT IN AN ENVIRON-
MENT WHERE THE STORAGE TEMPERATURE
MAY GO BELOW -40°C (-40°F) OR ABOVE 85°C
(185°F). THIS COULD DAMAGE THE EQUIPMENT.
THE EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE IN A CONTROLLED
ENVIRONMENT.
16. CAUTION: DANGER OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS

17. The sound pressure level at the operator’s position ac-
cording to IEC 704-1:1982 is no more than 70 dB (A).
18. RESTRICTED ACCESS AREA: The equipment should
only be installed in a Restricted Access Area.
