Intended use
The DRY 1.4 and DRY 2.4 are dry digital tabletop printers for producing
medical diagnostic images. They can print multiple formats (8x10 inch, 10x12
inch, 11x14 inch, 14x14 inch and 14x17 inch) of blue-based (CDF-B) film and
offers crisp, dense grayscale images. The DRY 1.4 and DRY 2.4 can be used for
general radiography only. They cannot be used for the mammography
application. The DRY 1.4 and DRY 2.4 are designed for highthroughput and
for use as a central printer.

The printer has 2 input trays. Both trays can handle all listed film types and
formats.
When a new film pack is loaded, the Film Identification tag is read and the
printer settings are automatically adjusted.
The Key-operator can overrule the film settings for the input tray.
Labeling the input trays
Note: If you want to change the film format, the tray
configuration must be modified.
Appropriate labels have been applied on the input tray(s) by the service
personnel at installation of the printer, indicating the type of new film to be
loaded when the tray is empty.
