Disassembly Instructions

These disassembly instructions are also applicable to PRESTO and TWIST.
Tools: #2 #3 Phillips head, Rubber mallat or hammer, Small flathead screwdriver, Box cutter.
Skill Set: Good manual dexterity.
Estimated Time: 16min per chair.
Steps:
1. Armrest - 2min
Loose the arm knob located underside of the seat panel and remove the arm. Remove the
width adjustable bracket by unfastening screws located underside of the seat pan. Flip the
chair to the opposing side and repeat the process.
2. Arm Cap - 1min
Turn the arm upside down so the bottom is visible. Locate the two fasteners and unfasten.
Remove the arm cap from the arm.
3. Back Rest - 3min
In these chairs, the fasteners are concealed between the back rest and back panel. In this
event, carefully insert the tip of screwdriver in between the back panel and back rest. Push
down on the handle of the screwdriver while also applying pressure into the back panel and
back rest to pry both apart. Continue to apply pressure in this way until the back panel is free
from the back rest. Once the four fasteners are sufficiently exposed, remove the back rest by
unscrewing fasteners.
4. Back Bar - 1min
Once the back rest is removed, locate 3 fasteners located underside of the mechanism and
unfasten. Remove back bar from the mechanism.
5. Casters - 2min
Lay chair on back. Grasp and pull to remove casters from the base.

6. Base - 1min
Hold the base legs firmly and strike the bottom of cylinder with a hammer until base comes
loose, remove base.
7. Cylinder - 1min
Remove cylinder by placing one hand on can of cylinder and hit the bottom of the mechanism
with hammer until cylinder separates from mechanism.
8. Mechanism - 2min
Turn the chair upside down so the bottom is visible. Locate the four fasteners located on the
underside of the seat pan or seat slider and unfasten. Remove mechanism from the seat pan
or seat slider.
9. Seat - 2min
Turn the chair upside down so the bottom is visible. Locate the four fasteners located on the
underside of the seat slider or seat pan and unfasten. Remove seat from the mechanism or
seat slider.
10. Seat Slider - 1min
Turn the chair upside down so the bottom is visible. Locate the four fasteners located on the
underside of the seat pan and unfasten. Remove seat slider from seat pan.
