The OPUS-7000 Series Central Pay-on-Foot, Pay-in-Lane Station was designed
for flexibility and ease of use in any facility. The fully functional, touch screen

credit card, bills, coins, and/or encrypted 2D data matrix barcode bulk validation
tickets. Mobile and barcode validations can be processed through the optional
FlexScan QR400® barcode imager.
The OPUS-7000 Series Operations Manual is intended to provide assistance on
Paystation operational processes. These processes range from basic
Paystation operation to advanced Paystation management.

Transactions
2.1 Overview of the Transaction Process
The OPUS-7000 Series Paystation automatically calculates parking fees by
processing parking ticket information. The OPUS-7000 Series accepts data
matrix ticket technology only.
The Paystation will automatically read the entry information encoded on the
barcode of a parking ticket and calculate the fee. Payments are accepted in the
form of notes, coins, validations, access cards, passes (via FlexScan option)
and service cards for discounts.
After a transaction has been completed, the Paystation will vault the ticket in a
box while vending the gate for the customer to exit.
2.1.1 Entry Ticket
An entry ticket is the ticket the customer receives from the OPUS-2000 Series
Entry Terminal upon entering the parking facility.
[Fig. 2.1A] OPUS entry ticket
From left to right, the entry information is printed on the ticket in the following
manner:

A cancellation ticket is created when a customer pushes the Cancel button
during the course of a transaction. The entry ticket that was inserted will be
reissued as a Cancellation Ticket. Any validation coupons that have been
applied to the fee will be included on the cancellation ticket and processed as
configured. Change will be returned from the coin and note return.
