Recommendations
EN
• Do not use AMIBOT Glass on uneven surfaces, such as frosted,
textured, patterned or coated glass. AMIBOT will not be liable for
damage due to incorrect use of the robot on said surfaces.
• AMIBOT Glass is only appropriate for vertical, framed or framel-
ess glazed surfaces.
• Do not use AMIBOT Glass on a surface with frames less than
5mm thick.
• AMIBOT Glass can be used on a surface area of at least 50*70cm.
• Please ensure a clearance of at least 9cm between the glass and
any obstacles in the room (curtains or furniture).
• AMIBOT Glass can clean horizontally mounted glass or glass
mounted at an angle using the remote control. However, the de-
gree of the angle may aect the correct functioning of the appli-
ance. If this is the case, please ensure that someone is close to
the appliance in the event of a problem.
• Do not use AMIBOT Glass upside down.
• AMIBOT Glass is designed for routine cleaning. The appliance is
not intended to replace heavy-duty or rst-time cleaning.
• Do not use the appliance on damp or greasy windows.
• The appliance can be used to clean outside windows or windows
at a height if fastened with the safety rope, winds are calm and it
is not raining or snowing.
• Do not use the appliance on cracked glass.

Notes before using AMIBOT Glass
• Please ensure AMIBOT Glass is plugged in while it is cleaning.
• AMIBOT Glass has a back-up battery that charges during use.
The back-up battery powers the robot if it becomes unplugged
or the electricity fails.
• Using the back-up battery: the back-up battery must be charged
for around 2h before using the robot for the rst time.
• If the glazed surface is dirty, clean a small area before placing the
AMIBOT Glass there.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not securely attached to the
window or if it shows visible signs of deterioration.
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not place the appliance
near water or other liquids.
• Do not touch the power plug or the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not pull on the appliance's power cord to avoid causing
possible damage.
• Keep the power cord away from sources of heat.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged.
• WARNING: Only use the power cable supplied by the manufacturer
to charge the battery.
• The robot batteries must only be replaced by qualied persons.
• The remote control uses two non-rechargeable AAA RO3
batteries.
• If the remote control is not used for a long period of time, the
batteries must be replaced.

The power plug and adapter must only be used indoors.

Connecting the power supply to the robot
Plug the power plug into the robot. Screw the power plug in a
clockwise direction.

Assembling the safety cord
The safety cord must be fastened to your appliance if you wish to
clean an outside window or a window at a height.
Fasten end 1 of the safety cord around the robot handle (B).
Fasten end 2 of the safety cord to a secure place (C) to stop the robot
from falling.
NOTE: The robot could fall due to a power outage of more than 30min (AMIBOT
Glass back-up battery life).

Using the extension cord (4.5m)
If the power cable length restricts AMIBOT Glass's movements, the
extension cord can be used.

Preparing and using the cleaning pads
Cleaning pad types
1. Grey cleaning pad
2. Yellow cleaning pad

Grey microbre cleaning pad
The grey microbre cleaning pad is used for regular maintenance
cleaning of surfaces where dust accumulation is not signicant. This
cleaning pad is used with a cleaning product suitable for cleaning
glazed surfaces.
Yellow cleaning pad
The yellow cleaning pad is suitable for windows with a signicant
amount of dust. Use a dry cleaning pad to remove the maximum
amount of dirt.
NOTE:
• For particularly dirty surfaces, AMIBOT recommends using the yellow cleaning
pad before using the grey cleaning pad with window cleaner.
• Ensure that the cleaning pads do not cover the detection sensors at the edge of
the robot or the continuous tracks.

Plug the robot into the mains supply
The robot is charged when the indicator light is green.
NOTE: Do not unplug in the appliance while in use because it could fall.

Turn the robot on
Press the Start/Pause button (1) found
on the top of the robot for 2 seconds.
The blue indicator will illuminate and
AMIBOT'S suction fan will start. The robot
can be placed on the glazed surface.
Place the robot on the window
Place AMIBOT on the window at least
8cm from the window edges or any other
obstacle.

Choose the cleaning mode
Automatic: Before starting its cleaning cycle, AMIBOT scans the
perimeter to analyse the shape of the glazed surface and dene its
cleaning route.
Cleaning modes available: Choose from three cleaning modes
using the remote control:
AMIBOT Glass can be started by:
• Pressing the Start/Pause (1)
button found on the top of
the robot.
• Pressing the Start button on
the remote control (2).
Start the robot
1. N Mode: is suitable for particularly long surfaces.
2. Z Mode: is suitable for particularly wide surfaces.
3. Z/N Mode: AMIBOT automatically alternates between Z and N
modes.

Pause
To stop AMIBOT, press the Start/Pause button on the robot (1) or the
Pause/Restart button on the remote control (2).
Stop
When AMIBOT stops its cleaning cycle, it returns to the place it
started and beeps.
Remove the robot from the glazed surface
Take hold of the robot's handle and press the Start/Pause button (1)
for around 2 seconds so the suction fan stops. AMIBOT can then be
removed from the window safely.
Remove the safety cord
If the safety cord was installed beforehand, it can now be removed.

appliance, as a security measure.

Cleaning pads
Remove the AMIBOT's cleaning
pad and rinse with clean water
and your choice of cleaning
product. Rub and rinse with
plenty of water.
AMIBOT grey and yellow cleaning
pads are machine washable at
30° maximum.
Allow cleaning pads to dry before reusing them on your AMIBOT.
Fan
Turn the AMIBOT over and wipe
any debris from the fan with a
dry cloth so the same level of
xation is maintained.

Edge sensors
Turn the AMIBOT over and clean
the four edge sensors using
a dry cloth to maintain their
eectiveness.
Continuous tracks
Use a dry cloth to clean the
continuous tracks.

Indicator lights

Robot status Indicator
Continuous BLUE AMIBOT is ready to be attached to the glazed
surface and start its cleaning cycle.
Flashes RED AMIBOT has encountered a problem.
Continuous GREEN Back-up battery is fully charged and AMIBOT is
ready to use.
Continuous ORANGE AMIBOT back-up battery is charging.

Please contact AMIBOT technical department in the following cases:
• If the appliance has been dropped, damaged or come into contact
with water.
• If the power cord is damaged.
• If the back-up battery is defective.

not work correctly.
The indicator ashes

Check that the robot is
connected to the power
cable or the extension
cord.
