Operation
Charging the robot
Figure 1 Figure 2
There are two ways to charge the battery:
• Using the home base (Figure 1).
• Using the power adapter (Figure 2).
NOTE:
• The robot must be switched on while it is being charged.
• Do not place a mirror or other highly reflective object within a distance of at
least 15cm from the home base.
• When the robot’s battery is completely flat, the AUTO indicator light slowly
flashes red. While charging, the indicator light slowly flashes blue. When fully
charged, the AUTO indicator light is steady blue.
• If the battery is weak while the robot is cleaning, it automatically returns to its
home base. The home base must therefore be switched on.
• If the robot is not used for a long period of time, you are recommended to
fully charge the battery, switch off the robot and store it in a cool, dry place.

Operation
Central brush mode
Dust inlet mode
Designed for maximum efficiency, the dust inlet vacuums all debris
found during the robot’s cleaning cycle. This mode is recommended
for routine cleaning of hard floors only.
Suction modes
The dust inlet and central brush are interchangeable to adapt the
suction in accordance with your floors. Press the fastening hooks to
change the vacuum system.
The central brush consists of fibre bristles and resistant rubber
blades. It effectively cleans all types of floors, especially rugs and
carpets. The central brush’s bristles precise clean rugs and carpets
by rapidly brushing the fibres to lift excess dust, crumbs, hair and
pet hair without damaging them. This mode is for more thorough
vacuuming.

17
Operation
Scheduling is only performed on the AMIBOT mobile app.
With the daily schedule feature, the robot can start a cleaning cycle
Scheduling
at the time and on the days you choose. You can reset the time and
scheduled times whenever you want via the mobile app.
Setting a schedule
Determine cleaning slots from the mobile app.
Once on the home page, go to the robot’s options.

18
Operation
Cleaning modes
The robot has five cleaning routes. These routes can be selected
from the AMIBOT mobile app. AUTO Mode can also be selected on
the robot.
AUTO mode
Press the AUTO button on the robot or
“Start”. Using its laser module, the robot
analyses the room to clean and goes back
to the wall closest to it. It then divides the
room into squares by 4 m by 4 m area in a
zig-zag fashion to vacuum any debris and
dust.
MAX mode
SILENT Mode
The MAX mode is useful for floors that are extremely dusty.
When the robot performs a cleaning cycle, you can increase its
suction power. To do this, go to the robot’s settings from the mobile
app (the three points in the top right of the screen), select Cleaning
mode and then the option Powerful.
In SILENT mode, the robot decreases its suction power and moves
more slowly. To switch to SILENT Mode, select the Silent option in
the robot’s settings.
This mode is useful for more discreet cleaning.
