2. IMPORTANTE
Antes de la llegada del VAPORINO INOX MAXI, el cliente debe preparar, cerca del
lugar donde se instalará, un enchufe que esté protegido y adecuado para la potencia
del VAPORINO INOX MAXI (se aconseja un interruptor magnetotérmico diferencial de 16 A
y Id 30 mA). Para el transporte y manejo de VAPORINO INOX MAXI, usar solo el mango
especial. No tirar nunca de los cables eléctricos (Fig. 1).
El uso de este aparato no es adecuado para personas (incluidos niños) con
capacidades físicas, mentales, sensoriales y mentales reducidas o gente inexperta, a
menos que una persona responsable de su seguridad lo supervise y lo instruya en el
uso del aparato. Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de que no jueguen
con el aparato.
3. APERTURA DEL EMBALAJE
1. Abrir la caja que contiene el VAPORINO INOX MAXI, coger el libro de instrucciones
y leerlo con atención.
2. Sacar el VAPORINO INOX MAXI de la caja y colocar la antena en en puerto de
antena situado en la parte posterior del aparato (fig.1) asegurándose de insertarlo
bien hasta el final.
3. Fijar los cables de la plancha al gancho de la antena, evitando torcerlos.
4. Colocar la plancha sobre el soporte de goma suministrado (fig.1).
5. Para el VAPORINO INOX MAXI con carro: atornille la perilla del carrito en el
accesorio especial ubicado debajo de la base del VAPORINO INOX MAXI (Fig. 2).
4. CONEXIÓN Y ENCENDIDO
Con el VAPORINO INOX MAXI apagado y el enchufe desconectado:
1. Desenroscar la tapa de la válvula del MAXI VAPORINO INOX (Fig. 1) y llenar la
caldera con la cantidad de agua deseada (Fig. 2) prestando atención a que no se
desborde. Se recomienda llenar la caldera utilizando un embudo. Enrosque la tapa
nuevamente cogiéndolo por la parte de plástico, advirtiéndole que no la apriete
demasiado, de lo contrario se dañaría la junta (vea el capítulo 7).
2. Insertar el enchufe en la toma de corriente A 230 V 16.
3. Encender el interruptor de la caldera (Fig. 2 B), el interruptor de la plancha (Fig. 2
D) y girar el termostato de la plancha a la posición "algodón" (Fig. 3).
4. Esperar a que se apague la luz de la caldera (Fig.2 C): el manómetro debe indicar
aproximadamente 2.5/3 bar. En este punto, levante la plancha por el mango de
corcho y presione el micro interruptor de la plancha (Fig. 4) 4-5 veces, dejando
salir el vapor. También es necesario asegurarse de que el vapor esté bien saturado
(pulsando el micro interruptor con la plancha hacia el suelo). También es posible
ajustar la cantidad deseada de vapor usando la perilla de regulación de vapor
(Fig.2). Una vez que se ha llevado a cabo la operación, la plancha está lista para
planchar. Durante el planchado, la luz de advertencia de la caldera se enciende y
apaga continuamente, una señal de funcionamiento normal (Fig. 2 C).

5. ADVERTENCIAS GENERALES
1. Conectar el VAPORINO INOX MAXI a una toma de corriente adecuada y protegida
(no conectar el aparato a regletas y cables de extensión no adecuados a su
potencia).
2. Mantener a los niños alejados del VAPORINO INOX MAXI, tanto cuando está en
funcionamiento como cuando está apagada.
3. El aparato debe usarse y dejarse reposar sobre una superficie estable.
4. El aparato debe colocarse siempre en posición horizontal durante el uso.
5. El carrito VAPORINO INOX MAXI (accesorio disponible bajo pedido) debe colocarse
cerca de la tabla de planchar. No estirar demasiado el cable y el tubo de la
plancha, ya que puede ocurrir que el carro se invierta.
6. El usuario no debe dejar el aparato desatendido cuando está conectado a la red
eléctrica.
7. Usar solo agua potable procedente del suministro de agua para uso doméstico.
8. No agregar ningún tipo de aditivos en el agua.
9. No drenar el agua de la caldera durante el uso del aparato (vea el capítulo 8).
10.No se debe abrir el tapón de la válvula cuando el aparato está en funcionamiento.
11. No es necesario sustituir nunca el tapón de la válvula (fig. 1) con tapones
de ningún otro tipo. Nota: la tapa de la válvula está calibrada a 4.5 bar y
también actúa como una válvula de seguridad.
12.No dejar nunca la plancha encima de la tabla de planchar ni encima de los artículos
a planchar.
13. No colocar la plancha directamente sobre el soporte metálico de hierro del aparato
(utilizar siempre la estera de goma especial).

14.No utilizar nunca la plancha para planchar prendas de ropa puesta sobre personas
o cosas.
15.Mientras esté en uso, no acercar el aparato a partes termolábiles o inflamables.
6. PLANCHADO
1. Pasar la plancha sobre los artículos a planchar, presionando el microinterruptor de
la plancha, a intervalos, para dejar salir el vapor (Fig. 4).
2. Para prendas delicadas, azules o negras, recomendamos el uso de la plantilla
especial anti-brillo.
3. Durante el planchado, es prudente, colocar la plancha solamente sobre la
almohadilla de goma (fig.1).
4. Para el planchado en seco, se puede ajustar el termostato (Fig. 3) en las diversas
posiciones, según el tipo de tela que desee planchar (consultar las indicaciones en
las prendas). Para planchar con vapor, se debe ajustar el termostato en la posición
"algodón" o "lino" (NOTA : solo para las planchas Tulipano, el termostato debe
colocarse en el extremo "lana" - comenzando con "algodón").
5. Cuando se usa VAPORINO INOX MAXI junto con una tabla de planchar sin succión,
pueden aparecer manchas de agua en la mesa, en este caso, reducir el flujo de
vapor de la plancha utilizando el botón de regulación de vapor (Fig. 2). Por lo
tanto, es aconsejable combinar el aparato con una mesa transpirable y calentada.
7. RECARGAR AGUA EN LA CALDERA
El agua se agota cuando, durante el planchado, se enciende la luz «sin agua» (fig. 2
D). Llegados a este punto, desenchufar la máquina, girar la tapa de la válvula 360º
(fig. 1) y esperar que salga todo el vapor (el manómetro debe indicar 0 bar).
Desenroscar y retirar la tapa con mucho cuidado y esperar 5 o 10 minutos.
Luego rellenar la caldera con el agua necesaria (Fig. 2), evitando el desbordamiento
(ver el capítulo 4, punto 1). Volver a enroscar la tapa de la válvula, insertar el enchufe
en la toma de corriente y esperar hasta que se apague la luz de la caldera (Fig. 2 C).
La plancha ya vuelve a estar lista para planchar.
Durante la operación de recarga, prestar atención para no derramar agua en el
exterior de la máquina, si esto ocurre, secar inmediatamente para evitar riesgos
eléctricos.

8. VACIADO DE LA CALDERA
Vaciar la caldera con regularidad. Realizar la operación con el VAPORINO INOX MAXI
apagado y frío (el manómetro debe indicar 0 BAR) y con el enchufe desconectado de
la red. Esperar al menos 1 hora después de apagarlo. Durante esta operación, usar
guantes de trabajo para evitar posibles quemaduras.
Retirar la tapa de la válvula (Fig. 1) y girar el VAPORINO INOX MAXI hacia la derecha
para que salgan el agua y las impurezas.
9. BUEN FUNCIONAMENTO
El VAPORINO INOX MAXI fue diseñado y construido para el planchado de ropa para
uso familiar. Puede trabajar un máximo de 10 horas por semana (dividido en varias
veces), con un máximo de 40 mensuales.
10. INTERVENCIONES Y PEQUEÑAS REPARACIONES
1. Se recomienda vaciar la caldera después de usarla 2 o 3 veces.
2. Se recomienda reemplazar la junta de sellado de la tapa de la válvula (utilizando
solo las originales) cada 1200 horas de encendido, un poco antes si está dañado o,
como máximo, cada 2 años. La operación debe realizarse con la máquina apagada
y fría, y cuando el manómetro indica 0 bar.
3. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, proceder a su reemplazo inmediatamente.
El cable está disponible en el fabricante o el servicio de asistencia técnica.
11. MANTENIMIENTO OBLIGATORIO Y PERIÓDICO
(Para llevar a cabo exclusivamente en los centros de asistencia o en la empresa
fabricante del producto)
Se recomienda reemplazar:
1. la válvula de seguridad interna cada 1400 horas de encendido o como máximo
cada 3 años;
2. el termostato interno cada 1400 horas de encendido o como máximo, cada 3 años;
3. el tubo de vapor y el hilo de la plancha siempre que estén dañados (fig 3);
4. la tapa de la válvula cada 2500 horas de trabajo o como máximo, cada 3 años (fig
1).
También es aconsejable limpiar la caldera para eliminar las incrustaciones de cal cada
1400 horas de encendido o al menos cada 3 años.
12. RIESGOS ELÉCTRICOS
Las siguientes situaciones se definen como peligrosas desde un punto de vista
eléctrico, ya que pueden poner al usuario que utiliza el VAPORINO INOX MAXI en
condiciones peligrosas:
1. cuando se enciende el interruptor diferencial (salvavidas) en el momento de encender el
aparato;
2. al usar el VAPORINO INOX MAXI durante una tormenta eléctrica;

3. al usar el VAPORINO INOX MAXI sin la protección adecuada para los pies (sin zapatos
...) o con los pies mojados;
4. cuando los cables eléctricos están dañados;
5. cuando el cable de alimentación toca partes calientes del aparato;
6. cuando la plancha se sobrecalienta o pierde agua (Fig. 3);
7. al lavar o limpiar la plancha con agua (Fig. 3);
8. cuando el aparato tiene fugas de agua;
9. cuando se llena de agua la caldera, con el aparato en marcha.
13. RIESGOS MECÁNICOS
Las siguientes situaciones se definen como peligrosas desde un punto de vista
eléctrico, ya que pueden poner al usuario que utiliza el VAPORINO INOX MAXI en
condiciones peligrosas:
1. cuando se usa VAPORINO INOX MAXI fuera del planchado normal;
2. cuando se reemplaza la junta de la tapa de la válvula con juntas no originales.
14. RIESGOS TÉRMICOS
El aparato puede estar extremadamente caliente: tener mucho cuidado durante el uso
y desconectar la fuente de alimentación cuando no se utilice.
Las siguientes situaciones se definen como peligrosas desde un punto de vista
térmico, ya que pueden poner al usuario que utiliza el VAPORINO INOX MAXI en
condiciones peligrosas:
1. al tocar la placa de la plancha en funcionamiento;
2. al tocar la válvula de solenoide de vapor del VAPORINO INOX MAXI bajo presión;
3. cuando el agua se drena con la caldera presurizada;
4. cuando se toca la tapa de la válvula de la caldera presurizada;
5. cuando se dirige el chorro de vapor hacia personas o animales.
 No planchar la ropa directamente
sobre las personas.
 No dejar la plancha sobre los
artículos a planchar.
 Después del uso, la plancha
siempre debe colocarse sobre la
almohadilla de goma adecuada.
15. EMBALAJE, ALMACENAMIENTO Y TRANSPORTE
El VAPORINO INOX MAXI se embala en una caja de cartón que no puede ponerse boca
abajo.
Como no es un paquete rígido, no es muy resistente a los golpes (material frágil), por
lo tanto, prestar la máxima atención cuando manipule el aparato embalado, no lo use
como un taburete o como soporte.

Para centros autorizados para reventa: se recomienda no sobreponer más de 3 cajas
y almacenarlas en un lugar seco.
16. CONDICIONES DE GARANTÍA
La garantía del fabricante caduca:
 En caso de alteración de la máquina o reparaciones por parte de personal no
autorizado;
 Por el incumplimiento total o parcial de las instrucciones contenidas en este
manual;
 Para almacenamiento deficiente o ensamblaje incorrecto;
 Al usar piezas de repuesto no originales;
 cuando se usa la máquina para una función distinta de la especificada en este
manual.
17. ELIMINACIÓN
De conformidad con el art. 26 del Decreto Legislativo 14 de marzo de
2014 n. 49 "aplicación de la Directiva 2012/19/UE sobre residuos de
aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos", no deseche el aparato junto con los
residuos municipales mixtos.
Este producto cumple con la Directiva 2011/65/UE sobre la restricción del
uso de ciertas sustancias peligrosas en equipos eléctricos y electrónicos.
El símbolo del contenedor cruzado en el dispositivo indica que el
producto, al final de su vida útil, debe recogerse por separado de otros
residuos.
El usuario final deberá entregar el aparato, al final de su vida útil, a los centros de
recolección apropiados para desechos electrónicos y electrotécnicos, o devolverlo al
minorista cuando compre un nuevo tipo de equipo equivalente, uno por uno.
La recogida adecuada, por separado, distingue equipos para el posterior reciclaje,
tratamiento o eliminación compatible con el medio ambiente y ayuda a evitar posibles
efectos negativos sobre el medio ambiente y la salud y favorece el reciclaje de los
materiales que componen el equipo.
La eliminación ilegal del producto por parte del usuario implica las sanciones
administrativas previstas por la ley.

2. IMPORTANT
Before installing VAPORINO INOX MAXI, it is necessary to set up a protected electrical
socket suitable to VAPORINO INOX MAXI power (it is better to use an earth protector
magneto-thermic switch 16 A ld 30 mA). For the transport and the movement of
VAPORINO INOX MAXI, take the generator only by the specific handle. Never pull its
electric wires (fig. 1).
This steam generator is not suitable for people (children included) with physical or mental
handicaps or inexperienced persons, unless they are instructed by a person who takes the
responsibility for their safety. Children must not play with the steam generator.
3. OPENING OF PACKAGE
1. Open the box containing VAPORINO INOX MAXI, take the instructions manual and
read it carefully.
2. Remove VAPORINO INOX MAXI from the box, assemble the cable support and
insert it deep into the special support holder placed on the back side of VAPORINO
INOX MAXI (fig. 1).
3. Fix the cable and the tube of the iron to the support hook, avoiding entwining.
4. Place the iron on the rubber iron rest supplied with the machine (fig. 1).
5. For VAPORINO INOX MAXI supplied with trolley: screw the trolley knob on the
proper connection under the base of the VAPORINO INOX MAXI (fig. 2).
4. CONNECTION AND STARTING
With VAPORINO INOX MAXI switched off and disconnected plug:
1. Unscrew the security valve plug of VAPORINO INOX MAXI (fig. 1) and fill the boiler
with water to the desired level (fig. 2) paying attention not to overfill it. It is advisable
to use a funnel. Take the plug by the plastic part and screw it again: do not tighten
too much or its gasket might get spoilt (see section 7).
2. Insert the plug into a 230 V 16 A socket.
3. Switch on the boiler (fig. 2 B) and the iron switch (fig. 2 A) and adjust the thermostat
of the iron (fig. 3) on “cotton”.
4. Wait for the boiler lamp to switch off (fig. 2 C): the manometer should mark about
2,5/3 bar. At this point seize the iron by cork handle and press the micro-switch of the
iron (fig. 4) for 4 or 5 times, so that steam comes out. It is important to make sure
that the steam is saturated (by pressing the micro-switch with the iron pointed
towards the floor). It is also possible to adjust steam flux by turning the regulation
knob (fig. 2). Now everything is ready for ironing. During ironing operation, the
boiler lamp switches on and off signalling that the machine is working properly (fig.
2 C).

5. GENERAL WARNINGS
1. Connect VAPORINO INOX MAXI to a suitable and protected socket (avoid
connecting the device to multiple sockets or extensions which are not suitable to
its power).
2. Keep children away from VAPORINO INOX MAXI, both when it is on and off.
3. Place the equipment on a steady surface, whether it is being used or not.
4. Always place equipment horizontally when it is being used.
5. Arrange the VAPORINO INOX MAXI trolley (accessory available by request) next to the
ironing board. Do not pull the cable and the tube of the iron too hard because the trolley
might be overturned.
6. The operator must never leave the machine unattended when it is switched on.
7. Use only drinkable water coming from the water supply for domestic use.
8. Never add additives to water.
9. Never empty the boiler while it is working (see section 8).
10.Never unscrew the safety valve plug while machine is being use.
11. Never replace the safety valve plug (fig. 1) with other types of plug. N.B. the
safety valve plug is set on 4,5 BAR and it has the function of a safety valve.
12.Never leave the iron on the board or on garments when it is on.
13.Never place the iron directly on the metal part of the iron rest (always use the
proper rubber rest).
14. Do not iron garments directly on persons or things.
15.When in use, do not bring the machine near inflammable or thermo-labile parts.

6. IRONING OPERATION
1. Run the iron on garments, pressing the micro-switch of the iron at intervals (fig. 4) so
that steam comes out.
2. For delicate, blue or black garments, we suggest to use the specific anti-sheen shoe.
3. During ironing operation, always put the iron on its rubber rest (fig. 1).
4. For dry ironing it is possible to adjust the thermostat (fig. 3) on different positions
according to the type of fabric (look at garment label). For steam ironing set the
thermostat on “cotton” or “linen” (N.B.: the thermostat of TULIPANO irons must be
set between “wool” and “cotton”).
5. When VAPORINO INOX MAXI is used with a non-vacuum board, some circular
water spots might form. In this case, reduce the steam flux through the hand-
wheel for steam regulation (fig. 2). It is recommended to combine the machine
with a vacuum and heated ironing board.
7. WATER FILLING
When the water in the boiler is over, the lamp “no water” (fig. 2 D) switches on. At this
point disconnect the plug, rotate the valve plug (fig. 1) of 360° and wait for steam to go
out completely (the manometer has to indicate 0 bar). Unscrew the valve plug with care
and wait 5/10 minutes.
Then fill the boiler up to the desired level (fig. 2) paying attention not to overfill the water
on it (see section 4 point 1). Screw the safety valve plug again, connect the plug and wait
for the boiler lamp to switch off (fig. 2 C). Now the iron is ready again.
While refilling the boiler, do not spill water onto the machine. In the event this should
happen, dry immediately in order to avoid electrical risks.
8. BOILER DISCHARGE
Empty the boiler periodically. Carry out this operation when the VAPORINO INOX MAXI is
turned off, cold (the manometer has to mark 0 BAR ) and the plug disconnected. Wait t
least 1 hour after the switching off. During this procedure, wear proper gloves in order
to avoid accidental burns.

Unscrew the safety valve plug (fig. 1) and rotate the VAPORINO INOX MAXI rightwards so that
water and possible impurities come out.
9. GOOD FUNCTIONING
VAPORINO INOX MAXI was designed and manufactured for the ironing of domestic
garments. It can be used maximum 10 hrs. per week (subdivided in many times) or 40
hrs. per month.
10. INTERVENTIONS AND SMALL REPAIRS
1. It is advisable to empty the boiler every 2-3 times you use it.
2. It is advisable to replace the gasket of security valve plug (use only original gaskets)
every 1200 hrs. of lighting or maximum 2 years, or earlier if it is damaged. Carry out
this operation when the machine is switched off and cold and the manometer
indicates 0 bar.
3. If the electric wire is damaged, replace it immediately. The wire is supplied by the
manufacturer or authorized service centres.
11. COMPULSORY PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE
(To be carried out exclusively by assistance centres or by the manufactured)
It is recommended to replace:
1. the internal security valve every 1400 hrs. of ironing or maximum 3 years;
2. the internal thermostat every 1400 hrs. of ironing or maximum 3 years;
3. steam tube and iron cable once they seem damaged (fig. 3);
4. the safety valve plug every 2500 hrs. or maximum every 3 years (fig. 1).
It is recommended also to clean the boiler from limestone every 1400 hrs. of ironing or
maximum every 3 years.
12. ELECTRICAL RISKS
The following situations are considered dangerous for the operator:
1. earth protector switch is activated when turning on the machine;
2. using VAPORINO INOX MAXI during thunderstorms;
3. using VAPORINO INOX MAXI without proper protection for feet (without shoes…)
or with wet feet;
4. damaged electrical wires;
5. when the electric wires touch hot parts of the machine;
6. iron overheating or loss of water from iron (fig. 3);
7. washing or cleaning the iron using water;
8. loss of water from the machine;
9. filling the boiler when the machine is switched on.
13. MECHANICAL RISKS
The following situations are considered dangerous for the operator:

1. using VAPORINO INOX MAXI for different purposes other than ironing;
2. replacing the gasket of the safety valve plug with non-original gaskets.
14. THERMIC RISKS
The machine can become extremely hot: use it very carefully and disconnect the plug
when not in use.
The following situations are considered dangerous for the operator:
1. touching the iron base when it is hot;
2. touching the solenoid valve when VAPORINO INOX MAXI is under pressure;
3. emptying the boiler under pressure;
4. touching the safety valve plug when the machine is under pressure;
5. directing the steam jet towards people or animals.
 Do not iron garments directly on
persons.
 Do not leave the iron on garments
when it is on.
 After use, always put iron on its
rubber rest.
15. PACKING, STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
VAPORINO INOX MAXI is packed in a cardboard box which cannot be turned upside
down. As this is not a stiff package it is not shock-resistant. We advise you to handle
the box with utmost care and do not use it as stool or support.
For authorized distributors and resellers: do not store more than 3 boxes one on top
of another and keep them dry (Handle with care).
16. WARRANTY
Warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:
 Tampering with the machine or repairs carried out by non-authorized personnel;
 Total or partial inobservance of the instructions contained in this manual;
 Improper maintenance or wrong assembly/connection;
 Use of non original spare parts;
 Use of the machine for purposes other than those written in this manual.

17. DISPOSAL
According to the directive 2012/19/UE on waste of electrical and
electronic equipment, do not treat this product as household waste.
This appliance is marked according to the directive 2011/65/UE on
restriction of use of specific dangerous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment.
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product
shall not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over
to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment.
Ensuring this product is disposed of correctly will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health which could otherwise be caused
by inappropriate waste handling of this product. The recycling of materials will help to
conserve natural resources.
The abusive disposal of the product by the user may lead to administrative sanctions.
