connected, the plug must be accessible so it can be
unplugged in case of need.
20. To avoid damages, the connecon data on the
machine plate (protecon, frequency, voltage)
must match with the ones of the power grid to whi-
ch the machine will be connected. In case of doubt
apply to a qualied technician.
21. When showing even small signs of damage,
replace the power cable with one of the same type

done at the end of each operang session, but boi-
ler emptying/cleaning must be done at least once
a month. Before doing it, unplug the machine, let it
cool and gently unscrew half-round the security val-
ve to remove eventual residual pressure inside the
boiler. When the boiler is empty open gently the
drain valve to let the residual water get out. If no
water comes out check the output for limescale. In
case of limescale inside the boiler, it is possible to
pour inside it a glass of water mixed with vinegar.
Then shake and empty the boiler, then rinse with

4. MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The system consists of a steam generator with copper boiler of 2,4 lt and a professional iron. For the ironing,
in accordance with the model, it is possible to include a steam generator with an automac relling system.
Along with all BIEFFE steam generators, the boiler is made of copper, the heaters are placed outside the
boiler so that they are not immersed in water, allowing to get rid of wear issues and reducing signicantly
waing mes saving electricity. The best tools on the market as thermostat, pressure switch, safety valve and
pressure gauge, check for the correct funconing of the system automacally.
Before the use we recommend to read carefully all the informaon related to the model in your possession.
Data, descripons and illustraons in the following leaet are not binding. BIEFFE reserves the right to make
any necessary modicaons.
5. REGULAR MAINTENANCE: EMPTYING/CLEANING OF THE BOILER
ATTENTION: BEFORE DRAINING THE WATER FROM THE BOILER, UNPLUG THE MACHINE AND UNSCREW
BY HALF A TURN THE SACURITY TAP TO RELEASE THE REMAINING PRESSURE AND HEATH FROM THE
BOILER.
»Wait for the boiler to be cool and the pressure gauge to show “0”, open carefully the sacurity tap a
turn upside down the steam generator to let the water out. Do this operaon on a sink or another water
container.
»To carry out an extraordinary cleaning, pour into the boiler a glass of vinegar and water. Then shake
the steam generator and empty the boiler and rinse with only water. Do not use any an-limescale pro-
duct.
THIS OPERATION MUST BE DONE DEPENDING ON THE USE OF THE MACHINE, AT LEAST ONCE A MON-
TH. IF NOT, THE GUARANTEE WILL DECAY.
6. USABLE WATER
“Boiler volume” means: volume of usable water + steam chamber.
It is normal that the quanty of water inside the boiler is smaller than the boiler volume.

7. INSTALLATION AND ACTIVATION
ATTENTION: read and follow carefully all the safety instrucons previusly reported, pay aenon to
the instrucons about the electrical system to which the appliance is connected.
»Before starng, ensure that the boiler contains water. Before lling the boiler unplug the machine
from the socket.
Do not unscrew the security tap (2) before ensuring that the machine is not connected to the electric
outlet. If the boiler is hot and pressured unscrew the tap very slowly.
»Unscrew by half-a-turn the tap (2) to get rid of residual pressure and heat inside the boiler. When the
boiler is cool, unscrew carefully the tap and add tap-water using a funnel.
WATER MUST NOT BE DISTILLED AND/OR DEMINERALIZED. While lling the boiler, be careful not to let
water out from the inlet, at the end of the operaon close the tap not too ghtly. Some water drops
may come out from the iron together with the steam.
7.1 USE
»Insert the power cord to the socket.
»Acvate the general switch/electro iron (4) and boiler switch (5). To iron without steam is on ciente
acvate only the switch (4).
»Place the thermostat knob (5) in the electro-iron on the temperature desired.
»Temperature regulaon is approximate. Test the temperature on one part hidden of the garment to
be ironed. The regulaon for the electric iron steam is indicated by the symbol ".." or higher. With high
temperatures you risk to burn ssues or get the unwanted and eo shiny. These problem can be solved
using angloss teon insoles.
»Before you start ironing, wait for the steam ready ligth (7) be lit. During the ironing, the steam ready
ligth will turn on and o according to the pressure inside the boiler.
»To dispense steam press the red buon (8) on the electro-iron handle. The rst me direct the steam
jet away, towards a safe direcon, and press the red buon several mes to eliminate any condensaon.
»At the end of the ironing deacvate all switches. It is not necessary drain the boiler from the remai-
ning water.
»When the electric iron dispenses very lile steam, turn o all switches. Open with cauon the safety
cap to discharge the remaining pressure. Wait 5 minutes that the boiler cools down and ll it according to
instrucons.
