READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
1. Use a flat blade screwdriver to carefully remove all fasteners from the plasc cover on the top or the radiator,
between the radiator and the grille. Also remove the lower splash guard under the vehicle. NOTE: Pay close
aenon to the type and locaon of all factory fasteners to make reinstallaon easier. Move the (2) plasc
covers to clean, stable work area.
2. Select the driver side Frame Mounng Bracket and insert it into posion above the crossmember. Line up the
rear mounng hole with the factory hole in the frame and temporarily bolt the Bracket into posion with the
included (1) 10mm x 25mm Hex Bolt, (2) 10mm x 20mm Flat Washers and (1) 10mm Nylon Lock Nut, (Figure 1).

Do not ghten hardware at this me. Line up the forward hole with the hole in the lower radiator core support.
Insert the (1) 10mm Nut plate in from behind the crossmember and line up the threaded hole with the hole in
the crossmember. Bolt the Bracket to the crossmember with the included (1) 10mm x 40mm Hex Bolt, (1) 10mm
x 30mm OD Large Flat Washer and (1) 10mm Lock Washer, (Figure 2). Repeat this step to install the passenger
side Frame Bracket. Do not ghten hardware at this me.
3. With both Frame Mounng Brackets temporarily in place, hold the plasc lower splash guard up in posion and
mark the areas on the splash guard that must be removed to clear the (2) Frame Mounng Brackets, (Figure 3).
For a proper fit and to maintain strength, make several small cuts and only remove enough material to clear the
Brackets. Once the splash guard has been modified and the fit checked for clearance with the Brackets, (Figure
4), remove the (2) Brackets and reinstall the splash guard. NOTE: Do not install the two rear fasteners pictured in
Figure 3.
Do not attempt to install the bolt if it is longer than 40mm (1 -9/16”), doing so will cause damage to the radiator. Use
Large Flat Washers if necessary to p revent the Hex Bolt from coming in contact with radiator

4. Slide the Driver Side Mounng Bracket through the slot cut in the middle of the splash guard and posion the
Bracket up to the front mounng locaon. Bolt the Bracket in posion as described in Step 3.Repeat this step
for passenger side Mounng Bracket installaon. Snug but do not ghten hardware at this me.
5. Select the driver side Top Bracket and slide it through the opening in the factory grille, (Figure 5).
6. Bolt the Top Bracket to the exisng hole on the top radiator support with the included (1) 8mm x 25mm Hex
Bolt, (2) 8mm Flat Washers and (1) 8mm Nylon Lock Nut, (Figure 5). Do not ghten hardware at this me.
Repeat this step for driver side Top Bracket installaon.
7. With assistance, posion the Grille Guard up to the inside of the Mounng Brackets. Aach the Grille Guard to
the Mounng Brackets with the included (4) 12mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (8) 12mm Flat Washers and (4) 12mm
Nylon Lock Nuts, (Figure 6). Do not ghten hardware at this me.
8. Align hole in the passenger side Top Bracket with hole in the Grille Guard plate. Aach the Top Bracket to the
Grille Guard with the included (1) 10mm x 25mm Buon Head Allen Bolt, (2) 10mm Flat Washers and (1) 10mm
Nylon Lock Nut, (Figure 7). Repeat this step for driver side Top Bracket installaon. Do not ghten hardware at
this me.

9. Level and adjust the Grille Guard and ghten all hardware.
10. Carefully place the plasc top radiator cover in posion and mark the areas that will need to be cut from the
plasc cover to clear the (2) Top Brackets. Once properly trimmed, reinstall the plasc cover using the original
hardware.
11. Do periodic inspecons to the installaon to make sure that all hardware is secure and ght.

Complete Installation
Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product aer installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a
protecve layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that
could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild
soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black nishes
: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
