Before starting assembly : Writing the number of each section on its back side
before cutting out the sections is highly recommended.
(* This way, you can be sure which section is which even after cutting out
the sections.)

Make a mountain fold.

Glue spot(Red dot)
Glue parts with the same number together.

Glue within the same part.

shows where to apply the glue.
Tools and materials
Assembly tip
Caution
Scissors, set square, glue(We recommend stick glue), pencil, used
ballpoint pen, toothpicks, tweezers, (useful for handling small parts)
Before gluing, crease the paper along mountain fold and valley
fold lines and make sure rounded sections are nice and stiff.
Glue, scissors and other tools may be dangerous to young children
so be sure to keep them out of the reach of young children.

Assembly Instructions : Seven A4 sheets (No. 1 to No. 7)
* When you turn the handle,
the sea lions flip the ball
resting on the clown's feet
back and forth to each other
continually in coordinated
motion.
*Hint: Trace along the folds with a ruler
and an exhausted pen (no ink) to get a sharper, easier fold.
* Build the model by carefully reading the Assembly Instructions , in the parts sheet page order.
Glue part 8 to the corner on the rear side
of part 9, matching the arrow on part 8
with the corner.
Roll part 6 into a cylinder and glue it in place
as shown in the illustration.
Note : At this stage, do not assemble these parts
into a box shape yet.

Apply glue to the rear side
and fold along the mountain
fold line, making sure that
areas around the cut-in lines
are glued tight.
Glue part 16 in place
so that part 15 is inserted
into it.
Shape this part so that
it is entirely flat.
Glue parts 11 and 12 to the rear side of part 10, on top of the cut-in line.
Connect part 13 to part 10 as shown in the illustration.
Glue only one end of part 14 in place first.
(This will serve as the central axis for the model's
mechanism.)
Note : Leave this area as is for now. Do not glue it yet.

Glue the other end of part 14 in place.
Note : At this stage, do not assemble parts 1, 5, and 9,
which you have already glued into place,
into a box shape yet.
Note : Look closely at the illustration to
make sure you do not
reverse the front
and rear sides.
* Using an empty box or a similar item
for a base makes it easier to work
with this model when it is upside down.

Use a round bar to give this
piece a nice cylindrical shape.
Reinforce the gaps from the outside
by using a scrap of paper or another
utensil to apply glue to them.
Note : Shape this piece so that the crank
will not become warped.
Glue both sides of the box in place.

Turn the handle at this point
to check the movement.
Assemble both of the two part
25s and glue them in place.

Curl the clown.

Glue together the rear sides of these parts
with matching symbols printed on them.
Use a round bar or other utensil
to curl the belt completely.
Using a scrap of paper or other utensil
to apply the glue, attach the belt to
the ball so that the stars on the belt line
up with the lines on the ball.
Reinforce the rear side of part
37 (48) in the positions shown
in the illustration.
Combine this part
with part 33 (44).
* Part numbers for the sea lion in the yellow vest are shown in parentheses.
Assemble both sea lions in the same way.

After attaching the sea lion to part 15,
glue part 26 (27) into place inserted into it.
* Part numbers for the sea lion wearing the yellow vest are shown in parentheses.
Assemble both sea lions in the same way.
Finished!
Glue the sea lions' front and rear feet in place,
looking closely at the photograph of the
completed model to make sure you
position them at the correct angles.
