(ROPS)forpullingpurposes,asthemachinecouldtipover.Whendrivingthroughdooropeningsor
underlowoverheadobjects,makesurethereissufcientclearancefortheROPS.

Yourtractorisdesignedandmadetopull,tocarry,andtopoweravarietyofmountedortowedequipment,although
withinsomephysicallimits.Theworkingspeedandperformancemaydependonanumberofvariousparameters,
suchasweatherandterrainconditions.Thoughthetractorisdesignedtoperformincombinationwithavarietyof
equipmentinmostcropsandconditions,theremaybeanumberofcombinationsofaboveparameters,forwhichthere
isseveredegradationofperformanceofthetractorand/oritsmountedortrailedequipment.Ifyounoticedegradation

roll-overofthetractor.Alwayscheckouttheconditionandcarryingcapacityofbridgesandrampspriortoengage.
•Donotusethetractorwithoutwearingtheseatrestraintsystemduringactivitieswhereroll-overortip-overhazards
exist.TheRollOverProtectionStructure(ROPS)caborROPSstructurewillonlybefullyeffectivewhenthedriver
remainsattachedtohisseat.
•Donotuseequipmentmountedonthetractorwhichisnotcorrectlymatchingandrmlyxed.Suchequipmentmay
increasetheriskforroll-overandhitthetractorwhencomingloose.Ensurethatthedimensionsofthethree-point
linkageinterfaceofboththetractorandtheequipmentarematchingaccordingtothecategoriesdenedinISO
730.EnsurethatthedimensionsandspeedofthePowerT ake-Off(PTO)shaftonthetractorsarematchingthose
oftheequipment.
•Donotusethetractorincombinationwithequipment,withouthavingconsultedthespecicoperator’smanual
providedwiththeequipment.Thetractorisauniversaltooltocarry,tow,anddriveavarietyofequipment.This
manualalonecannotprovideyouwithalltheinformationrequiredforthesafeoperationofthecombination.
•Donotusethetractorbeyonditslimitsofdynamicstability.Highspeed,abruptmaneuvers,andfastandshort
corneringwillincreasetheriskofroll-over.
•Donotusethetractorforpullingwork,incaseswhereyoudonotknowwhethertheloadwillyield,forinstance
whenpullingstumps.Thetractormayipoverwhenthestumpisnotyielding.
•Becautiousthatthecenterofgravityofthetractormayincreasewhenloadsonthefront-endloaderorthethree-
pointlinkageareraised.Intheseconditions,thetractormayroll-overearlierthanexpected.
•DonotstepdownfromthetractorwithoutshuttingdownthePTO,shiftingthetransmissiontoparkorneutraland
applyingtheparkbrake,unlesscontinuedPTOoperationisrequiredforsomeequipment,suchaspumpsorwood
chippers.Thelatterequipmentmayhaveanemergencystopdeviceontheequipmentitself,ashumanintervention
isneededduringoperation.Butotherequipment,engagedanddrivenbythetractorwillhavenomeanstostopthe
powertransmission,otherthanthePTOclutchofthetractor.
•Youshalltakethenecessaryprecautionstoalwaysbeawareofthepossiblepresenceofbystanders,certainlywhen
maneuveringinconnedareas,suchasthefarmyardandsheds.Keeppeopleawayfromthetractorduringwork;
askbystanderstoleavetheeld.Thereisnotonlytherisktobeoverrunbythetractor,butobjectsejectedbysome

equipmentmountedonthetractor,suchasarotarymower,maycauseharm.Stonesmaybethrownfurtherthan
themowedcrop.Paythenecessaryattentionwhileoperatingnexttopublicroadsorfootpaths.Thrownobjects
cangetprojectedoutsidetheeldandhitunprotectedpeoplelikebikersorpedestrians.Waittocuttheedgeofthe
eldtillitisclearofbystanders.
•Donotallowridersonthetractor;donotallowpeoplestandingontheaccesswayorsteptothecabwhenthe
tractorismoving.Yourviewtotheleftwillbeobstructedandariderriskstofallfromthetractorduringunforeseen
orabruptmovements.
•Alwaysstayclearfromimplementsoperatingareaandespeciallydonotstandbetweentractorandtrailedvehicle
eitherthree-pointlinkagewhenoperatingliftcontrols;ensurenobystandersareneartheseoperatingareas.
•Yourtractormaybeequippedwithanumberofsensorstocontrolsafetyfunctions.Trippingthesesensorswillresult
inasafeoperationmode.Donotattempttobypassanyfunctiononthetractor.Youwillbeexposedtoserious
hazards,andmoreover,thebehaviorofthetractormaybecomeunpredictable.
•Atractorhasonlyoneoperatorstationandisaonemanoperatedvehicle.Otherpeopleonoraroundthetractor
duringnormaloperationarenotallowed.
•Allpersonswhowillbeoperatingthismachineshallpossessavalidlocalvehicleoperatingpermitand/orother
applicablelocalageworkpermits.
•Themachineisdesignedandproducedexclusivelyforagriculturaluse.
•Themachineisnotdesignedforlight/heavyforestryapplications;usageisprohibitedforforestryapplications.

Yourwarrantyrightsandobligations
TheCaliforniaAirResourcesBoard(CARB),U.S.EnvironmentalProtectionAgency(EPA),andLSMtronLtd.(LS
Mtron)arepleasedtoexplaintheemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyonyour2017-2018modelyearengine.New
enginesmustbedesigned,builtandequippedtomeetstringentanti-smogstandards.LSMtronmustwarrantthe
emissioncontrolsystemonyourenginefortheperiodsoftimelistedbelowprovidedtherehasbeennoabuse,neglect
orimpropermaintenanceorusageofyourengine.Additionalconditionsandresponsibilitiesarefurtheroutlinedbelow.
Whereawarrantableconditionexists,LSMtronwillrepairyourengineatnocosttoyouincludingdiagnosis,parts
andlabor.
MANUFACTURER’SLIMITEDWARRANTYCOVERAGE:
LSMtronwarrantstotheoriginalowner,andtoeachsubsequentownerofanewdieselengine,thattheemission
controlsystemofyourengine:
1.Wasdesigned,builtandequippedsoastoconformatthetimeofsalewithallapplicableregulationsofCARBand
EPA.
2.Isfreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipwhichwillcausesuchenginetofailtoconformwithapplicable
regulationsforthefollowingwarrantyperiod:
○Forenginesratedatorabove19kW(25Hp):ve(5)yearsor3,000hoursofoperation,whicheveroccursrst.
Thewarrantyperiodshallbegin:
•Onthedatetheequipmentisrstdeliveredtotherstretailpurchaser,or;
•Iftheequipmentisplacedinservicefordemonstrationpurposespriortosaleatretail,onthedatetheengineisrst
placedinservice.
TheemissioncontrolsystemsofyournewLSMtronengineweredesigned,builtandtestedusinggenuineLSMtron
parts,andtheengineiscertiedasbeinginconformitywithCARBandEPAemissioncontrolregulations.Accordingly,
itisrecommendedthatanyreplacementpartsusedformaintenance,repair,orreplacementofemissioncontrolsys-
temsmustbeLSMtronparts.Anyreplacementpartmaybeusedintheperformanceofanymaintenanceorrepairs
andwillbeprovidedwithoutchargetotheowner,althoughLSMtronrecommendsthattheownerobtainassurance
thatsuchpartsarewarrantedbytheirmanufacturerandLSMtrontobeequivalenttogenuineLSMtronparts.Such
useshallnotreducethewarrantyobligationsofLSMtron,providedtheyarewarrantedtobeequivalenttogenuine
LSMtronparts.
Anywarrantedpartwhichisnotscheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenanceshallbewarrantedforthewar-
rantyperioddenedabove.Ifanysuchpartfailsduringtheperiodofwarrantycoverage,andprovidedthatthere
hasbeennoabuse,neglectorimpropermaintenanceorusageofyourengine,itwillberepairedorreplacedunder
warranty.Anysuchpartrepairedorreplacedunderthewarrantyshallbewarrantedfortheremainingwarrantyperiod.
Anywarrantedpartwhichisscheduledonlyforregularinspectioninthewritteninstructionsshallbewarrantedforthe
warrantyperioddenedabove,providedthattherehasbeennoabuse,neglectorimpropermaintenanceorusageof
yourengine.Astatementinthewritteninstructionstotheeffectof"repairorreplaceasnecessary"shallnotreducethe
periodofwarrantycoverage.Anysuchpartrepairedorreplacedunderwarrantyshallbewarrantedfortheremaining
warrantyperiod.
Anywarrantedpartwhichisscheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenanceshallbewarrantedfortheperiodof
timepriortotherstscheduledreplacementpointforthatpart.Ifthepartfailspriortotherstscheduledreplacement,
thepartshallberepairedorreplacedbyLSMtronunderwarranty,providedthattherehasbeennoabuse,neglector
impropermaintenanceorusageofyourengine.Anysuchpartrepairedorreplacedunderwarrantyshallbewarranted
fortheremainderoftheperiodpriortotherstscheduledreplacementpointforthepart.
LSMtronprovideswarrantyservicesorrepairsatallmanufacturerdistributioncenters(warrantystations)thatare
franchisedtoservicethesubjectengines.PleaseseetheCustomerAssistancesectionofthisstatementforhelpin
locatingsuchservicecenters.Repairorreplacementofanywarrantedpartunderwarrantyshallbeperformedatno
chargetotheowneratawarrantystation.

Theownerwillnotbechargedfordiagnosticlaborthatleadstothedeterminationthatawarrantedpartisinfact
defective,providedthatsuchdiagnosticworkisperformedatawarrantystation.
LSMtronisliablefordamagestootherenginecomponentsproximatelycausedbyafailureunderwarrantyofany
warrantedpart.
LSMtronisrequiredbyCaliforniaregulationstomaintainasupplyofwarrantedpartssufcienttomeettheexpected
demandforsuchpartsduringthewarrantyperiodfortheenginescoveredbythiswarranty.
OWNER’SWARRANTYRESPONSIBILITIES:
Thisengineisdesignedtooperateonultralowsulfurdieselfuelonly.Useofanyotherfuelmayresultinthisengine
nolongeroperatingincompliancewithCARBorEPA’semissionsrequirements.
Thepurchaserisresponsibleforinitiatingthewarrantyprocess.YoumustpresenttheenginetoaLSMtrondealer
assoonasaproblemexists.Thewarrantyrepairsshouldbecompletedbythedealerasexpeditiouslyaspossible.
Useofanyadd-onormodiedpartsthatarenotexemptedfromanti-tamperinglawsbyCARBorEPAmayreduce
oreliminateyourwarrantycoverage.Theuseofanynon-exemptedadd-onormodiedpartsshallbegroundsfor
disallowingawarrantyclaim.LSMtronisnotliableforfailuresofwarrantedpartscausedbytheuseofanon-exempted
add-onormodiedpart.
TheemissionscontrolpartscoveredbythisLimitedEmissionControlSystemWarrantyarelistedunder“Whatis
coveredbytheLimitedEmissionControlSystemWarranty.”Youareresponsiblefortheperformanceofallscheduled
maintenanceorrepairsonyournewLSMtronengine.LSMtronmaydenyawarrantyclaimiffailuretoperform
maintenanceresultsinthefailureofawarrantedpart.Receiptscoveringtheperformanceofregularmaintenance
shouldberetainedintheeventofquestionsariseconcerningmaintenance.Thereceiptsshouldbetransferredto
eachsubsequentowneroftheequipmentwiththeemissionwarrantedengines.

Thiswarrantydoesnotcover:
1.Malfunctionsinanypartcausedbyanyofthefollowing:misuse,abuse,improperadjustments,modications,
alteration,tampering,disconnection,improperorinadequatemaintenance,oruseoffuelsnotrecommendedfor
theengineasdescribedintheMaintenanceManual.
2.Damageresultingfromaccident,actsofnatureorothereventsbeyondthecontrolofLSMtron.
3.Thereplacementofexpendablemaintenanceitemssuchasexhaustsystem,lters,hoses,belts,oil,thermostat,
andcoolantmadeinconnectionwithscheduledmaintenanceservicesoncethesepartshavebeenreplaced.
4.ReplacementitemswhicharenotgenuineLSMtronpartsornotauthorizedbyLSMtron.
5.Lossoftime,inconvenience,lossofuseofequipment,engineorcommercialloss.
WhatiscoveredbytheLimitedEmissionControlSystemWarranty
ThefollowingisalistofsystemsandpartsthatareconsideredapartoftheEmissionControlSystemandarecov-
eredbytheLimitedEmissionControlSystemWarrantyforengineswhichwerebuilttoconformtoCARBandEPA
regulations:
IMPORTANT!Thismaynotincludeexpendablemaintenanceitemssuchasnozzleassembliesandrubberanges.
Emissionrelatedpartsrequiringscheduledmaintenancearewarranteduntiltheirrstscheduledreplacementpoint
only.
