Intendeduse
TheintendeduseofT9.seriestractorswithstandard
equipmentandauthorizedattachmentsisforcustomary
farming,landleveling,andrelatedagriculturaloperations.
Standardequipmentincludesrear-drawbartowedimple-
mentsandhitch-mountedimplementsfortillage,planting,
seeding,andhauling.YouoraNEWHOLLANDautho-
rizeddealermustinstallattachmentsforagriculturalliquid
chemicalapplicationinawaythatdoesnotimpairthesafe
operationofthetractor.Compliancewithandstrictadher-
encetotheconditionsofoperation,service,andrepair,as
speciedbyNEWHOLLAND,andincludingconditionsas
toinspection,cleaningandmaintenance,constitutees-
sentialelementsoftheintendeduse.
ThecabonthistractorisaCategory2cab(EN15695-1)
andtheapplicationofplantprotectionproductsisnotpart
oftheintendeduseofthistractor,unlessthemanufacturer
ofthechemicalproductrecommendstheuseofpersonal
protectiveequipmentasappropriateandsufcientprotec-
tionwithrespecttotheirproduct.
NEWHOLLANDdoesnotintendfortheuseofthistrac-
torforforestryworkorwithloaders.Thecabonthis
tractordoesnotoffersufcientprotection.NEWHOL-
LANDdoesnotapprovetheinstallationoruseofunau-
thorizedframe-mountedorotherattachments.Noattach-
mentshouldbeusedinamannerthatwouldbeground
engagingorforpushinganythingotherthanloosema-
terial(i.e.silage,compost,snow).YouoraNEWHOL-
LANDauthorizeddealermustinstallattachmentsinaway
thatdoesnotimpairthesafeoperationofthetractor.The
tractorwarrantywillnotcoveranytractordamagethatre-
sultsfromtheinstallationand/oruseofsuchequipment.

tionsthatthistractormayrequiretocomplywithvarious

Thismanualprovidesinformationontheintendeduseof

Normaloperationisuseofthetractorforthepurposein-
tendedbythemanufacturerbyanowner/operatorwhois

thedecalsonthetractorandtheequipment.
Normaloperationincludessuchactionsaspreparingthe
tractorforstorageandremovingthetractorfromstorage,
addingorremovingballast,connectinganddisconnect-
ingmountedortowedequipment,raisingandlowering
componentsintooroutofworkposition,adjustingtractor
settingsforspeciceldorcropsettings,etc.
Routineserviceandmaintenancearethoseactionswhich
mustbeperformeddailytomaintainpropertractorfunc-
tionbyanowner/operatorwhoisfamiliarwithtractorchar-
acteristics,andwhoiscomplyingwiththeinformationon
routineserviceandsafepracticesinthismanualandin
thedecalsonthetractor.
Routineserviceandmaintenanceincludessuchactions
asfueling,cleaning,washing,toppingoffuidlevels,
greasing,andreplacingconsumablearticlessuchas
lampbulbs.
Periodicserviceandmaintenancearethoseactions
whichmustbeperformedatregularlydenedintervals
tomaintainpropertractorfunctionbyanowner/operator
whoisfamiliarwithtractorcharacteristics,andwhois
complyingwiththeinformationonperiodicserviceand

pairstobecarriedoutbyprofessionalservicepersonnel.
Theseactionsrequirespecialfacilities,technicalskills,
and/ortoolswhicharenotsuppliedwiththemachine.
Convertingischangingthetractorcongurationfora
speciccroporsoilconditionandrequiresrebuildingor
addingcomponentstothevehicle:forexample,instal-
lationofdualwheels.Repairingisthedisassemblyand
assemblyofthetractortorestoreproperoperationafter
acomponentfailureordegradationofperformance.

ThismachinecompliesstrictlywiththeEuropeanRegulationsonelectro‐magneticemissions.However,interference
mayariseasaresultofadd‐onequipmentwhichmaynotnecessarilymeettherequiredstandards.Assuchinterfer-
encecanresultinseriousmalfunctionoftheunitand/orcreateunsafesituations,youmustobservethefollowing:
•Ensurethateachpieceofnon‐NEWHOLLANDequipmentttedtothemachinebearstheCEmark.
•Themaximumpowerofemissionequipment(radio,telephones,etc.)mustnotexceedthelimitsimposedbythe
