SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the following instructions carefully and keep this
instruction manual for future reference or new users.
-All safety instructions should be closely followed when
using the device.
-Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage
stated on the rating label of the device.
-Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part
of the device in water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are
dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
-If the device falls accidentally in water, unplug it immediately.
Do not reach into the water!
-Do not operate the device empty or overloaded.
-Do not heat the appliance in the microwave or in the oven,
nor leave it in the fridge or refrigerator.
-Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than its
intended use.
-The device will only work if it is correctly assembled.
-Do not use the device to grind hard foodstuff like rice or
frozen meat.

-Do not touch the device while it is operating.
-Do not run the device for more tan 30 seconds in a row.
After 30 seconds of operation, let it cool down for 2 minutes
before using it again.
-Turn the device off before opening it. Do not open the device
until the motor and blades stop moving.
-Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the ofcial Technical
Support Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type of
danger.
-Do not use the device ifits cord, plug, orhousing is damaged,
nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged
in any way.
-Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord in any
way. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not
let it touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the
edge of the working surface or countertop.
-The device is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
-In the event of an abnormal power cut-off, let the device
cool for 20-30 minutes before using it again.
-The device can be cleaned with water up to 100 ºC.
-Turn off and unplug the device from the mains supply when
not in use and before cleaning. Pull from the plug, not the
cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.
-The device is not dishwasher-safe.
-Do not clean the device with any abrasive cleaning agent.
-This device is intended for domestic use only. It is not
suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not use it
outdoors.
-Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended
by the manufacturer, as they might cause injuries or damage.

-This device is not intended to be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device
in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety, and
understand the hazards involved.
-The device is not intended to be used by children under the
age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of 8, as long
as they are given continuous supervision.
-Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children under
the age of 8.
-Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play
with the device. Close supervision is necessary when the
device is being used by or near children.
-Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by
children.

2. BEFORE USE
- Take the product out of the box.
- Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
- Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise, contact
immediately the ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
3. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
1. Before using it, clean any part that can come into contact with the food.
2. Take out the mini chopper and all the other accessories and clean them with water. Then,
use a wet cloth to clean the motor unit.
3. Place the anti-slip mat on a at surface and then assemble the chopper’s bowl on it. Fig. 2
4. Assemble the shaft to the main unit and add the food inside. Fig. 3
5. Cover the main unit with the lid. Fig. 4
6. Assemble the motor inside the chopper. The blades’ shaft should be aligned with the hole
in the middle of the main unit. Fig. 5

- To assemble it, place the side blade on the main blade and turn it anticlockwise. Then,
remove its protective cover.
- To disassemble it, turn the side blade clockwise from the main unit.
- The blades are very sharp, handle them with care.
4. OPERATION
- The device has 2 speed levels and 2 blades.
- After assembling the device correctly, plug the device in and press the level I or level II
button. The device will start operating.
- We recommend using the rst level for soft food (like vegetables) and level II for hard food
(like meat, carrots, bread or ice).
- When the user stops pressing the level I or level II button, the device will stop operating.
- Do not run the device for more than 30 seconds.
- When the blade stops spinning, move out the main unit and open the lid. Remove the
chopping blade and take out the food with a spatula.
- If the food is stuck on the bowl, switch the device off and unplug it. Then, use a spatula to
remove the stuck food and switch the device on again.
- If, after 30 seconds of operation, you are not getting the result you wanted, switch the
device off and wait for 2 minutes. Then, switch it on again.
Meat-mincing method
Choose between the rst and second blade, or both. When the blade is assembled inside the
bowl, remove any bone the meat might before introducing it inside the bowl. Cut the food into
1-2 cm pieces and add them to the bowl. Do not exceed the mark on the bowl.
Fruits/vegetables-chopping method
Choose both blades. Install them in the bowl. Cut the vegetables and fruits to 1-2 cm pieces.
The length of the pieces should not exceed 2-3 cm. Do not exceed 4/5 of the bowl.
Warnings
- There are two marks on the sides of the blades. If the two marks are not aligned properly,
it means theyare not correctly assembled. Ifyou start operating the device withthe blades
not on position, it may hurt the user.
- Before switching on the device place it on a at surface.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cooldown before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product’s surface. Do not immerse the motor in water.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
- Wash the removable parts with soap and warm water. Rinse well and let dry.
- The motor is not dishwasher-safe, but the parts which do not have electrical components
are.
- The cutting edges of the blades are very sharp, clean them carefully.
- Dry the device and components before assembling them back.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Solution

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE), species that old household electrical appliances must
not be disposed ofwith the normalunsorted municipal waste. Old appliances
must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling
of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and
the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your
obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses
batteries, they should be removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the
correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

9. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof
of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given
proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
- The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten,
exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault
attributable to the customer.
- The product has been disassembled, modied, or repaired by persons, not authorised by
the ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
- Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based
on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not
apply.
