1 The Basics
1.1 OYeMew
Thank you for choosing the GSM/GPRS digital mobile phone. Afrer reading this
guide you will be able to fully master the use of your phone and appreciate all its
functions and ease of use.
Not only does the smartphone provide you with basic €ll functions such as €ll
Register, but also with many practi€l functions and seryices, to improve the time you
spend rcrking and playing.
The color screen mobile phone complies with the GSM/GPRS ttrhnology md hs bem

The availability of some seryices and features described in this manual depends on
the network and your subscription. Therefore, some menu items may not be available in
your phone. The shortcuts to menus and featurB may also vary from phone to phone.

r lf your mobile phone is lost or stolen, please @ntact the telecommunications
authorities or a sales agent immediately to have a hold on the phone and the
SIM €rd. This will prevent e@nomic loss caused by unauthorized calls made
from your mobile phone.
r When you contact the telecommunications authorities or a sales agent, they will
need to know the lMEl number of our mobile phone (remove battery to expose
number lo@ted on the label on back of phone). Please copy this number and
keep in a safe pla@ for future use.
r ln order to avoid the misuse of your mobile phone please take the following
preventative measures:
- Set the PIN number of your mobile phones SIM erd and change this
number immediately if it becomes known to a third party.
- Please keep the phone out of sight when leaving it in a vehicle. lt is best
to carry the phone with you, or lock it in the trunk.
- Set call bming.

Before using your mobile phone, read and understand the following notices carefully
to ensure you will use it safely and properly.
1.3.1 General attention
r Only the battery and battery charger specified by our company should be
used in your phone. Other products might result in battery leakage,
overheating, fire or explosion.
r To avoid your phone malfunctioning, or €tching fire, please do not violently

impact, jolt or throw your phone.
t Please do not pla@ the battery mobile phone, or charger in a microwave
oven or high-pressure equipment. Otheruise it could lead to unexpected

r Please do not use your phone near flammable or explosive gases, otheMise
it could @use malfunction of your phone or fiE haard.
r Please do not subject your phone to high tempemtures, high humidity ordusty
pla@s; otheruise this may lead to the malfunction of your phone.

I To avoid your phone falling and malfunctioning or being damaged, pleas do
not pla@ it on uneven or unstable surfaces.
1,3.2 Notices when using your phone
I Turn off your mobile phone where the phone is not allored, such as, on the
airplane or in hGpitals. Using the mobile phone in those pla@s may impact
the normal opeEtion of electronic devi@s and medical instruments. Follow
relevant regulations when using your mobile phone in those places. Your
mobile phone has the auto turn-on feature. Check your alam clock settings to
confhm that your mobile phone will not be turned on automatically during
flight.
r Please do not use your mobile phone near the reak signal or high precision
electronic devi@s. RF interferen@ might €us malfunctioning of such
electronic devi@s and other problems. Special tips must be paid near the
. followjng equipment hearing aids, pae makeE and other medi@l electronic
devices, fire detectore, automatic dooc and other aulomatic @ntrol
installations. To find out the effect of mobile phones on a pa@maker or other

I Please do not subject the LCD to impact or use the screen to strike things, as
this will damage the LCD board and Buse l@kage of the liquid crystal. There
is a risk of blindness if the liquid cn tal substan@ gels into the eyes. lf this

Do not disassmble or modify your mobile phone, as it will lead to damage to

other malfunction.
1.3.3 Notices when using the battery
I The battery has a limited servi@ life. The remaining life gets shorter as the
times of charging increase. lf the battery becomes feeble even after the
charging, this indicates the seryi@ life is over and you have to use a new
battery
r Do not dispos of old batteries with everyday domestic garbage. please
dispose of old batteries at the directed pla@s with specific rules for their
disposal.
r Please do not throw batteries into a fire, as this will cause the batter to €tch
fire and explode.
r When installing the battery do not use for@ or pEssure, as this will €use the
battery to leak, overheat, crack and @tch fire.
r Please do not use wires, needles or othe. metal objeets to short-circuit the
battery. Also, do not put the battery near neckla@s or other metal objects, as
this will cause the baftery to leak, overheat, cmck and €tch fire.
r Pbase do not solder the contact points of the battery as this will cause the
batteryto leak, overheat, cEck and catch fire.
lf the liquid in the batteries goes into the eyes, there is a risk of blindness. lf
this occurs do not rub the eyes, but immediately rinse eyes with clear reter
and go to the hospital for treatment.

Please do not use or plae the batteries near high temperature pla€s such
as near a fire or heating vessel, as this wjll €use the battery to leak, overheat,
crack and catch fire.
lf the battery overheats, changes @lor, or beomes dislorted during use,
charging, or stomge, please stop using and repla@ it with a new battery
r f the liquid from the battery @mes in contact with skin or clothing this could
cause burning of the skin. lmmediately use clear water to rinse and sek
medical tips if necessary.
r lfthe battery leaks or gives off a strange odo( please remove the batteryfrom
the vicinity of the open fire to avoid a fire or explosion.

overheat, smoke and @rode.
r Please do not use or place batteries in places of high tempemture such as in
direct sunlight, as this will cau* the battery to leak and overheat, lorer

1.3.4 Charging your phone
I Connect the mnnector of charger to the mobile phone. The battery level
indicator flashes on the screen. Even ii the phone has been turned off, the
charging image still appeare, indi€ling that the battery is being charged. lfthe
phone is overused when the current is insufficient, it may iake longer time for
the charging indi€tor to appear on the screen after the charging begins.
r When the battery level indi€tor does notflash and indiGtes the battery is full,
this indi@tes the charging has bren @mpleted. lf the phone is off during
charging, the charging being @mpleled image also appeaE on the screen.
The charging pro@ss often takes 3 to 4 hours. During the charging, the
battery phone and charger gets mm, this is a normal phenomenon.
r Upon the @mpletion of charging, disconnecl the charger from AC power
socket, and from the mobile phone.
r Notes:
I During charging, the phone must be pla@d in rell-ventilated environment of
+ 5C - + 40C. Always use the charger supplied by your phone
manufac'turer Using an unauthorired charger might @us danger and
invalidate the authorization and mrEnty clauses for your phone.
r The standby time and cll duration provided by the manufacturer are based
on ideal operating environmenl. ln practice, the battery's operating time varies
depending on network conditions, operating environment and usage methods.
I Make sure the battery has been installed before charging. lt is best not to
remove the battery while charging.
r Upon @mpletion of charging, disconnect the charger from your phone and
the power supply.
