Components and Accessories
Manufacturer warrants original purchaser twelve months from the date of purchase, the
product shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. During the
warranty period, manufacturer, at its opƟon, repair or replace any defecƟve product upon
return of the product to its factory.
The warranty for internaƟonal customers is the same as for any customers within malaysia,
with the excepƟon that manufacturer shall not be responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or
VAT that may be due.
This warranty applies only to defects in parts and workmanship relaƟng to normal use. It does
not cover:

LIMITED WARRANTY
Manufacturer will at its opƟon repair or replace out-of-warranty products which are
returned to its factory according to the following condiƟons. Anyone returning goods to
Manufacturer must first obtain an authorizaƟon number. Manufacturer will not accept any
shipment whatsoever for which prior authorizaƟon has not been obtained. Product which
Factory determines to be repairable will be repaired and returned. Products which factory
determines not to be repairable will be replaced by the nearest equivalent product available
at that Ɵme. The current market price of the replacement product will be charged for each
replacement unit for the case is defer mines out of warranty.

About Your Security System
WARNING
Remember
The system requires minimum maintenance.
This system is an advanced security system, it does not oer guaranteed protection against
burglary, re or other emergency. Whether commercial or residential.
Intruders may gain access through unprotected openings or have the technical sophistica-
tion to bypass an alarm sensor or disconnect an alarm warning device.
Intrusion detector (e.g. passive infrared detectors), smoke detectors, and any many other
sensing devices will not work without power.
Battery-operated devices will not work without batteries, with dead batteries, or if the
batteries are not put in properly. Some device may have sensing limitations.
Maintenance
1. Do not wash the keypad with a wet cloth. Light dusting with a barely damp cloth should
remove normal accumulations of dust.
2. It is recommended that the standby battery be replaced eyery year.

5.0 Default factory seƫng
a. If any fault step to cause the DSA unable to connect, set to factory default seng is needed.
b. Offthe DSA power, press the reset buon and on the power, connue holding the buon unl the
LED flash then release the buon.
6.0 Security DSA
a. For security purpose, the browser will auto logout to login page aer some me when click any
buon at home alarm panel status and the informaon for zone seng and user password seng will
also in hidden. Because someme, user might forget to logout.

• From the command prompt in Windows, enter "nbtstat -R" to clear the Router previous
network cache. A message will show in command prompt – Successful purge and preload of
the NBT Remote Cache Name Table.
• To do that because, the Router probably assigned the DSA a new IP address, but the cache
name table sll keeps the previous IP address (192.168.1.3).
• Open back the browser and log in back to DSA. Type in hp://defender:8088 and login page
will show (figure 3.0).
• Then access to network configuraon web page, the lasted informaon for the IP address
was shown as below.

figure 10.3, 192.168.1.3 was assign by Router, if user want to use another IP address as staƟc,
192.168.1.10.
• Go to Network ConfiguraƟon (figure 10.0), un-Ɵck the ENABLE DHCP and change the IP Address to
192.168.1.10 and click the Save Config buƩon.
• Reboot message will shown (figure 10.1). PS: Exit (close) the browser without click the link
(hƩp://DEFENDER:8088/).
• Login to Router’s configuraƟon, select DSA Mac address, change the IP address to 192.168.1.10, and
change the status to staƟc. Then click save.
• At computer, open Command Prompt (start->run->key in cmd)

a. Refer to figure 2.0, the DSA’s IP address was assigned by router as 192.168.1.3 in Dynamic DHCP. If users
want to assign 192.168.1.3 as staƟc IP address for DSA:
• Go to Network Seƫng, un-Ɵck the ENABLE DHCP and click Save Config.

Delay - The zone will not cause an alarm during the entry / exit delay me.
Internal - The zone will not cause an alarm during home arm mode.
Instant - The zone will cause an instant alarm when the system is arm.
24 Hour - The zone will acvate all alarm immediately triggered regardless of system arm / disarm.

CMS Account Number - The panel will communicate with Alarm Receiving Center using the account number
CMS Phone Number - The panel can set 2 phone number as primary and secondary. The primary number is the
number that system dialled first (If programmed the secondary telephone number as a backup number for the primary
number)
Change Installer Code - the default installer code is 1397. To change the installer code, the new installer code must
to key in 2 me.
Reset User Code - The panel will delete all the user code. Master code will change to default password, that is ‘1234’
