Part A: Preparing Your Projector
1Locate the antenna in the projector's
accessories box.
2Install the antenna by screwing in the
antenna to the antenna connector on the
back of your projector.
3Connect the power cable to the wall outlet
and press the power button.

This document provides steps to setup wireless networking on your Dell™ 4610X WIRELESS PLUS projector.

Part B: Enable Wireless on the
Projector
4Press the Menu button on your
projector's control panel or the remote
control.
5Access the SET UP menu. The Setup menu
appears.
NOTE: Use , , and buttons to
navigate and 3to select.
6Select the Wireless and Network option.
7Set the yellow highlighted text to On and
press the 3button.

8It is recommended that you use the default
wireless / network settings. Press the 3
button to return to the main menu without
changing settings.
9Access the Input Select menu. The Input
Select menu appears.
10 Select the Wireless / Network option and
press the 3the button.
The projector's Wireless Guide Screen
appears.
11 Make note of the following information
indicated on the Wireless Guide screen.
aProjector's LOGIN CODE:
bProjector's Network Name (SSID):
cProjector's IP Address:

Part C: Install the Dell Wireless
Application Software on Your
Computer
In order to use your projector wirelessly, you must
install the software on your system.
12 Connect your computer to the 4610X
WIRELESS PLUS network.
NOTE: When connected to the 4610X
WIRELESS PLUS network, you will lose
wireless connectivity with other wireless
networks.
NOTE: Remember to turn
off all proxies. (In
Microsoft®Windows Vista: Click Control
Panel JInternet Options JConnections J
LAN Settings)
13 Open your internet browser. You will be
automatically directed to the 4610X
WIRELESS PLUS Web Management web
page.

NOTE: If the web page does not load
automatically, enter the IP address noted
from the projector's screen in the browser's
address bar.
14 The 4610X WIRELESS PLUS Web
Management web page opens. Click on the
Download tab on the left.
15 Select the appropriate operating system and
click the Download button.
16 Click Run to proceed with the one-time
installation of the software. Alternatively, you
may chose to save the file and install it at a
more convenient time.

NOTE: If the following warning messages
appear, please select Run and Allow
respectively. You may require administrator
level access to your computer to install the
software.
17 The installation software will launch. Follow
the instructions on screen.
