Part A: Preparing Your Projector
1Locate the antenna in the projector's
accessories box.
2Install the antenna by screwing in the
antenna to the antenna connector on the
back of your projector.
3Connect the power cable to the wall outlet
and press the power button.

This document provides steps to setup wireless networking on your Dell™ 4610X WIRELESS PLUS projector.

Part B: Enable Wireless on the
Projector
4Press the Menu button on your
projector's control panel or the remote
control.
5Access the SET UP menu. The Setup menu
appears.
NOTE: Use , , and buttons to
navigate and 3to select.
6Select the Wireless and Network option.
7Set the yellow highlighted text to On and
press the 3button.

8It is recommended that you use the default
wireless / network settings. Press the 3
button to return to the main menu without
changing settings.
9Access the Input Select menu. The Input
Select menu appears.
10 Select the Wireless / Network option and
press the 3the button.
The projector's Wireless Guide Screen
appears.
11 Make note of the following information
indicated on the Wireless Guide screen.
aProjector's LOGIN CODE:
bProjector's Network Name (SSID):
cProjector's IP Address:

Part C: Install the Dell Wireless
Application Software on Your
Computer
In order to use your projector wirelessly, you must
install the software on your system.
12 Connect your computer to the 4610X
WIRELESS PLUS network.
NOTE: When connected to the 4610X
WIRELESS PLUS network, you will lose
wireless connectivity with other wireless
networks.
NOTE: Remember to turn
off all proxies. (In
Microsoft®Windows Vista: Click Control
Panel JInternet Options JConnections J
LAN Settings)
13 Open your internet browser. You will be
automatically directed to the 4610X
WIRELESS PLUS Web Management web
page.

NOTE: If the web page does not load
automatically, enter the IP address noted
from the projector's screen in the browser's
address bar.
14 The 4610X WIRELESS PLUS Web
Management web page opens. Click on the
Download tab on the left.
15 Select the appropriate operating system and
click the Download button.
16 Click Run to proceed with the one-time
installation of the software. Alternatively, you
may chose to save the file and install it at a
more convenient time.

NOTE: If the following warning messages
appear, please select Run and Allow
respectively. You may require administrator
level access to your computer to install the
software.
17 The installation software will launch. Follow
the instructions on screen.

Part D: Launch the Application
18 Once the installation is complete, the
program will launch automatically. The
following screen appears.
19 You will be prompted to enter the Login Code
to communicate with your projector. Enter
the code as it appears on the projection
screen.
20 You are now logged into the 4610X
WIRELESS PLUS Wireless Application. You
may use the controls to either project in full
screen mode or in split screen mode.
NOTE: For the best projection performance,
Dell recommends adjusting your resolution
to 1024 x 768.

available on the CD that shipped with your
projector.

1Localice la antena en la caja de accesorios
del proyector.
2Instale la antena atornillándola a su
conector situado en la parte posterior del
proyector.
3Conecte el cable de alimentación a la toma
de corriente eléctrica y presione el botón de
encendido.

Parte B: Habilitar la funcionalidad
inalámbrica en el proyector
4Presione el botón Menú del panel de
control del proyector o del mando a
distancia.
5Obtenga acceso al menú CONFIGURACIÓN.
Aparecerá el menú Configuración.
NOTA: Utilice los botones , , y 
para desplazarse y el botón 3para
seleccionar.
6Seleccione la opción Funcionalidad
inalámbrica y Red.
7Establezca el texto resaltado en amarillo en
ACT y presione el botón 3.

8Es recomendable utilizar la configuración
inalámbrica y de red predeterminada.
Presione el botón 3para volver al menú
principal sin cambiar la configuración.
9Obtenga acceso al menú Selección de
entrada. Aparecerá el menú Selección de
entrada.
10 Seleccione la opción Funcionalidad
inalámbrica/ Red y presione el botón 3.
Aparecerá la pantalla Guía inalámbrica del
proyector.
11 Anote la siguiente información indicada en
esa pantalla.
aCÓDIGO DE INICIO del proyector:
bNombre de red del proyector (SSID):
cDirección IP del proyector

Parte C: Instalar el Software para
aplicaciones inalámbricas Dell
en su PC.
Para utilizar el proyector de forma inalámbrica,
debe instalar el software en el sistema.
12 Conecte el equipo a la red del proyector
4610X WIRELESS PLUS.
NOTA: Cuando se conecte a la red del
proyector 4610X WIRELESS PLUS, perderá la
conectividad inalámbrica con otras redes
inalámbricas.
NOTA: No olvide
apagar todos los proxies.

13 Abra el explorador de Internet.
Automáticamente se le dirigirá a la página
Web Administración Web del proyector
4610X WIRELESS PLUS.

NOTA: Si dicha página no se carga
automáticamente, escriba la dirección IP de
la pantalla del proyector en la barra de
direcciones del explorador.
14 La página Administración Web del proyector
4610X WIRELESS PLUS se abrirá. Haga clic
en la ficha Descargar de la izquierda.
15 Seleccione el sistema operativo apropiado y,
a continuación, haga clic en el botón
Descargar.
16 Haga clic en Ejecutar para continuar con la
instalación de un solo paso del software.
Alternativamente, puede guardar el archivo
e instalarlo en otro momento.

NOTA: Si aparecen los siguientes mensajes
de advertencia, seleccione Ejecutar y
Permitir, respectivamente. Puede que
necesite acceso de administrador en su PC
para instalar el software.
17 El software de instalación se iniciará. Siga
las instrucciones de la pantalla.
