NOTE: When pairing a fob
with a mobile device, take
care that there are no
Switch devices nearby,
otherwise the fob may
accidentally connect to
the wrong device.
Press and hold the fob button for THREE seconds. The fob and mobile device should begin pairing. The fob LED
will appear solid green for ONE second while searching for a device.
Press and hold
the fob button
for THREE
seconds.
NOTE: The mobile
phone that was
used to register
the fob will receive
notifications of
access right
updates. See
Switch

will be provided by the

How To Use The Fob
TURN KNOB TO OPERATE
Fob LED Status:
• Green: Battery OK
• Red: Critical battery,
Fob may be unregistered.
• Yellow: Low battery
• LED Turns Off: The LED will light
once for ONE second and then
turn off.
Press the fob
button once.
TOUCH DEVICE THEN PRESS FOB
BUTTON TO REQUEST ACCESS

Turn the knob to operate the lock.
NOTE:
Granting
access will
engage the
knob with the
lock but does not
physically unlock the lock.
Press the fob button once to request access while the fob
is within the vicinity of the device. The fob LED will appear
solid green for ONE second while searching for a device.
Touch the device (Switch™ Core or Reader).
One or more LEDs will indicate the device is
awake and ready to interact with a fob.

WARNING: The fob contains a CR2032 lithium battery. If the lithium battery is swallowed, it can cause
severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used lithium batteries away
from children. If the fob compartment does not close securely, stop using the fob with the lithium
battery and keep the lithium battery away from children. If you think the lithium battery might have
been swallowed or placed inside of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
WARNING: This product ships with a CR2032 lithium battery. When returning this product, please
follow proper lithium battery shipment guidelines.
If you are unsure of the proper shipping guidelines, please remove the CR2032 lithium battery prior to
shipping. Lithium batteries should never be thrown away or incinerated but disposed of in accordance
with the local regulations concerning battery disposal.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if the lithium battery is incorrectly installed. Only install a
CR2032 lithium battery.
