The ignition must be turned OFF before
installation.
1 Remove the main seat and the passenger seat.
2 Prop the front of the fuel tank up using the
Suzuki prop rod.
3 Route the PCIII USB EX harness from the tail
section towards the engine.
4 Locate the stock, black fuel connector as
shown in Figure A. This connector is located to
the left side of the engine, just inside the frame
rail.
Note: The air box is not shown in Figure A
and B. The air box does NOT need to be
removed to install the PCIII USB EX.
5 Unplug the stock connector.
6 Attach the PCIII USB EX connectors to the
stock connectors as shown in Figure B.
7 Locate the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
connector on the left side of the throttle body.
8 Unplug the connector from the TPS as shown
in Figure C.

9 Attach the connectors from the PCIII USB EX
to the stock connector and the throttle body as
shown in Figure D.
10 Attach the ground wire from the PCIII USB EX
to the negative side of the battery as shown in
Figure E.
11 Install the PCIII USB EX in the tail section. If
you are not going to keep the tool kit then you
can lay the PCIII USB EX flat against the inner
fender or you can mount as shown in Figure F.
12 Bolt the fuel tank back down. Install the main
seat and the passenger seat.
13 Insert the cd provided into your computer’s
cd-rom drive.
14 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the
PCIII USB EX software.
