Please read the instruction manual thoroughly before using your new appliance. It is important
to keep these instructions as a useful reminder that’ll help you enjoy the many features
available.The manufacturer is not responsible if the appliance becomes damaged or defective
as a result of the user not following the information included in the instruction manual. If the
appliance becomes faulty during regular use, it should only be repaired by an authorised
service engineer.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
The following safety instructions must be followed when using the appliance.
Please read this section very carefully!
Of course, it’s not possible for us to anticipate or provide safety rules for every specic situation,
so we ask you to apply commonsense precautions when using the appliance in a situation that
isn’t described below.
• This appliance has been designed for household use only, no other (heavy duty) uses are
permitted.
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
Warning! Never leave the blender unattended - even for a short period - when it's
connected to mains electricity. Always turn o the power when you've nished
using the appliance and then unplug the cable from the mains socket.
• This device is not supposed to be used by physically or mentally handicapped people, or
persons without experience or knowledge (including children, as well), unless such a
person supervises or guides their use of the device, who is at the same time responsible for
their safety. As for children, supervision is recommended to make sure that they do not play
with the device.This device is not supposed to be used by children under the age of 14, not
even with supervision!

• In order to avoid electric shock, never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Never touch the appliance with wet hands. Never allow the wall socket to become wet.You
must have dry hands when you plug the mains connector into the wall socket and when
you unplug it. If any moisture gets inside the appliance, immediately stop using it and take
it to a service engineer for checking or repair.
• Only use the appliance on a stable, level surface. Keep it away from water and make sure it
cannot accidentally slip or fall. If the appliance comes into contact with any kind of
moisture or liquid during use, immediately unplug it from the mains. Do not touch it or
attempt to take it out of the liquid until the mains plug has been removed from the socket.
You must not use the appliance again before having it checked and repaired by a specialist
engineer.
• After use and before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains. Never do
this by pulling on the cable; always take hold of the plug and pull out of the socket. Switch
o the appliance before disconnecting it from the mains.
• Always unplug the blender from the mains socket when adding attachments, removing the
attachments or cleaning it.
• Do not ever attempt to touch or interfere with the mixing blade when it is rotating.
• Never use the blender when it is empty.
• Do not use any attachments or spare parts that are not recommended by the manufacturer
or listed in the instruction manual.This could cause an accident and/or injuries, including
the risk of electric shock or re.
• Never lay the mains cable beside or across sharp edges or hot surfaces. Never wrap the
mains cable around the cover of the appliance, do not pull the cable and do not lift the
appliance with the mains cable because the cable can break or the insulation can be
damaged. A damaged cable must be replaced by an authorised service engineer.The
appliance must not be used or connected to a wall socket if the cable is damaged.
• Don't put the appliance near hot objects (e.g. oven, hob, heating appliance etc.) or on any
hot surface.
• Don’t place the appliance anywhere it could slide down, fall or be knocked o accidentally.
• Don't use the appliance in the presence of explosive or inammable gases, vapours or

liquids.
• Do not allow anything to fall, drop or be pushed into the openings on the base unit because
this could cause injury, such as an electric shock, and may also cause damage to the
appliance. Be careful not to allow hard or other inappropriate items into the mixing jug as
this may also cause an accident or damage.
• Please check the mixing jug is tted properly before using the blender. Never attempt to
remove the mixing jug when the appliance is connected to the mains or is being used.
• Always ensure the motor has stopped and the blades have nished turning before
removing the mixing jug.
• Check that the speed switch is turned o (shown as '0') before connecting the blender to
the mains.
• The mixing jug will hold a maximum 1.5l of liquid. Never ll it above the maximum level
marking on the side of the jug. Reduce the quantity when using particularly thin liquids
(e.g. milk) to avoid them splashing from around the feed opening in the lid.You should
only ll the mixing jug or remove food from it if the blender has been unplugged and the
jug has been removed. (It's not necessary to do this when adding small quantities of
ingredients to food in the jug via the feed opening).
• Only connect the blender to mains electricity when it's been assembled properly. Built-in
protection prevents the appliance from working if the mixing jug isn't xed to the base
unit. Always place the lid on the mixing jug before you start using the appliance.
• The blender is designed for intermittent use. Allow the appliance to rest for at least 10
minutes after using it for a maximum of 60 seconds non-stop.You may damage the blender
if you don't allow it to rest for long enough.
• Do not lengthen or alter the mains cable of the appliance. If you need a longer cable
between the appliance and the wall socket, you should buy a standard extension cord from
an electrical dealer.When using an extension cord, be careful not to create a hazard that
you or someone else could trip over.
• Warning! Disassembling the appliance, opening the casing or attempting to repair it at
home are forbidden - non compliance with this instruction might result in serious
accidents.The inside of the appliance does not contain any parts that can be repaired at
home or used for any other purpose. Never use the appliance with damaged power cable or

connector, if operation is erratic or if it was dropped and is otherwise damaged. If the
appliance has become faulty for any reason or moisture has got inside the casing, take it to
an authorised service engineer for checking or repair. Only skilled experts are authorised to
repair the appliance.The manufacturer is not liable for damages if home repair has been
attempted or the instructions in the operating manual have not been complied with.
Please respect the environment when the appliance reaches the end of its life.
Electrical products must not be disposed of with other residential waste because
they can damage the natural world and may be hazardous to human health.You
should dispose of the appliance at an appropriate recycling site or by using a
collection service that specialises in electrical appliances.
Please keep this instruction manual. If you give the appliance to anyone else,
you must give them this instruction manual, too!

POWER SUPPLY
The appliance must only be connected to mains electricity of 230V and 50Hz.
Always ensure the mains voltage where you’re using the appliance corresponds
to the value shown on the nameplate of the appliance.
USING OF APPLIANCE
Before use
• Unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials.
• Inspect the appliance and the accessories carefully to verify their soundness and
undamaged condition. Only perfectly sound and damage-free appliances may be
connected to the electrical mains.
• After removing the packaging (or after a lengthy period of storage), carefully clean all the
parts that come into direct contact with food; Detailed instructions are given in the
'Maintenance and cleaning' section.
Assembling the blender
1. Fasten the blender jar to the motor unit, making sure that it ts
properly. Mount the blender jar so that, facing the device, the jar handle
is positioned to the right-hand side of the device. Check to make sure
the jar is securely fastened to the motor unit.The blender jar can only
be fastened normally to the motor unit in one specic position.Thanks
to the safety switch the device can only be activated if the jar is
positioned properly. If, in the course of fastening the blender jar to the
motor unit, the blender jar gets stuck or does not fasten to the motor
unit precisely, do not force it, instead rotate the plastic clutch on the
bottom of the jar just a bit, and afterwards try to fasten the jar to the
motor unit again.
2. Place the lid on the bowl so that the collars on the lid t in the grooves
of the bowl, and then turn the lid slightly clockwise, so that the arrow
on the lid faces towards the nose of the bowl.Then insert the graduated
jar into the lling hole located in the middle of the bowl lid.

Using the blender
1. Place the appliance on a at, stable work surface. Ensure the base unit will remain
ventilated during use; remove any material (e.g. a soft tablecloth, paper etc) that could
cause problems.
2. Remove the mixing jug from the base unit. Remove the lid and ll the jug with your chosen
ingredients. Avoid lling the jug to the 'max' marking if you are using thin liquids.To
prepare larger quantities, simply make a number of smaller batches. (Remember to allow
the machine to rest after a maximum 60 seconds use).
Always place liquids in the measuring jug before adding any solid ingredients. Solid foods
(e.g. vegetables, fruit or meat) should be cut into small pieces before placing them in the
jug. Do not ll the mixing jug beyond the halfway mark (0.75l) when using coarsely-
chopped food. After adding your ingredients, t the lid on the jug and insert the feed
opening cap. (Make sure the lid ts tightly).Wipe any moisture or food from the outside of
the jug.
When preparing the ingredients to be blended, the 30 x 60 millilitre blending funnel can be
used to measure the ingredients.
3. Place the mixing jug on the base unit as described previously. Make sure the speed control
switch is turned o (shown as '0') and then plug the blender into a mains socket.
4. You can operate the appliance either by using the speed control switch (part no.6) or the
'pulse' switch (part no.7).
While the device is in operation, with one hand always make sure the blender jar is
fastened to the motor unit.This way consequences arising from any possible shaking can
be avoided.
Pushing the‘Pulse’button halfway down corresponds to xed speed setting 1 (low speed
gear), while pushing the button all the way down initiates speed setting 2 (high speed
gear).
Only activate the‘Pulse’and‘Auto Clean’buttons in speed setting‘0’!

Choosing the appropriate speed:
a) we recommend a high speed for preparing purees, soups, pastes and
mayonnaise.
b) we recommend a low speed for preparing lighter mixtures, such as mousses,
milkshakes and sauces.
c) we recommend using the pulse option if you need a short burst of power for
mixing.
5. It's advisable to keep one hand on the feed opening cap when mixing (except when adding
extra ingredients).This will prevent any liquid from forcing itself out through the opening
in the centre of the lid. Resting a hand on the lid also reduces vibration and noise when
blending.
6. When you want to stop using the blender, turn the speed control switch to '0' and unplug
the appliance
from the mains socket. Detach and remove the mixing jug from the base unit, then remove
the lid and pour out the contents.
Very important!
• Do not use the blender continuously for more than one minute. Allow the appliance to rest
for 10 minutes after a minute of use. Exceeding the maximum operating time or failing to
allow enough resting time can cause the motor to become overloaded and damaged.
• The mixing jug must not be used for storing food. Ingredients should not be kept in the jug
and any processed food must be emptied from it as soon as mixing is complete.
• Never operate the blender when it is empty
Making the most of your blender
1. The markings on the side of the mixing jug are designed to provide approximate guidance
for measuring ingredients.You should use a calibrated mixing bowl if you require precise
measurements.
2. For your own safety, do not blend solid food or ice cubes on their own.When chopping ice,
add a quarter of a cup of water to the jug and only blend one or two small ice cubes at a

time. Chop ice by using the 'pulse' switch (part no.7) in short bursts. Stop when the ice
becomes a pulp.
3. Cut larger ingredients into smaller (2-3cm) pieces before putting them in the measuring
jug.
4. Always put liquid in the mixing jug before adding solid ingredients.
5. Never ll the mixing jug with hot liquid above 60°C.
6. You can use the opening in the mixing jug lid to add ingredients to your mixture. Do not
attempt to put your hand through the opening. Make sure the ingredients don't splash out
when you remove the cap from the opening; switch to a low speed if necessary. After
adding the ingredients through the feed opening, replace the cap (as described previously).
7. When turning o the blender, make sure the mixing blade (part no.4) has stopped moving
before you attempt to remove the mixing jug from the base unit.You could damage the
plastic/rubber clutch mechanism if you don't wait for everything to stop.
8. Certain hard spices, such as cloves, caraway seed and dill seed, may damage the plastic
parts of the mixing jug.We recommend that you avoid using these in the blender. Other
foods, such as carrots, include natural dyes that may permanently colour the plastic parts of
the blender. This discolouration will not aect the eciency of the appliance.
9. Avoid 'over-blending' your ingredients.You may nd it useful to occasionally stop and
check the consistency of your mixture.
10. Avoid continuous operation or frequent, repeated operations - particularly when using
relatively solid ingredients or smaller quantities.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1. You must clean the appliance after every use, taking particular care to clean the mixing jug
and mixing blade. Unplug the blender from the mains, then detach the jug from the base
unit. Remove food residue by rinsing the jug under running water. Now ll the mixing jug
up to the 0.75l mark with warm water (maximum 60°C) and a small amount of mild
detergent. Return the jug to the base unit, connect the base to the mains and hold the
„Auto Clean”switch for about 30 seconds. Finally disconnect the base, remove the jug and
rinse the jug under running water until it's clean.

Warning! When you've nished following the previous instructions to
clean the mixing jug and blade, turn o the mains socket and unplug
the appliance.
Never place the base unit in water or hold it under running water.
2. Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe
the cleaned surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth.Take care not to allow any moisture inside
the cover. Let the appliance dry completely before re-using or storing it.
3. When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as
these may solve the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into.
Do not use cleaning agents with coarse or grinding eect.
4. When you've nished cleaning, t the carefully-dried mixing jug to the base unit. If you
don't plan to use the appliance for a while, pack it in a plastic bag and keep it in a dust-free
and moisture-free place. Don't wind the mains cable around the appliance as this may
weaken or damage the insulation.

• Ten aparat nie jest przeznaczony do używania przez osoby o ograniczonej zdolności
zycznej, percepcyjnej lub umysłowej, które nie posiadają odpowiedniego doświadczenia i
znajomości (włącznie z dziećmi), wyjąwszy przypadek, kiedy nadzoruje i informuje ich o
użytkowaniu aparatu taka osoba, która jest zarazem odpowiedzialna za ich
bezpieczeństwo. W przypadku dzieci nadzór jest wskazany dla zapewnienia, żeby dzieci nie
bawiły się aparatem. Dzieci poniżej 14 lat nie mogą używać produktu nawet pod

(Nie jest to konieczne przy dodawaniu niewielkich ilości składników do mieszanki w
dzbanku poprzez otwór).
• Podłączyć mikser do sieci tylko wtedy, kiedy został już prawidłowo zamontowany.
Wbudowane zabezpieczenie zapobiega pracy urządzenia, jeśli dzbanek mieszający nie jest
zamocowany na podstawie. Zawsze umieszczać pokrywkę na dzbanku przed
uruchomieniem urządzenia.

• Urządzenie przeznaczone wyłącznie do użytku z przerwami. Umożliwić przestój urządzenia
przez co najmniej 10 minut po użyciu maksymalnie 60 sekund non-stop. Można uszkodzić
mikser, jeśli nie zapewnimy przestoju przez wystarczająco długi czas.
• Przedłużanie i przerabianie kabla sieciowego aparatu jest zabronione! O ile własny kabel
aparatu okaże się za krótki, to można go przedłużyć jedynie dostępnym w handlu
znormalizowanym przedłużaczem. Należy szczególnie uważać na rozmieszczenia
przedłużacza kabla, tak żeby nie powstało niebezpieczeństwo potknięcia.
• Uwaga! Demontaż urządzenia, zdejmowanie obudowy oraz próby samodzielnych napraw
w domu są zabronione - niedostosowanie się do tej instrukcji może doprowadzić do
poważnych wypadków. Urządzenie nie zawiera żadnych części, które mogą być reperowane
w domu lub wykorzystywane w jakimkolwiek innym celu. Nigdy nie używać urządzenia,
jeśli wtyczka lub przewód zasilania zostały uszkodzone, jeśli jego praca jest nieprawidłowa,
lub jeśli spadło albo zostało uszkodzone w inny sposób. Jeśli urządzenie z jakiejkolwiek
przyczyny zepsuło się lub do jego wnętrza dostała się woda, należy skonsultować się z
wyspecjalizowanym centrum serwisowym w celu sprawdzenia bądź naprawy. Do naprawy
urządzenia upoważnieni są wyłącznie wykwalikowani fachowcy w wyspecjalizowanym
centrum serwisowym. Producent nie odpowiada za żadne uszkodzenia powstałe na skutek
prób napraw domowych lub niedostosowania się do niniejszej instrukcji obsługi.
Należy utrzymywać w czystości otoczenie! Zużytego aparatu nie należy usuwać
wraz ze stałymi odpadkami komunalnymi, ponieważ w ten sposób może dojść do
poważnego uszkodzenia żywej natury i zdrowia ludzkiego. Prosimy żeby produkt
– pod koniec jego żywotności – przekazać do osiedlowego warsztatu
wyspecjalizowanego w gromadzeniu i ponownemu odzyskowi urządzeń
elektrycznych lub do zbiornicy odpadków przeprowadzającej niszczenie w sposób
przyjazny dla środowiska. Kabel sieciowy zużytego aparatu – po wyjęciu go z
gniazdka ściennego – należy przeciąć u nasady przed oddaniem aparatu do

Prosimy o zachowanie tej instrukcji obsługi. Jeżeli aparat zostałby odsprzedany
komuś innegu, to koniecznie należ dać razem z nim również i tę instrukcję obsługi.

ZASILANIE APARATU
Aparat można przyłączyć jedynie do sieci elektrycznej 230V~, 50 Hz. Należy się
zawsze upewnić czy napięcie sieciowe na miejscu używania zgadza się z
wartościami podanymi na tabliczce znamionowej aparatu.
STOSOWANIE APARATU
Czynności przed rozpoczęciem używania
• Wypakuj aparat i usuń z niego wszystkie środki pakowania.
• Należy dokładnie sprawdzić stan urządzenia oraz akcesoriów, żeby sprawdzić czy są całe i
nieuszkodzone. Do sieci elektrycznych można podłączać jedynie urządzenia wolne od
uszkodzeń i w doskonałym stanie.
• Po zdjęciu opakowania (lub po dłuższym okresie przechowywania) dokładnie oczyścić
wszystkie części, które bezpośrednio stykają się żywnością. Szczegółowe instrukcje podane
są w rozdziale "Obsługa i czyszczenie".

Montaż miksera
1. Umieścić kielich miksera na jednostce silnika, uważając na odpowiednie
dopasowanie. Kielich miksera umieścić w taki sposób, żeby uchwyt
kielicha był po prawej stronie miksera, patrząc od frontu. Sprawdzić,
czy zamocowanie kielicha na jednostce silnika jest pewne. Kielich
miksera można umieścić na jednostce silnika tylko w jeden właściwy
sposób, i dzięki włącznikowi bezpieczeństwa aparatu, tylko w
przypadku właściwie umieszczonego kielicha, możliwe jest
uruchomienie miksera. Jeżeli w trakcie umieszczenia kielich miksera się
zatnie, lub nie pasuje dokładnie do jednostki silnika, nie należy używać
siły, ale przekręcić trochę plastikowe sprzęgło na spodzie kielicha, i
spróbować jeszcze raz.
2. Położyć na kielich miksera pokrywkę kielicha tak, żeby żebra
ukształtowane na pokrywce pasowały do żłobków kielicha, a następnie
przekręcić nieznacznie pokrywkę zgodnie z ruchem wskazówek zegara
tak, żeby strzałka będąca na pokrywce wskazywała na dziobek
wylewania z kielicha miksera. Potem umieścić w znajdującym się na
środku pokrywki otworze wlewowym naczynie odmierzające.
Korzystanie z miksera
1. Ustawić urządzenie na stabilnej, płaskiej powierzchni. Sprawdzić, czy urządzenie bazowe
jest wentylowane podczas użytkowania, usunąć wszelkie materiały (np. miękki obrus,
papier, itp.), które mogą powodować problemy.
2. Zdjąć dzbanek mieszający z urządzenia bazowego. Zdjąć pokrywkę i napełnić dzbanek
wybranymi składnikami. Nie napełniać dzbanka do oznaczenia 'max', jeśli używamy
rzadkich płynów. Aby przygotować większe ilości, po prostu wykonać pewną liczbę
mniejszych partii. (Pamiętać, aby umożliwić spoczynek urządzenia po maksymalnie 60
sekundach użycia).
Zawsze umieszczać płyny w dzbanku z miarką przed dodaniem jakichkolwiek stałych
składników. Jedzenie stałe (np.. jarzyny, owoce, mięso) należy pokroić na drobne kawałki,
przed umieszczeniem ich w dzbanku. Nie napełniać dzbanka mieszającego ponad
oznaczenie w połowie (0.75l) kiedy używamy grubo pokrojonych składników. Po dodaniu
składników, zamocować pokrywkę na dzbanku i wstawić kołpak na otwór podajnika.
