AVVIAMENTO DEL BRUCIATORE
CONTROLLI PRELIMINARI
Prima di avviare il bruciatore effettuare i seguenti controlli : - Tipo di gas e pressione di alimentazione - Valvole gas
chiuse. - La tenuta dei raccordi - Sfiato tubazione gas e controllo pressione entrata - Il cablaggio conforme allo schema e
fase e neutro rispettati - L’apertura del termostato caldaia ferma il bruciatore - La tenuta del focolare della caldaia per
evitare l’entrata di aria - La tenuta del raccordo camino-caldaia - Condizioni del camino ( stagno, non ostruito,.......). Se
tutte queste condizioni sono soddisfatte avviare il bruciatore. L’apparecchiatura di controllo avvia il motore per effettua-
re ilprelavaggio della camera di combustione. Durante questo periodo di prelavaggio (circa 30 secondi), l’apparecchiatu-
ra controlla che la pressione dell’aria sia corretta tramite il pressostato aria. Al termine, dà tensione al trasformatore e
apre le valvole del gas. La formazione della fiamma deve avvenire e stabilizzare entro 3 secondi, che é il tempo di sicurez-
za dell’apparecchiatura. Controllare visivamente la fiamma prima di inserire qualsiasi strumento di controllo nel cami-
no. Regolare e controllare al contatore la portata di gas necessaria alla caldaia. Adeguare alla portata del gas la portata
dell’aria per una corretta combustione.
CONSIGLI IMPORTANTI
Tutti gli organi regolabili devono essere fissati dall’instal-
latore dopo le regolazioni. Ad ogni regolazione control-
late la combustione al camino. I valori di CO2 devono essere
circa 9,7(G20) 9,6(G25) 11,7(I3B) 11,7(I3P) ed il CO inferio-
re a 75 ppm.

SATRONIC DLG 976
L'apparecchiatura di controllo SATRONIC DLG 976 ha un microprocessore che fornisce informazioni costanti sulla sequenza di
programmazione del bruciatore e sulle cause di eventuali disfunzioni (difetti). L'informazione è disponibile leggendo il codicelam-
peggiante nel LED all’interno dell tasto di reset. Usando il terminale aggiuntivo (opzionale) è possibile avere un piccolo storico
registrato dei precedenti malfunzionamenti e vizualizzarli in qualunque forma leggibile. Ci sono 2 tipi di dispositivi di controllo
supplementari disponibili dalla Satronic. La "satropen" (= cioè la penna Satronic) che è un piccolo lettore tascabile disegnato per
dare una lettura visuale dello status, della fiamma e del voltaggio disponibile. Il software computer è disponibile per permettere
l'accesso alle informazioni correnti e ai dati precedentemente registrati.
DIAGNOSI DEI BLOCCHI
In caso di guasto, il LED si illumina stabilmente. Ogni 10 secondi l’illuminazione viene interrotta da un codice di lampeggio che
indica la causa dell’errore. Viene quindi osservata la sequenza sotto riportata, che viene ripetuta finchè l’unità non viene risettata.

REGOLAZIONE DELLE ELETTROVALVOLE GAS
La portata gas di accensione viene accuratamente regolata in fase di collaudo ad 1/3 della portata massima (secondo normativa).
L’operazione di eventuale regolazione deve essere effettuata da personale specializzato ed autorizzato ECOFLAM.

Regolazione della portata iniziale: è possibile regolare la pressione iniziale
ad un valore tra 0 e 40% della portata massima. La portata è regolata, dal
fabbricante, ad un valore intermedio; per modificarla, girare la vite H
con un cacciavite: verso destra (avvitando) per diminuire la portata, verso
sinistra (svitando) per aumentarla. Per trovare una regolazione ottimale,
procedere con un solo giro alla volta, quindi avviare il bruciatore.
Controllare il valore della portata iniziale seguendo le istruzioni del par.
“Regolazione della portata all’accensione”.

Regolazione della portata massima: svitare le viti A e togliere il coperchio
T. Con una chiave da 12mm girare l’otturatore D della valvola: verso
destra per ridurre la portata massima; verso sinistra per aumentarla.
Rimettere il coperchio dopo la regolazione.
Nota: le 3 viti Q devono essere rimosse solo quando si deve cambiare la
bobina della valvola.

REGOLAZIONE DELLA COMBUSTIONE (METANO)
ATTENZIONE: per ottenere una corretta regolazione della combustione e della portata termica occorre effettuare l'a-
nalisi dei fumi, servendosi degli appositi strumenti.
La regolazione della combustione e della portata termica va eseguita contemporaneamente ad una analisi dei prodotti
della combustione, assicurandosi che i valori riscontrati siano corretti, e, in ogni caso, rispondenti alle normative di
sicurezza vigenti. Tale operazione deve essere eseguita da personale professionalmente qualificato ed autorizzato dalla
ECOFLAM SpA .
–Regolazione dello stabilizzatore di pressione
La regolazione dello stabilizzatore di pressione é la stessa sia nella versione monostadio che in quella bistadio.
Controllare che la pressione in rete non sia superiore alla massima pressione prevista per il regolatore di pressione.
Per regolare la pressione di alimentazione del bruciatore agire con un cacciavite nella apposita sede come indicato in

Campo pressione all'ingresso: 0÷100 mbar; Campo pressione uscita: 3,6÷20 mbar.
Tra la pressione minima e massima d’uscita ci sono circa 60 giri della vite di regolazione; al collaudo lo stabilizzatore
é regolato in posizione intermedia.
L'elettrovalvola GasMultibloc MB-DLE é completa di filtro gas, regolatore di pressione, elettrovalvola di sicurezza ed
elettrovalvola di lavoro ad apertura lenta.
–Regolazione della portata gas nella versione monostadio (MB-DLE)
Per regolare la portata del gas, allentare la vite R e ruotare il regolatore P a seconda delle necessità.
Avvitando, la portata diminuisce, svitando aumenta. Al termine bloccare la vite R. L'elettrovalvola gas Multibloc é
dotata di un freno idraulico che consente una lenta accensione. Per regolare il freno idraulico, svitare la calottina T,
capovolgerla ed inserirla sul perno Q; usare la stessa come manopola per la taratura. Avvitando, la portata di accen-
sione diminuisce, svitando aumenta.
PRINCIPIO DI FUNZIONAMENTO CON DISPOSITIVO CONTROLLO DI TENUTA
VPS 504 ( OPTIONAL )
Alla chiusura dei termostati, il dispositivo di controllo fughe gas effettua un controllo della tenuta delle valvole metten-
do in pressione il circuito tra le due valvole gas. Al raggiungimento della pressione di prova il dispositivo rimane in posi-
zione di attesa per circa 25 sec. Al termine della prova si accende la spia gialla sul dispositivo di controllo e il bruciatore
riceve il consenso per effettuare il ciclo di avviamento. In caso di mancanza di tenuta di una delle valvole e di conseguen-
za di un abbassamento della pressione di prova il dispositivo mette il sistema in sicurezza e accende la spia rossa posta sul
dispositivo stesso. L’apparecchiatura controllo fiamma fa partire il ventilatore del bruciatore per effettuare il prelavaggio
della camera di combustione, controllando la pressione dell’aria di ventilazione tramite il pressostato aria. Al termine
della preventilazione entra in funzione il trasformatore di accensione generando una scintilla tra gli elettrodi e contem-
poraneamente si aprono le valvole del gas (valvole gas di sicurezza VS e 1° stadio valvola lavoro VL).
La sicurezza totale in caso di mancata accensione o di spegnimento viene affidata ad una sonda di rivelazione a ionizza-
zione. Il tempo di sicurezza in caso di mancanza di fiamma è inferiore a 2 sec. alla partenza e ad 1 sec. durante il funzio-
namento. Nel caso di mancanza di gas o di un calo notevole di pressione il pressostato gas di minima provvede ad inter-
rompere il funzionamento del bruciatore. 20-30 Secondi dopo l'accensione, l'apparecchiatura controllo fiamma coman-
da il funzionamento del secondo stadio agendo sulla valvola gas e sul servocomando aria, portando così il bruciatore alla
massima potenzialità.

REGOLAZIONE PRESSOSTATO ARIA
Il pressostato aria deve essere regolato in modo che una insufficiente portata aria non fac-
cia superare il valore di CO a 1% in volume. Dopo aver regolato la portata del gas e atte-
nuto una combustione ottimale
(CO2 = 9,5 ÷ 9,8% e CO inferiore a 75 ppm), bisogna regolare il pressostato aria. Togliere
il coperchio; durante il funzionamento del bruciatore coprire progressivamente l’aspirazio-
ne dell’aria con un cartone in modo da ottenere un valore di CO2 = 10,8 (G 20 - G
25),13 (G 30 - G 31) e un CO inferiore a 5.000 ppm.
Regolare il pressostato dell’aria fino all’arresto del bruciatore. Togliere il cartone dall’aspi-
razione dell’aria e fare ripartire il bruciatore. Rimettere quindi il coperchio.
REGOLAZIONE PRESSOSTATO GAS
Regolare il pressostato ad una pressione del 50% della pressione nominale
del gas utilizzato.

Il regolatore di pressione, con filtro incorporato, deve essere montato per stabilizzare la pressone del
gas in uscita ed evitare che eventuali impurità arrivino alla valvola del gas. Per aumentare la pressio-
ne del gas in uscita, togliere il coperchio del regolatore ed avvitare la vite C; per ridurla svitare la
vite C., quindi rimettere il coperchio.
Nota: la pressione del gas in ingresso non deve essere superiore alla pressione massima prevista.

MANUTENZIONE
CONTROLLO ANNUALE
Il controllo periodico del bruciatore (testa di combustione, elettrodi,ecc.) deve essere effettuato da personale autorizzato
una o due volte all’anno a secondo dell’utilizzo.
Prima di procedere al controllo per la manutenzione del bruciatore è consigliabile verificare lo stato generale del brucia-
tore e seguire le seguenti operazioni :
- Togliere tensione al bruciatore (togliere la spina)
- Chiudere il rubinetto di intercettazione gas
- Togliere il coperchio del bruciatore, pulire la ventola e l’aspirazione dell’aria
- Pulire la testa di combustione e controllare la posizione degli elettrodi
- Rimontare i pezzi
- Verificare la tenuta dei raccordi gas
- Verificare il camino
- Far ripartire il bruciatore
- Controllare i parametri della combustione
(CO2 = 9,7(G 20); 9,6(G 25); 11,7(G 30); 11,7(G 31),(CO = inferiore a 75 ppm)
PRIMA DI OGNI INTERVENTO CONTROLLARE :
- Che ci sia corrente elettrica nell’impianto e il bruciatore collegato.
- Che la pressione del gas sia corretta e il rubinetto di intercettazione del gas aperto.
- Che i sistemi di controllo siano regolarmente collegati.
Se tutte queste condizioni sono soddisfatte , far partire il bruciatore premendo il pulsante di sblocco.
Controllare il ciclo del bruciatore.
IL BRUCIATORE NON SI AVVIA :
- Controllare l’interruttore, i termostati, il motore, pressione gas.
IL BRUCIATORE EFFETTUA LA PREVENTILAZIONE E AL TERMINE DEL CICLO VA IN BLOCCO :
- Controllare la pressione dell’aria e la ventola.
- Controllare il pressostato aria.
IL BRUCIATORE EFFETTUA LA PREVENTILAZIONE E NON ACCENDE :
- Verificare il montaggio e la posizione degli elettrodi.
- Verificare il cavo di accensione.
- Verificare il trasformatore di accensione.
- Verificare l’apparecchiatura di sicurezza.
IL BRUCIATORE SI ACCENDE E DOPO IL TEMPO DI SICUREZZA VA IN BLOCCO :
- Controllare fase e neutro che siano collegati correttamente.
- Controllare l’elettrovalvole del gas.
- Controllare la posizione dell’elettrodo di rivelazione e la sua connessione.
- Controllare l’elettrodo di rivelazione.
- Controllare l’apparecchiatura di sicurezza.
IL BRUCIATORE SI ACCENDE E DOPO QUALCHE MINUTO DI FUNZIONAMENTO VA IN BLOCCO :
- Controllare il regolatore di pressione e il filtro gas.
- Controllare la pressione del gas con un manometro.
- Controllare il valore di rivelazione (min 3 µA).


A bruciatore spento inserire un microamperometro in corrente continua e scala 0÷50 o 0÷100 µA.
Con il bruciatore in funzione, e regolato correttamente, il valore letto dovrà essere stabile e mai inferiore a 1,5/3 µA.

STARTING-UP THE BURNER
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Before starting up the boiler check the following: - gas type and feed pressure; - gas valves closed; - the seals in the pipe fittings; -
gas pipe breather and input pressure; - that the cable complies with the diagram and the phase and neutral wires correspond; - that
the burner shuts down when the boiler thermostat opens; - the seal of the boiler furnace which prevents air from entering; - the
seal on the flue-boiler pipe fitting; - the condition of the flue (sealed, free from blockage, etc ).
If all these conditions are present, start the burner. The control device starts the motor to carry out prewashing of the combustion
chamber. During this prewash period (about 30 seconds) the device checks that air pressure is correct via the air pressure switch. At
the end, it supplies power to the transformer and opens the gas valves. The flame must be lit and stabilize within 3 seconds, which
is the device's safety time limit. Check to ensure the flame is lit before placing any control instrument in the flue. Adjust and check
the gas flow necessary for the boiler at the meter. Adjust the air flow according to the gas flow to obtain correct combustion.
IMPORTANT ADVICE
All adjustable parts must be fixed by the installer after making adjustments. Check flue combustion after each adjustiment. The
CO2values must be approx. 9.7 (G20) 9.6 (G25 11.7 (13B) 11.7 (13P) axld the CO must be less than 75 ppm.

SATRONIC DLG 976 CONTROL INFORMATION SYSTEM
The SATRONIC DLG 976 control is a micro-processor control which provides information about the current opera-
tion of the burner and the cause of any faults. The information is available by reading the “flash code” at the red LED
within the lockout reset button as detailed below. By the use of additional monitoring equipment a short history of
recorded faults is also available. There are two types of additional monitoring devices available from Satronic Ltd. The
“satropen” is a small pocket reader designed to give a visual read out of status, flame current and supply voltage.
Computer software is available to allow access to the current information and stored data.
FAULT DISPLAY MESSAGES
On burner failure the red LED is permanently illuminated for a period of approximately 10 seconds, followed by a
brief “dark phase”, then one of the following flash codes will indicate the cause of the fault. This indication will repeate
as long as the lockout reset button is not reset.

The ignition flow rate is carefully adjusted. during test phase to 1/3 of the maximum flow rate (according to specifications).
Operations for eventual further adjustment must be carried out by skilled personnel authorized by ECOFLAM

Adjustment of the initial flow rate: it is possible to adjust the initial flow
rate at a value ranging from 0 and 40% of the max. flow rate. The flow
rate is adjusted by the manufacturer to an intermediate value; to modify
it, turn screw H through a screwdriver: to the right (screwing) to reduce
the flow rate and to the left (unscrewing) to increase. To find the right
adjustment, proceed a turn at a time then start the burner. Check the
initial flow rate value following the instructions given at par. “Adjusting
the gas flow rate at the ignition”.

Adjustment of the maximum flow rate: unscrew screws A and remove the
cover T. Through a wrench of 12 mm turn the valve obturator D: to the
right to reduce the max. flow rate, and to the left to increase. Fit the
cover after the regulation.
Note: the 3 screws Q must be unscrewed only to replace the valve’s coil.

COMBUSTION ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: In order to have a correct combustion and thermal output adjustments, these must be carried out
together with a combustion analysis, to be executed through suitable devices, taking care that the values are the correct
ones and are in accordance with the local safety regulations. The adjustments must be carried out by qualified and skil-
led technicians authorised by Ecoflam S.p.A.
ADJUSTMENT OF PRESSURE GOVERNOR
The adjustment procedure is the same for both single-stage (MB-DLE) and two-stage (MD-ZRDLE) versions. Check
that gas pipe pressure is not higher than the maximum one specified for the governor, then operate through a screw dri-
ver fitted into the suitable seat as shown in the figure. Adjustments must be made with the burner running, in function
of the working pressure and needs of each installation. The working fields are as follows: inlet pressure range 0÷100
mbar; outlet pressure range 3,6÷20 mbar. Between the minimum and maximum outlet pressure there are approx. 60
adjusting screw’s turns. The governor is adjusted to an intermediate position during the tests.

To adjust the gas flow rate, loosen screw R and turn the regulator; to the right (screwing) to reduce; to the left

ADJUSTMENT OF FAST OPENING’S HYDRAULIC BRAKE
The adjustment procedure is the same for both single-stage (MB-DLE) and two-stage (MD-ZRDLE) versions.
To adjust the fast opening’s hydraulic brake, unscrew cover T and through its upper side turn pin Q. Screw to reduce
the opening speed; unscrew to increase. Screw cover T after regulation.

WORKING OF THE BURNER WITH THE LEAKAGE CONTROL DEVICE

When the thermostats are closed, the gas leakage control device checks the valve seals by pressurizing the circuit
between the two gas valves. When test pressure is reached the device remains in stand-by for about 25 seconds.
At the end of the test the yellow pilot light on the control device lights up and the burner is enabled to carry out the
start-up cycle. If the seal on one of the valves is faulty and this causes a drop in test pressure, the device puts the system
into the safety condition and the red pilot right on the device lights up.
The flame control device starts the burner fan to carry out prewashing of the combustion chamber,checking fan air
pressure via the air pressure switch. After preventilation the ignition transformer starts operating, generating a spark
between the electrodes and simultaneously the gas valves open (safety gas valve VS and first stage operating valve VL).
If the flame does not ignite or goes out, total safety is ensured by an ionization detection probe.
The safety time limit in the event of no flame is less than 2 seconds at start-up and less than 1 during operation.
In the event of no gas being supplied or of a considerable drop in pressure the minimum gas pressure switch interrupts
burner operation. About 20/30 seconds after ignition the flame control device commands operation of the second
stage via the gas valve and air servocontrol, thus taking the burner to maximum power.

ADJUSTING THE AIR PRESSURE SWITCH
The air pressure switch must be adjusted so that an insufficient air flow does not
allow the CO value to exceed 1% in volume. After having adjusted the gas flow
and obtained optimum combustion (CO2= 9.5 to 9.8% and a CO value of less
than 75 ppm), the air pressure switch must be adjusted. Remove the cover with
the burner operating, cover the air intake progressively with a piece of cardboard
to obtain a value of CO2= 10.8 (G20-G25)> 13 (G30-G31) and a CO value of
less than 5,000 ppm. Adjust the air pressure switch until the burner shuts down.
Remove the cardboard from the air intake and start up the burner again.
Replace the cover.

The gas governor, with built-in filter, must be installed so as to stabilise the outlet gas pres-
sure and to avoid that eventual impurities reach the gas valve. To increase gas pressure,
remove the cover of governor and turn screw C. Unscrew screw C to reduce pressure, then
fit the cover.
Note: the inlet gas pressure must not be higher than the specified max. gas pressure.

MAINTENANCE
YEARLY INSPECTION
Periodic inspection of the burner (combustion head, electrodes, etc.) must be carried out by authorised personnel once or twice a
year, depending of use. Before carrying out maintenance inspection on the burner, it is advisable to check its general condition
and carry out the following operations:
- Disconnect the burner from the power supply (remove the plug).
- Close the gas cock.
- Remove the burner cover, clean the fan and air intake.
- Clean the combustion head and check the position of the electrodes.
- Re-assemble the parts.
- Check the seal on the gas pipe fittings.
- Check the flue.
- Restart the burner.
- Check the combustion parameters (CO2= 9.5 to 9.8),(CO = less than 75 ppm)
BEFORE EACH INTERVENTION CHECK;
- That the system is supplied with power and the burner connected.
- That the gas pressure is correct and the gas cock open.
- That the control systems are correctly connected.
If all these conditions are present, start the burner by pressing the release button. Check the burner cycle.
THE BURNER WILL NOT START;
- Check the switch, thermostats, motor, gas pressure.
THE BURNER PREVENTILATES AND LOCKS AT THE END OF THE CYCLE:
- Check the air pressure and fan.
- Check the air pressure switch.
THE BURNER PREVENTILATES AND WILL NOT IGNITE:
- Check the assembly and position of electrodes.
- Check the ignition cable.
- Check the ignition transformer.
- Check the safety devices.
THE BURNER STARTS UP AND LOCKS AFTER THE SAFETY TIME LIMIT:
- Check that the phase and neutral wires are correctly connected.
- Check the gas electrovalves.
- Check the position of the detection electrode and its connection.
- Check the detection electrode.
- Check the safety devices.
THE BURNER STARTS UP AND LOCKS AFTER RUNNING FOR A FEW MINUTES.
- Check the pressure regulator and the gas filter.
- Check the gas pressure with an ammeter.
- Check the detection value (min 3 µA Landis, 1,5 µA Satronic).


With the burner switched off, connect a DC microammeter with a 0÷50 or 0÷100 µA dial. When the burner is run-
