more – independently, on 8 different high definition TVs or monitors
in 8 different rooms.

With 8 sets of component video inputs
and outputs, the V883 allows you to view
all your component video sources
independently on up to 8 different high
definition TVs and/or monitors in as many
rooms. And with its unity gain design and
high definition chip set, whatever you pipe
into the V883 is exactly what you’ll see at
the other end – quality. The V883 also
distributes standard composite video from
non-component sources such as CCTV
cameras and VCRs.
Go the Distance
The V883 can use standard RG-6 coaxial
cable to send component video signals to
TVs or monitors up to 300 feet away.
With the addition of an ELAN Component
Video Wall Plate (CVWP), component
video can be sent up to 500 feet over Cat-5
data/communication cable. Either way, the
V883’s zero-loss design means the best
possible picture even over long distances.
Adaptable
The V883 is both RS-232 and IR-
controllable, so it can integrate seamlessly
with any multi-room system. In an ELAN
system, all of the V883’s control commands
reside in ELAN’s system setup software and
can be automatically built into the system’s
programming, making it a breeze to
configure even complex component video
switching routines.
Expandable
Have more than 8 TVs? Expansion ports on
the back of the V883 make it easy to meet
your needs. Add a second, third or fourth
Component Video Controller, and view all 8
of your component video sources on up to
32 televisions and/or monitors.
