Music Everywhere
The System6 (S6) is a six-source/six-zone multi-room
controller with an integrated 12-channel amplifier rated
at 40 watts per channel. It enables you to independently
listen to and control up to six different audio sources in
six distinct listening areas. But that’s not all . . .
Six zone-specific preamp outputs allow you to add on
as many rooms of music as you wish to any of the six
zones by connecting them to additional amplifiers like
the ELAN A1240 12-channel Power Amplifier. Volume
controls in each “add-on” room allow you to control
the level in each room independently of any other room.
Expanded Feature Set
In addition to on-board features such as Source-
Specific IR Ports, Source Status Inputs and
Zone/System Trigger Outputs, the S6 integrates
easily with ELAN Video and Communication
Controllers. Distribute component and composite
video sources to any room in the home – even in
high-def! Page anyone anywhere in the home,
have phone-to-phone “in-house” conversations
and talk to visitors at any door. These features and
a whole lot more are simple, seamless add-ons to
any S6 whole-house entertainment system.

Most entry-level multi-room systems are either
packaged with, or limited to the use of, a specific
keypad. The S6 is compatible with the entire lineup of
ELAN keypads and award-winning VIA!®Color Touch
Panels, giving you a multitude of control options for
all those extra rooms of music!
Choose from different styles of in-wall or tabletop
keypads available in five different colors, or the
ultimate in whole-house system control– the VIA!®
Touch Panel, available in tabletop, in-wall or wireless
versions.
