Your new I-Series 4 Slate Android system combines the reliable performance from Elo with
the latest developments in touchscreen technology and display design. This combination of
features creates a natural flow of information between a user and the I-Series 4 Slate system.

Unpacking and Installation
I-Series 4 Slate with IO Hub
Verify that the box contains:
•Elo I-Series 4 Slate
•IO Hub
•65W Power Brick
•Quick Install Guide
Remove all protective materials from the device.
Inspect the device for damage.
Report immediately if system has damage and/or missing items as listed above.
Follow Quick Install Guide for installation
•If using Z10 POS Stand. Mount I-Series to Stand
•Mount IO Hub to User Surface
Plug in 65 Watt Power Adapter to wall socket
Attach Ethernet Cable and USB peripherals
EloPOS Z30 with or without CFD Display
Verify that the box contains:
•Elo POS Z30
•Elo POS Stand
•150W Power Brick with Power Cable
•Base Plate
•1 M4x8 mm screw in a plastic bag
•Quick Install Guide
Remove all protective materials from the device.
Inspect the device for damage.
Report immediately if system has damage and/or missing items as listed above.
Follow Quick Install Guide for installation
Plug in 150 Watt Power Adapter to wall socket
Attach Ethernet Cable
Attach any external devices (Cash drawers, Printers, etc)

Powering the System
Power Button
Note: As soon as power is applied to the system, the device will boot up.
Do not touch the screen during system boot up.
•To turn ON the system, press power button for 500 milliseconds.
•To Shut down or Restart, press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds and follow the on-screen display
menu.
•To force the system to Shutdown, press and hold the power button for 12 seconds.
•To bring the system out of sleep/standby mode, either press the power button once or touch the
screen.

Follow on-screen instruction to
complete the set up Step 1:
•Tap anywhere to proceed
with set up.
Enroll with EloView:
•Connect to Wi-Fi or tap “Set
up offline” to skip Wi-Fi set
up.
•To enroll with EloView you
must connect to WiFi.
