1. INTRODUCCIÓN
Antes de poner en marcha la balanza por
primera vez, lea con atención este manual
con el fin de garantizar un funcionamiento
correcto y una larga duración.
5. PUESTA A PUNTO
A. Instale la pila alcalina de 9V, en el
compartimento de la pila (7) en la parte
inferior de la balanza.
B. Coloque la balanza sobre una superficie
seca, horizontal y sólida, y asegúrese
de que está firme. Luego coloque el bol
sobre la plataforma (2).
6. FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Presione el botón para encender
la balanza.
2. La pantalla se activará mostrando todos
los iconos.
3. Presione el botón para elegir la
unidad de peso: en kilos, gramos o
libras.
a) en kg
b) en gr
c) en lb
4. Asegúrese de que la balanza muestra de
peso "cero" antes de realizar la pesada.
Si no es así pulse el botón tara (5).
5. Puede comenzar a pesar ahora. Intente
siempre colocar el artículo a pesar en el
centro del bol.
6. Espere hasta que la pantalla se
estabilice. La lectura mostrada en la
pantalla indicará el peso correcto del
artículo, por ejemplo:

7. Función TARA
Puede realizar pesadas adicionales de
manera consecutiva, sin retirar el artículo
ya pesado del bol. Presione simplemente
el botón una vez antes de añadir el
artículo adicional, hará que la función Tara
ponga a cero la pantalla. (Mientras está
activada la función tara, aparecerá
"TARE" en un lado de la pantalla)
Luego coloque un nuevo artículo adicional
en la balanza, la pantalla lo pesará e
indicará sólo el peso neto del artículo
añadido, por ejemplo:
8. Cuando empiece a retirar los objetos de la
balanza, la pantalla comenzará a mostrar el
valor negativo de los artículos recién
retirados, como se muestra en el dibujo:
Nota: el límite para la función tara: 0,8%
de la capacidad total sin ajustar.
Cuando el peso total de tara sobrepase el
0,8% de la capacidad total, la capacidad
total será reducida por el peso
correspondiente al ser tarado. Por ejemplo:
si tenemos 100g de peso, que sobrepasa el
0.8% de 5kg (=40g), entonces la capacidad
total, que antes era 5kg, ahora será
reducida a: 5000g-100g = 4900g.
9. Desconexión automática
Al finalizar la pesada presione el botón
para apagar la balanza. O deje
simplemente la unidad inactiva unos 2
minutos, esta se desactivará
automáticamente.
8. INDICADOR DE CAMBIO DE PILA
Cuando la pila necesite ser sustituida, la
pantalla mostrará lo siguiente:
En tal caso, siga los pasos de la puesta a
punto.
Recuerde que las pilas no
son basura doméstica. Las
pilas usadas deben ser
depositadas en los
contenedores destinados
especialmente a ello.
9. MANTENIMIENTO, LIMPIEZA Y
USO CORRECTO
7. ADVERTENCIA: NO SOBRECARGAR
1. Como la balanza es un aparato de alta
precisión, es muy delicada y
extremadamente sensible. Evite que se
caiga o que sea objeto de golpes que
provoquen daños de manera importante
en su funcionamiento y precisión.
2. Al utilizar la balanza, presione el botón
ligeramente para activar la función. No
presione demasiado fuerte ni utilice un
objeto puntiagudo.
3. Utilice un paño suave y seco para
limpiar la unidad (para evitar también
que el bol se deslice). No utilice
soluciones químicas fuertes como el
alcohol o el benceno.
4. Evite la exposición de la balanza a una
temperatura ambiente alta, como
hornos de cocina o llamas, porque se
deteriorará con mayor rapidez.
5. No exponga la balanza a entornos de
campos electromagnéticos altos, como
teléfonos inalámbricos, ordenadores,
transformadores, etc., porque
provocará interferencias en el
funcionamiento correcto del sistema
electrónico y de precisión.
Si se sobrepasa la capacidad de carga, la
pantalla comenzará a indicar el siguiente
mensaje de aviso:

6. Utilice siempre la balanza sobre una
superficie horizontal y dura. No la utilice
sobre moquetas o alfombras.
7. No introduzca ningún objeto externo por
las aberturas de la balanza.
8. Retire la pila de la unidad si no va a
utilizarla durante un largo período de
tiempo.
9. No intente abrir la balanza para
repararla. Esto anulará la validez de la
garantía.
10. Si la balanza falla al conectarla,
compruebe que la pila está instalada o si
está baja. Inserte o sustituya la pila y, si
es necesario, consulte a su proveedor.
11. Si se produce algún error en la pantalla
o no se puede encender la balanza,
retire la pila durante unos 3 segundos y
luego, encájela de nuevo para eliminar
el fallo transitorio.
10. ADVERTENCIAS PARA LA
ELIMINACIÓN CORRECTA DEL

Al final de su vida útil, el
producto no debe eliminarse

este servicio. Eliminar por separado un
electrodoméstico significa evitar posibles
consecuencias negativas para el medio
ambiente y la salud derivadas de una
eliminación inadecuada y permite reciclar
los materiales que lo componen, obteniendo
así un ahorro importante de energía y
recursos. Para subrayar la obligación de
eliminar por separado los
electrodomésticos, en el producto aparece
un contenedor de basura móvil tachado.

Interference suppression: The

1. INTRODUCTION
Before using the scales for the first time,
read this manual carefully to guarantee
correct functioning and extend the life of the
appliance.
5. ADJUSTMENT
A. Insert the 9V alkaline battery in the
battery compartment (7) on the
underside of the scales.
B. Place the scales on a dry, flat, solid
surface, making sure they are firmly
positioned. Then place the bowl on the
platform (2).

on the display. (While the tare function
is activated, the word "TARE" will
appear at the side of the display.)
Then place the additional article on the
scales. The display will show only the
net weight of the article that has been
added, e.g.
8. When you begin to remove the articles
from the scales, the display will begin to
show the negative value of the articles
removed, as shown below:
Note: the limit for the tare function is
0.8% of the total capacity of the scales
before adjustment.
When the total tare weight exceeds
0.8% of the total capacity, the total
capacity will be reduced by the
corresponding weight when the scales
are tared. For a weight of 100g, for
example, which exceeds 0.8% of 5kg
(=40g), the total capacity (previously
5kg) will now be reduced to 4900g
(5000g-100g).
9. Automatic switch-off
When you have finished weighing the
articles, press the button to
switch off the scales.
They will also switch off automatically if
they are left inactive for around 2
minutes.
1. The scales are a high-precision
appliance and therefore extremely
sensitive and delicate. Be careful to
prevent any falls or knocks which could
seriously damage their accuracy and
functioning.
2. When using the scales, press the
buttons gently to activate the functions.
Do not press them too hard or use any
sharp objects.
3. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the scales
(this will also prevent the bowl from
slipping). Do not use strong chemical
solutions such as alcohol or benzene.
4. Avoid exposing the scales to a high
ambient temperature, e.g. ovens or
flames, as this will cause rapid
deterioration.
5. Do not expose the scales to
environments with strong
electromagnetic fields, such as cordless
telephones, computers, transformers,
etc. as this will interfere with the correct
functioning of the electronic and
precision system.
8. REPLACE BATTERY INDICATOR
When the battery needs replacing, the
following message will appear on the
display:
When this happens, follow the adjustment
instructions.
Remember that batteries are
not household waste. Spent
batteries must be disposed
of in the special containers
provided.
9. MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND

If you exceed the load capacity, the
following warning will appear on the display:

6. Always use the scales on a hard, flat
surface. Do not stand them on rugs or
carpets.
7. Do not insert any foreign objects into
the openings in the scales.
8. Remove the battery from the appliance
if it is likely to be out of use for some
time.
9. Do not attempt to open the scales to
repair them. This will annul the
guarantee.
10. If the scales do not work when they are
switched on, check there is a battery
inserted or if the battery has run down.
Insert or replace the battery and consult
your supplier if necessary.
11. If an error appears on the display and
the scales will not switch on, remove
the battery for around 3 seconds and
then insert it again to remove the
temporary error.
10. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR

At the end of its working life,
the product must not be
disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special
local authority differentiated

5. MISE AU POINT
A. Mettre en place la pile alcaline de 9V

B. Poser la balance sur une surface sèche,

soit fermement installée. Déposer

9. Arrêt automatique

9. N’essayez pas d’ouvrir la balance pour

10. Si la balance ne fonctionne pas
correctement, vérifiez que la pile est
correctement mise en place. Insérez
correctement la pile ou remplacez-la par
une pile neuve et, si nécessaire,
adressez-vous à votre fournisseur.
11. Si l’écran affiche une erreur quelconque
ou si vous n’arrivez pas à allumer la
balance, retirez la pile et attendez 3
secondes avant de la remettre
correctement en place, afin d’éliminer la
défaillance transitoire.

5. WAAGE VORBEREITEN
A. Geben sie die 9V Alkali-Batterie in das
Batteriefach (7), das sich im unteren Teil
der Waage befindet.
B. Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine
trockene, wagerechte und feste

Drücken Sie nur den Knopf, bevor Sie
das neue Wiegegut dazugeben.
Dadurch wird die Tarierfunktion aktiviert,
und das Display stellt sich erneut auf
Null. (Während die Tarierfunktion aktiv
ist, erscheint das Wort "TARE" an einer
Seite des Displays).
Geben Sie danach das neue Wiegegut
auf die Waage. Es wird ausgewogen,
und auf dem Display erscheint nur das
Nettogewicht des neu hinzugegebenen
Wiegeguts, z.B.:
8. Wenn Sie das hinzugefügte Wiegegut
wieder von der Waage nehmen,
erscheint als Negativwert das Gewicht
des vorher entnommenen Wiegeguts, so
wie es auf dem Bild zu sehen ist.
Anmerkung: die Obergrenze der
Tarierfunktion liegt bei 0,8% der
Gesamtkapazität ohne Einstellung.
Überschreitet das Gesamtgewicht des
tarierten Wiegeguts um 0,8% die
Gesamt-Wiegekapazität, wird die
Gesamtkapazität beim tarieren um das
entsprechende Gewicht verringert. Zum
Beispiel: beträgt das hinzugegebene
Gewicht 100g und überschreitet das
Gesamtgewicht von 5kg um 0,8%
(=40g) wird diese Gesamtkapazität die
vorher 5kg betrug um 100g reduziert:
5000g-100g = 4900g.
9. Automatisches Abschalten
Nachdem Sie den Wiegevorgang
beendet haben, drücken Sie den Knopf
zum Ausschalten der Waage.
Wird die Waage während zwei Minuten
nicht benutzt, schaltet sie sich ebenfalls
automatisch aus.
1. Da es sich bei einer Waage um ein Gerät
von hoher Präzision handelt, ist dieses
äußerst empfindlich. Vermeiden Sie
Stürze und Schläge, die die Funktion und
die Präzision der Waage nachhaltig
beeinträchtigen können.
2. Drücken Sie zum Aktivieren der
einzelnen Funktionen die Knöpfe nur
leicht. Vermeiden Sie zu festes Drücken
der Knöpfe und benutzen Sie dazu auch
keine spitzen Gegenstände.
3. Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Geräts
einen weichen und trockenen Lappen
(dies ist besonders wichtig damit die
Schale nicht verrutscht). Benutzen Sie
keine aggressiven chemischen Produkte
wie Alkoholreiniger oder Benzol.
8. HINWEIS BATTERIEWECHSEL
Muss die Batterie gewechselt werden,
erscheint auf dem Display der folgende
Hinweis:
Führen Sie in diesem Fall erneut die
Schritte zum Vorbereiten der Waage aus.
Bitte denken Sie daran, dass
Batterien kein Hausmüll
sind. Geben Sie die
verbrauchten Batterien in
speziell dafür vorgesehenen
Behälter.

PRODUKTS IN ÜBEREINSTIMMUNG
MIT DER EG-RICHTLINIE 2002/96/EG.
Am Ende seiner Nutzzeit
darf das Produkt NICHT
zusammen mit dem
Siedlungsabfall beseitigt
werden.
Es kann zu den eigens von
den städtischen Behörden eingerichteten
Sammelstellen oder zu den
Fachhändlern, die einen
Rücknahmeservice anbieten, gebracht
werden.
Die getrennte Entsorgung eines
Haushaltsgerätes vermeidet mögliche
negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt
und die menschliche Gesundheit, die
durch eine nicht vorschriftsmäßige
Entsorgung bedingt sind. Zudem
ermöglicht wird die Wiederverwertung
der Materialien, aus denen sich das
Gerät zusammensetzt, was wiederum
eine bedeutende Einsparung an Energie
und Ressourcen mit sich bringt.
Zur Erinnerung an die Verpflichtung, die
Elektrohaushaltsgeräte getrennt zu
beseitigen, ist das Produkt mit einer
Mülltonne, die durchgestrichen ist,
gekennzeichnet.
4. Bringen Sie die Waage nicht in die
Nähe großer Hitzequellen, wie
Backöfen oder Flammen, da sie
dadurch in ihrer Funktion beeinträchtigt
werden könnte.
5. Bringen Sie die Waage nicht in eine
Umgebung mit intensiven
Magnetfeldern wie drahtlosen
Telefonen, Computern, Transformatoren
etc. da dadurch Interferenzen mit dem
elektronischen Präzisionssystem
ausgelöst werden können, die das
korrekte Funktionieren beeinträchtigen.
6. Benutzen Sie die Waage nur auf einer
harten und waagerechten Oberfläche.
Stellen Sie sie nicht auf Teppiche oder
Teppichböden.
7. Führen Sie in die Öffnungen der Waage
keine Objekte von außen ein.
8. Entfernen Sie die Batterien aus dem
Gerät, falls Sie dieses über einen
längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzen.
9. Öffnen Sie die Waage nicht, um Sie zu
reparieren. Dies setzt die Garantie
außer Kraft.
10. Lässt sich die Waage nicht einschalten,
überprüfen Sie ob die Batterie eingesetzt
ist, oder ob dieses zu schwach ist.
Setzen Sie eine Batterie ein, oder
ersetzen Sie die verbrauchte Batterie
durch eine Neue. Wenn nötig setzen Sie
sich mit dem Kundendienst in
Verbindung.
11. Tritt ein Fehler auf dem Display auf
oder lässt sich die Waage nicht
einschalten, nehmen Sie die Batterie
während drei Sekunden heraus und
setzen Sie sie erneut ein, um den
vorübergehenden Ausfall zu beheben.
