When the batteries need replacing, the

Openthecoveronthebackofthescales
and carefully remove the battery from their
compartment.Takecarenottobendthe
contactsasyoudothis,astheywillbreak.
Takeoutthebatteryandinsertanewone.
Place it on to the contact and then press
downwards.
Remember that batteries
arenothouseholdwaste.
Spent batteries must be
disposed of in the special
containers provided.

• Ifthereisanerroronthescreen,turnthe
scales off for a long period of time and
remove the batteries for around 3 seconds,
thenputthebatteriesbackinandturnon
the scales. If this does not solve the problem,
contact your distributor for further information.
• Donotusethescalesforcommercial
purposes.
Ifthescalesareoverloaded(over150kg/
330lb),theerrormessage"Err"willappear
on the display.
Whenthescreenshows“C”whenyou
step off the scales, this means that there
hasbeenanerrorintheweightreading.
