KULLANIM
Ütü ile ilgili ipuçlar›
1. Ütülemek istediklerinizi kumafl çefli-
dine göre düzenleyiniz. Bu ütünüzün
s›cakl›¤›n› daha az ayarlaman›z› ve
daha az zaman harcaman›z›
sa¤layacakt›r.
2. E¤er kumafl›n cinsinden emin
de¤ilseniz, kumafl›n tersini veya içini
ütüleyerek ütünüzün s›cakl›¤›n›
ayarlay›n›z.
3. Is›ya hassas kumafllar› ütülemeden
önce en az 2 dakika bekleyiniz. Ütü,
s›cak ya da so¤uk olsa dahi, s›cakl›¤›n
ayarlanmas› için belirli bir süre
gereklidir.
4. ‹pek, yün, kadife gibi hassas kumafllar›
ütülemek için bir ütüleme kumafl›
kullan›n›z.
Ütülemek istedi¤iniz ürün üzerinde
üretici taraf›ndan yerlefltirilmifl olan
etiketlerdeki, afla¤›daki sembollere
benzer sembollere göre ütülemeyi
yap›n›z.
SUYUN DOLDURULMASI
1. Cihaz›n tamamen so¤umas›n›
bekleyiniz.
2. Cihaz› kapat›n›z ve fiflini prizden çekiniz
3. Su tank› t›pas›n› saat yönünün tersine
çevirip aç›n›z.
4. Huniyi kullanarak yaklafl›k 800 ml su ile
tank› doldurunuz.
5. T›pay› tekrar kapat›n›z.
NOT: Kazanda yeterli su oldu¤u
takdirde ütünüz iyi buhar verecektir.
Bunun için ütüyü çal›flt›rmadan önce
tank› su ile doldurunuz. Ütüleme
esnas›nda tanka su doldurmay›n›z.

1. Cihaz üzerindeki her türlü koruyucu film
veya etiketi ç›kart›n›z.
2. Cihaz›n elektrik ve buhar kablolar›n›
çözüp, düzlefltiriniz.

için buhar dü¤mesine 1 dakika bas›l›
tutunuz.
13.Ütülemeye ilk olarak, eski bir bez

olarak so¤umas›n› bekleyiniz.

Ütünüzün bu özelli¤i hassas
kumafllardaki, perdelerdeki ve di¤er
as›l› olan kumafllardaki k›r›fl›kl›klar› yok
etmenizi sa¤lar.
NOT:
1. Bu özelli¤i, insanlar ve hayvanlar›n

2. Dikey ütülemeyi hassas kumafllar

Cihaz›n sprey özelli¤i istenilen her
zaman kullan›labilir ve herhangi bir
ayar› etkilemez.
1. Sprey dü¤mesini flekil 4 teki gibi
ç›kart›n›z.
2. Su tank›n› flekil 5 teki gibi doldurunuz.
3. Su tank›n› yerine yerlefltiriniz.
4. Sprey ucunu kumafla do¤ru tutunuz.
5. Sprey dü¤mesine bas›n›z.
NOT:
Sprey özelli¤inin tam olarak
çal›flabilmesi için birkaç defa sprey
dü¤mesine bas›n›z.

2. Hafif nemli bir bez veya çizmeyen bir
temizleyici ile kazan›n ve ütünün d›fl

temizlemek için sert ve keskin cisimler
kullanmay›n›z.
4. Ütüyü temizlemek için afl›nd›r›c›, kireç

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing Fakir Herba
Steam Generator which has been
designed and manufactured to give
you many years of trouble-free service.
You may already be familiar with using
a similar product, but do please take
time to read these instructions – they
have been written to ensure you get
the very best from your purchase.
Safety is Important
To ensure your safety and the safety
of others, please ensure you read the
Safety Instructions before you operate
this product. Keep this information in
a safe place for future reference.
• Check the mains voltage stated on the
rating plate corresponds to the local
electricity supply.
• Unwind and straighten the power cord
and supply cord before use.
• Place the appliance on a firm and
steady surface.
• When placing the iron on its stand,
ensure that the surface on which the
stand is placed is stable.
• Keep the anti-cal cartridge and
granules away from children at all time.
• If the supply cord is damaged it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Wait to cool down the appliance. Empty
the water tank after use.
• The plug of the supply cord must be
removed from the socket-outlet before
the water reservoir is filled with water.
• Keep electrical appliances out of reach
from Children or infirm persons. Do not
let them use the appliances without
supervision.
• The filling aperture must not be opened
during use. Instructions for the safe
refilling of the water reservoir shall be
given.
• Do not open the filler cap before the
appliance completely cooling down.
• Do not allow children touch the
appliance when ironing.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended
when it is connected to a mains supply
outlet.
• Do not use an extension power cord
set unless competent authority has
approved it.
• Do not add perfumed, vinegar or other
chemical liquids into the water tank;
they can damage the appliance
seriously.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water
or any other liquid.
• The iron is not to be used if it has been
dropped, if there are visible signs of
damage, if it is leaking or if it performs
abnormally.
• Do not touch the iron rest during or just
after ironing. It is hot!
• Do not roll the power cord or supply
cord around the iron unit or base
console for storage until it has cooled
down completely.
• Do not attempt to open the cabinet or
dismantle any parts from the appliance,
there is no serviceable part inside.

HINT FOR IRONING
1. Sort out the articles to be ironed
according to the type of fabric. This
will minimize the frequency of
temperature adjustment for different
garment.
2. Test ironing a small area on the
backside or inside the garment if you
are unsure about the type of fabric.
Start with a low temperature and
increase gradually.
3. Wait for 2 minutes before ironing heat
sensitive fabrics. Temperature
adjustment needs certain time to reach
the required level no matter it is higher
or lower.
4. Delicate fabrics such as silk, wool,
velour, etc. are best ironed with an
ironing cloth to prevent shine marks

Similiar to the following.
HOW TO FILL WATER
1. Wait for appliance completely cooling
down.
2. Turn off the power switch and unplug
the appliance.
3. Turn the safety cap anticlockwise off
the fill opening.
4. Fill approx. 800ml water into the tank.
Use the enclosed funnel when filling
with water.
5. Firmly refit the safety cap.
NOTE: The steam function may only
be used when there is enough water
in the water tank. Therefore, always
replenish the water before ironing to
avoid waiting periods caused by
refilling the reservoir while ironing.
FIRST TIME IRONING
1. Remove any protective films or sticker
from the soleplate and the cabinet, if
any.
2. Unwind and straighten the power cord
and supply cord.
3. Fill the boiler with tap water. (See How
to fill water)
4. Connect the appliance to a suitable
mains supply outlet.
5. Turn on the power switch.
6. Turn on the boiler switch.
7. Set the “steam level” to maximum level.
8. Turn the Temperature Dial on the iron
unit in clockwise direction to maximum
position. Pilot Light glows.
9. Steam ironing ready light glow on when
ready for steam ironing.
10.Pilot Light goes off when the required
temperature for the iron unit is reached.
11The appliance is ready to use.
12.Depress the Steam Button for 1 minute
to clean the steam generating system.
13.Begin first time ironing with an old
towel.
STEAM IRONING
1. Unwind and straighten the power cord
and supply cord.
2. Fill the boiler with tap water. (See How
to fill water)
3. Connect the appliance to a suitable
mains supply outlet.
4. Turn on the power switch.
5. Turn on the boiler switch.
6. Set your required “steam level” to
maximum level.
7. Turn the Temperature Dial on the iron
in clockwise direction, select dot-1,
dot-2 or dot-3 according to the
recommendation of garment label.
8. Steam ironing ready light glow on when
ready for steam ironing.
9. Pilot Light goes off when the required
temperature for the iron unit is reached.
10.The appliance is ready for use.
11.Press the Steam Button for steam
ironing.
12.Turn the Temperature Dial on the iron
unit in anti-clockwise direction to “Min”

and the iron is switched off.
13.Turn off the main switch.
14.When the appliance gets cool
completely, store it in a safe place.
* When the Re-fill indication light glows
on, the boiler will be empty. If you want
re-fill the boiler. Please turn off the
appliance and let it complete cooling
down.
VERTICAL STEAMING
This function provides steam to remove
wrinkles on delicate garments in
hanging position, hanging curtains or
other hanging fabric.
NOTE:
1. Do not apply steam on any clothes or
fabrics that are being worn by human
or pets. Temperature of steam is very
high.
2. Maintain a distance of a few centimeters
from delicate fabric (Synthetics, silk,
velvet, etc.), otherwise the fabric could
be damaged.
DRY IRONING
1. Unwind and straighten the power cord
and supply cord.
2. Fill the boiler with tap water. (See How
to fill water).
3. Connect the appliance to a suitable
mains supply outlet.
4. Turn on the power switch.
5. Turn off the boiler switch.
6. Turn the Temperature Dial on the iron
in clockwise direction, select dot-1,
dot-2 or dot-3 according to the
recommendation of garment label.
7. Pilot Light goes off when the required
temperature for the iron unit is reached.
8. The appliance is ready for use.
9. Turn the Temperature Dial on the iron
unit in anti-clockwise direction to “Min”
and the iron is switched off.
10.Turn off the power switch.
11.Disconnect the power cord from mains
supply outlet.
12.When the appliance gets cool
completely, store it in a safe place.
SPRAYING
This function can be used any time and
is not affect any setting.
1. Remove the spray button as per fig 4
2. Fill the water tank as per fig 5
3. Replace the water tank in its place.
4. Aim the nozzle to the garment.
5. Press the Spray Button.
NOTE:
It may be necessary to press the
spray button a few times to start this
function.

DRAINING THE WATER
1. Turn off the power switch.
2. Disconnect the power cord from mains
supply outlet.
3. Wait for the appliance completely cool
down.
4. Remove the Filler cap.
5. Empty the boiler by holding it upside
down.
6. Reinstall the Filler cap
CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE
1. Disconnect the power cord from the
mains supply outlet.
2. Use a damped cloth or non-scratching
cleaner to remove any deposits on the
soleplate or the cabinets.
3. Never use sharp or rough objects to
remove the deposit on the soleplate.
4. Never use any abrasive, vinegar or
descaling agents to clean the iron.
