dikkate alınız.
Kullanmadan Önce Uyarıları Okuyunuz.
Tercihinizi Fakir VEZUV Buharlı Ütü’den yana kullandığınız
için teşekkür ederiz. Ürünümüz size uzun süre sorunsuz
hizmet vermek için tasarlanıp üretilmiştir.
1. Cihaz sadece ev kullanımına uygundur.
2. Elektrik çarpması riskini engellemek için cihazı suya ya da
başka bir sıvıya sokmayınız.
3. Cihazın fişini prize takarken ve ya çıkarırken; cihaz ayarı
min. seviyede olmalıdır. Cihazın fişini prizden çekerken
kesinlikle kablodan tutup çekmeyiniz. Fişi tutunuz ve
prizden öyle çekiniz.
4. Cihaz kablosunu sıcak yüzeylere temas ettirmeyiniz.
Cihazı kullanmadığınız zamanlarda saklamak için
soğumasını bekleyiniz.
5. Cihaza su doldururken, cihazdan suyu boşaltırken ve
kullanmadığınız zamanlarda fişini prizden çekiniz.
6. Kablosu hasar görmüş, düşmüş ve ya hasar görmüş
cihazları kullanmayınız. Elektrik çarpmalarını engellemek
için cihazı kendiniz sökmeye çalışmayınız ve derhal Yetkili
Fakir Servislerine müracaat ediniz. Yanlış kurulan bir cihaz
çalıştırıldığında elektrik çarpmasına neden olabilir.
7. Cihazı çocukların yanında kullanırken yakın gözetim
gereklidir. Cihazı kesinlikle boşta ve ütü masasının
üstünde prize takılı halde bırakmayınız.
8. Sıcak metal kısımlara,sıcak suya ve ya buhara temas
etmek yanıklara sebebiyet verebilir. Bu yüzden cihazı ters
çevireceğiniz zaman dikkatli olunuz, çünkü cihazın
içerisinde hala sıcak su olabilir.
9. Eğer cihaz normal çalışmıyorsa, fişini prizden çekiniz ve
hemen en yakın Yetkili Fakir Servisine başvurunuz.
10.Cihaz sadece dik konumda bekletilmek üzere
tasarlanmıştır. Cihazı prize takılı haldeyken boşta
bırakmayınız. Cihazı dik konumda olsa bile sağlam
olmayan bir zeminde bırakmayınız.

Güvenlik Önlemleri Cihazınızı daha iyi ve uzun ömürlü kullanabilmek için lütfen
aşağıdaki önlemleri dikkatlice okuyunuz.
1.Cihazın tip etiketinde yazan voltaj değerlerinin
kullanacağınız voltaj değerleri ile uyumlu olup olmadığını
kontrol ediniz.
2.Eğer cihazın üstünde görünebilir hasar varsa veya cihaz
su sızdırıyorsa, cihaz kullanılmamalıdır. Bu gibi durumda
en yakın Yetkili Fakir Servisi’ne başvurunuz.
3.Cihazı kullanmadan önce kabloyu tam olarak açınız.
4.Çok küçük bir zaman için bile olsa, cihazı kullanmadığınız
zamanlarda fişini prizden çekiniz ve cihazı arka kısmında
bulunan tabanı kullanarak dik konumda bekletiniz.
5.Çocukların cihaza ulaşamadıklarından ve kablosunu
çekemediklerinden emin olunuz.
6.Cihaza her su doldurduğunuzda veya suyu boşalttığınızda
fişini prizden çekiniz.
7.Cihazı kesinlikle suya daldırmayınız.
8.Cihaz stabil bir ütü masasında kullanılmalıdır.
9. Cihaz stabil bir yerde kullanılmalı ve bekletilmelidir.
10.Cihazı bekletme pozisyonuna getirdiğinizde, zeminin
stabil olduğundan emin olunuz.
İlk Kullanım Önerileri 1. Cihazın bazı parçaları yağlanmış olduğundan ilk çalıştırma
esnasında hafif bir duman verebilir. Bu ilk çalışma
esnasında olabileceği gibi kısa bir süre sonra
kaybolacaktır.
2. Cihazı ilk çalıştıracağınız zaman tabandaki plastik
koruyucu çıkarınız ve tabanı temiz ve yumuşak bir bezle
siliniz.
3. Tabanı koruyunuz ve tabanı korumak için tabanı metal
nesnelere temas ettirmeyiniz.

TR
Isıyı ayarlamak 1. Giysinin üzerindeki ütüleme talimatlarını okuyunuz.
2. Eğer giysinin üzerinde herhangi bir ütüleme talimatı yoksa
ve giysinin hangi tür kumaştan yapıldığını biliyorsanız, ısı
ayarı için aşağıdaki tabloyu kullanınız.
3. Eğer kumaşın herhangi bir son işçiliği (ağartma, kırışıklık
veya kontrast farkı) var ise en düşük ısıyı kullanınız.
4. Eğer kumaş birden fazla hammadde içeriyorsa (Ör:%60
polyester, %40 pamuk) en yüksek oranda kullanılan
hammaddeye göre ısıyı seçiniz ve buharsız kullanınız. (Ör:
polyester)
5. Ütüleme yapacağınız kumaşları türlerine göre ayırınız ve
her türü kendi grubuyla birlikte ütüleyiniz. Grup
sıralamasını ise en düşük ısı isteyen kumaştan en yüksek
ısı isteyen kumaşa doğru yapanız.
6. Ütünün üzerindeki ısı ayar düğmesini istediğiniz ısı işareti,
ütü gövdesi üzerindeki ok işaretine gelinceye kadar
çeviriniz.

Su tankını doldurmak 1. Cihazın fişini prizden çekiniz.
2. Buhar ayar düğmesini kuru ütüleme kısmına getiriniz.
3. Su tankını; su doldurma kapağını kullanarak doldurunuz.

Kesinlikle kimyasal, kireçlenmiş su veya parfüm
kullanmayınız.

Buharlı Ütüleme 1. Cihazın su tankını doldurunuz.
2. Cihazın fişini prize takınız.
3. Buharlı ütüleme yalnızca ısı derecesi en yüksek dereceye
ayarlandığında mümkün olur. Aksi taktirde taban su
damlatır.
4. Pilot ışığı sönene kadar bekleyiniz. Işığın sönmesi istenilen
ısıya geldiğini gösterir.
5. Buhar ayar düğmesini arzu edilen konuma getiriniz.
6. Ütüleme işlemi bittiğinde veya ara verildiğinde ütüyü dik
şekilde bırakınız.
7. Cihazın fişini prizden çekiniz. Cihazın içinde kalan suyu
dökmek için soğumasını bekleyiniz.
Spray Su Püskürtme 1. Spray su püskürtme özelliği su tankı dolu olduğu sürece
kuru ütülemede de ve buharlı ütülemede de kullanılabilir.
2. Bu özelliği kullanabilmek için spray düğmesine basınız.
Ani Buhar Ani buhar inatçı kırışıklıkları gidermek için cihazınıza
fazladan buhar gücü sağlar.
1. Sıcaklık ayar düğmesini max. seviyesine getiriniz ve pilot
ışığı sönene kadar bekleyiniz.
2. Buharın kumaşa etki etmesi için düğmeye ikinci kez
basmadan önce birkaç saniye bekleyiniz.
Bu özelliğin fazla kullanılması cihazın soğumasına neden
olur. Ani buharı kullanmadan önce pilot ışığının
söndüğünden emin olunuz.
NOT!
Bu özelliği ilk olarak kullanacağınız zaman düğmeye
birkaç kez basmak gerekebilir.
NOT!
En iyi buhar kalitesini alabilmeniz için bir seferde arka
arkaya 3 kereden fazla basmayınız. Bu özelliğin
başlaması için birkaç kez pompalama gerekmektedir.

Kendini Temizleme Kendini temizleme özelliği cihazdan kireci temizlemek için
ilk kullanımdan önce ve daha sonra periyodik olarak
kullanılmalıdır.
1. Su tankını max. seviyesine kadar doldurunuz.
2. Sıcaklık ayar düğmesini max. seviyeye getiriniz.
3. Cihazın fişini prize takınız ve cihazı çalıştırınız.
4. Cihazın ısınmasını ve pilot ışığının sönüp tekrar yanmasını
bekleyiniz.
5. Cihazın fişini prizden çekiniz ve lavabonun üzerinde yatay
olarak tutunuz.
6. Kendini temizleme tuşuna basınız.
Sıcak su ve buhar taban deliklerinden dışarı çıkacaktır.
Cihazın içerisindeki kireç temizlenmiş olacaktır.
1. Bu işlem sırasında cihazı öne ve geriye doğru hareket
ettiriniz.
2. Kendini temizleme tuşunu bırakınız.
3. Cihazı dikey pozisyonda bir zemine bırakınız.
4. Cihazın fişini prize takınız ve cihazı çalıştırınız.
5. Eski bir kumaşı ya da havluyu ütüleyerek tabanı
kurulayınız.

Dumanın yok olması için 10 dakika
bekleyiniz.
Sıcaklık ayar düğmesini istenilen sıcaklığa
ayarlayınız.
Buhar ayar düğmesini max. buhar
seviyesine ayarlayınız ve su tankına su
doldurunuz.
Su tankını en azından ¼’ü dolu olacak
şekilde doldurunuz, sıcaklık ayar düğmesini
buhar pozisyonuna ayarlayınız, cihazı yatay
konuma getiriniz. Buhar verme işlemleri
arasında biraz zaman bırakınız ve
düğmeye tam olarak bastığınızdan emin
olunuz.
Su tankına su doldurunuz.
Sıcaklık ayarını max. seviyeye getiriniz.

noktalarına bırakılması Cihazın kullanım ömrünün bitmesi halinde, elektrik kablosunu keserek kullanılamayacak hale getiriniz.
Ülkenizde mevcut bulunan yasalara göre, bu tür cihazlar
için özel olarak belirlenmiş çöp kutularına cihazı bırakınız.
Elektriksel atıklar, normal çöplerle birlikte atılmamalıdır.

Important safeguards When using your iron, basic safety precautions should
always be followed , including the following:
Read all instructions before using
Thank you for purchasing Fakir VEZUV Steam Iron which
has been designed and manufactured to give you many
years of trouble-free service.
You may already be familiar with using a similar product,
but do please take time to read these instructions – they
have been written to ensure you get the very best from
your purchase.
1. Use the iron only for its intended use.
2. To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
3. The iron should always be turned to “min” before plugging
or unplugging from the mains outlet. Never pull the cord to
disconnect from the mains: instead, grasp plug and pull to
disconnect.
4. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces. Allow the iron
to cool completely before putting away.
5. Always disconnect the iron from the electrical outlet when
filling with water or emptying and when not in use
6. Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord or if the iron
has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric
shock, do not disassemble the iron .take it to a qualified
service agent for examination and repair. Incorrect
re-assembly, can cause a risk of electric shock when the
iron is used.
7. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being
used by or near children. Do not leave the iron unattended
when connected to the mains or on an ironing board.
8. Burns can occur from torching hot metal parts, hot water or
steam, use caution when you turn a steam iron upside
down-there may be hot water in the reservoir.
9. If the iron is not operating normally ,disconnect from the
power supply. And contact the nearest authorized service
agent.
10. Your iron is designed to rest on the heel. Do not
leave the iron unattended when switched on. Do not place
the iron on an unprotected surface even if it is on its heel
rest.

Suggestions before
using the iron for the
first time
1. Certain parts of the iron have been lightly greased
therefore the iron could give off a little smoke when
plugged in for the first time. This will cease after a short
while.
2. Before using the iron for the first time , remove the plastic
protector from the base(if it has one) clean the base with a
soft cloth.
3. Keep the base very smooth. Do not run it over metal
objects (such as against the ironing board, buttons, zips,
etc.)
4. Pure wool fibres (100% wool)can be ironed with the
appliance in the steam position .by preference, select a
high steam position and use a dry ironing cloth.
Important precautions To make good use of your appliance , please read these
instructions carefully and look at the illustrations before
using it.
1. Check that the voltage on the product rating plate
coincides with your mains voltage.
2. The iron shall not be used if there are visible signs of
damage or if the iron in leaking .The iron shall be sent to
the manufacturer or his qualified service agent before
further use.
3. Completely unwind the mains cable.
4. Always unplug the iron when not in use ,even if only for a
short period of time.
Unplug it from the mains and leave it standing on its rear
base.
5. Make sure that children can not touch the hot iron and that
they can not pull on the mains wire.
6. Always unplug the iron before filling the water or when
removing the excess water form it.
7. Never submerge the iron in water.
8. The iron shall be used on a stable ironing board.
9. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
10.When placing the iron on its stand,ensure that the surface
on which the stand is placed is stable.

Selecting the
temperature 1. Check the ironing instructions on the garment to be ironed.
2. If the garment does not have any ironing instructions but
you know the kind of fabric in question, use the chart
below.
3. Fabrics that have some kind of finish(polishing . wrinkles,
contrasts….)can be ironed at the lowest temperatures.
4. If the fabric contains several kinds of fibres ,always select
the temperature applicable ,if an article contains 60%
polyester and 40% cotton ,you must always choose the
temperature corresponding to polyester and without steam.
5. First classify the articles to be ironed according to the most
suitable ironing temperature : wool with wool, cotton with
cotton, etc. as the iron heats up as fast as it cools , start by
ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such
as those made of synthetic fibres . Progress towards those
that require the highest temperatures.
6. Turn the temperature control until it is in front of the
appropriate signal according to the following:
· position for nylon and acetate
·· position for wool ,silk or mixures
··· position for cotton or linen (steam).
How to fill the water tank 1. Unplug the iron.
2. Set the steam button to dry ironing .(fig.1)
3. Fill the tank through the filling hole.(fig.2)
-If you have hard water ,it is advisable to use only distilled
or demineralized water.
-do not use chemically de-limed water or perfumed
4.Do not store the iron with water in the tank.

Steam ironing 1. Fill the iron as described in the section “how to fill the water
tank”.
2. Plug the iron into the mains.
3. Steam ironing is only possible when the highest
temperatures shown on the temperature control are
selected .
Otherwise ,water may escape through the soleplate.
4. Wait until the pilot light goes out , which indicates that the
selected temperature has been reached.
5. Turn the steam button to the required position.
6. When the ironing is finished and during breaks in ironing ,
place the iron in its upright position.
7. Disconnect the iron from the mains supply . Pour of any
remaining water and leave the iron to cool off.
Spray 1. The spray can be used in any position, either in dry or
steam ironing, as long as the water tank is filled with water.
2. Press the spray button for this function

1. Place the temperature selector at the “max”(fig.3)position
and wait until the pilot light goes out
2. Wait for a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fibre
before pressing again.
Excessive use of this feature will cause the iron to cool ,
ensure that the pilot light is out, before operating the shot
of steam control.
NOTE!

For the best steam quality, do not use more than
three successive bursts each time. Several pumping
actions are needed to start this function.

Defects and repairs Do not attempt to replace a defective mains lead .The
appliance has to be returned to an authorized service
centre for repair.
Using the self-clean button
The self-clean function must be used before using the
appliance for the first time and then regularly to remove
scale
1. Fill the tank to the maximum filling level.
2. Set the temperature control dial to the max position.
3. Plug the appliance in and switch on.
4. Allow the appliance to heat up until the heating light
switches off and then on again.
5. Unplug the appliance and hold it horizontally over the sink.
6. Press the self-clean button.
Hot water and steam will come out of the vents.Impurities
and scale will be washed away.
1. Move the iron backwards and forwards while this is
happening.
2. Release the self-clean button.
3. Stand the appliance upright on its heel.
4. Plug the appliance in and switch on.
5. Iron an old cloth or towel to dry the soleplate.

Possible cause
Iron gives off an odor when
turned on for the first time.
The temperature dial did not set
at the desired temperature.
The water tank many be empty.

Solution
Oils used during manufacture need to
be burnt off allow ten minutes for odor
to disappear.
The iron should be plugged into a 230
Volt , AC electrical outlet only. The
temperature dial must be set at the
desired temperature.
Turn the steam valve to “ ” and add
water .Allow the iron to heat, and then
set the steam dial to the steam setting.
The water tank must be at least 1/4 full.
Temperature must be set to steam
position. Iron should be in the
horizontal position. Prime pump briefly.
Allow a short pause between shots. Be
sure to fully depress the burst of steam
button.
Fill the iron as described in the section
“how to fill the water tank”.
The variable steam dial must be set on”
“,until the iron is hot. The temperature
setting is too low to produce steam.
