1 BenutzerhinweiseDeutsch
Der CP-Feldbusknoten 8 ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz
als Teilnehmer am Allen-Bradley RIO-Netzwerk bestimmt.
Hierbei sind die angegebenen Grenzwerte der technischen
Daten einzuhalten.
Ausführliche Informationen finden Sie in der Beschreibung
P.BE VIFB8-10...
Warnung
SSchalten Sie die Spannung aus, bevor Sie Steckver-
binder zusammen stecken oder trennen (Funktions-
schädigung).
SVerwenden Sie nur Netzteile, die eine sichere elektri-
sche Trennung der Betriebsspannung nach IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 mit mindestens 4 kV Isolations-
festigkeit gewährleisten (PELV). Schaltnetzteile sind
zulässig, wenn sie die sichere Trennung im Sinne der
EN 60950/VDE 0805 gewährleisten.
SSchließen Sie einen Erdleiter mit ausreichendem Lei-
tungsquerschnitt an den mit dem Erdungssymbol
gekennzeichneten Anschluss an.
SNehmen Sie nur einen komplett montierten und ver-
drahteten Knoten in Betrieb.
Stellen Sie bei Verwendung als explosionsgeschütztes
Betriebsmittel sicher, dass:
Selektrische Anschlüsse nicht unter Spannung ge-
trennt werden.
Sdie komplett installierte Ventilinsel mit allen verwen-
deten Steckern, Adaptern und Schutzkappen minde-
stens die Schutzart IP64 aufweist.

2 Konfiguration
Hinweis
Beim Öffnen des Knotens: Verbindende Kabel verhin-
dern das komplette Abheben des Deckels.
Vorsicht
Der Knoten enthält elektronisch gefährdete Bauele-
mente.
Berühren der Kontaktflächen an Steckverbindungen
und Missachtung der Handhabungsvorschriften für
elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente können den
Knoten zerstören.
Gehen Sie beim Konfigurieren wie folgt vor:
1. Betriebsspannung abschalten.
2. Knoten öffnen (Schrauben sind verlierbar).
3. Feldbusadresse einstellen.
4. Feldbusbaudrate einstellen.
5. Knoten schließen.
6. Ist das CP-System letzter Feldbusteilnehmer, muss ein
Abschlusswiderstand installiert werden.

1 User instructionsEnglish
The CP fieldbus node 8 is designed exclusively for use as a
slave on the Allen-Bradley RIO network. The limit values of
the technical specifications must be observed.
Please refer to the manual P.BE VIFB8-10... for detailed
information.
Warning
SSwitch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
SUse only power units which guarantee reliable isola-
tion of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resis-
tance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV). Switch
power packs are permitted, providing they guarantee
reliable isolation in accordance with EN 60950/
VDE 0805.
SConnect an earth conductor of sufficient cross-sec-
tional area to the terminal marked with the earth
symbol.
SOnly operate a node which is completely fitted and
electrically wired.
If to be used as an explosion-protected operating de-
vice, make sure that:
Selectrical contacts are not disconnected under ten-
sion
Sthe completely fitted valve terminal with all plugs,
adapters and protective caps complies at least with
protection class IP 64.

2 Configuration
Please note
The cover is connected to the internal PC boards via the
operating voltage cable. It cannot therefore not be
removed completely.
Caution
The node contains elements which are liable to damage
by electrostatic charges.
The node can also be destroyed if the contact surfaces
of plug connectors are touched, or if the regulations for
handling electrostatically vulnerable components are
not observed.
Please observe the following when configuring:
1. Switch off the operating voltage.
2. Open node (screws are liable to be lost).
3. Set fieldbus address.
4. Set fieldbus baud rate.
5. Close node.
6. If the CP system to be connected is at the end of a
fieldbus line, a terminating resistor must be installed.

– lower valve address = pilot valve coil 14
– higher valve address = pilot valve coil 12.
2. Electrical output or input modules occupy 16 output or
input addresses.

El nodo de bus de campo CP 8 está diseñado exclusiva-
mente para ser utilizado como slave en la red RIO de Allen-
Bradley. Deben observarse los valores límite de las especi-
ficaciones técnicas.
Para una detallada información, consultar el manual P.BE
VIFB8-10....
Atención
SDesconectar la fuente de alimentación antes de in-
sertar o retirar conectores (de lo contrario, pueden
producirse daños).
SUtilizar solamente fuentes de alimentación que ga-
ranticen un aislamiento fiable de las tensiones de
funcionamiento según IEC 742/EN 60742/VDE 0551
con una resistencia de aislamiento de por lo menos
4 kV (PELV, tensión extra baja protegida). Se permi-
ten fuentes de alimentación conmutadas, si se garan-
tiza un aislamiento fiable según EN 60950/VDE 0805.
SConectar un conductor de tierra de suficiente sección
transversal al terminal marcado con el símbolo de
tierra.
SPoner en marcha el nodo solamente cuando est com-
pletamente montado y cableado.
Si debe utilizarse en un entorno antideflagrante, asegu-
rarse de que:
Slos contactos eléctricos no se desconectan bajo tensión
Sel terminal completamente montado, con todas las
clavijas, adaptadores y caperuzas protectoras cum-
ple por lo menos con el grado de protección IP 64.

2 Configuración
Por favor, observar
La tapa está conectada a los circuitos impresos internos
a través del cable de alimentación. Por ello no puede
retirarse completamente.
Precaución
El nodo contiene elementos que son susceptibles de
dañarse por descargas electrostáticas. El nodo también
puede destruirse si se tocan las superficies de contacto
delosconectoresosinoseobservanlasnormasparala
manipulación de componentes sensibles a las descar-
gas electrostáticas.
Observar lo siguiente al configurar:
1. Desconectar la tensión de alimentación.
2. Abrir el nodo (cuidar de no perder los tornillos).
3. Establecer la dirección del bus.
4. Establecer la velocidad de transmisión del bus.
5. Cerrar el nodo.
6. Si el nodo se halla conectado al final de una línea de
bus, debe instalarse una resistencia de terminación.
