1 BenutzerhinweiseDeutsch
Das CPX−CM−HPP ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz in CPX−
Terminals von Festo in Verbindung mit geeigneten Kompo
nenten bestimmt. Hierbei sind die angegebenen Grenz
werte der technischen Daten einzuhalten.
Ausführliche Informationen finden Sie in der Beschreibung
zum CPX−CM−HPP (P.BE−CPX−CM−HPP−...) sowie in der CPX−
Systembeschreibung(P.BE−CPX−SYS−...).
Warnung
· Schalten Sie die Spannung aus, bevor Sie Steckver
binder zusammenstecken oder trennen (Funktions
schädigung).
· Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Stromquellen, die eine
sichere elektrische Trennung der Betriebsspannung
nach IEC/EN 60204−1 gewährleisten. Berücksichtigen
Sie zusätzlich die allgemeinen Anforderungen an
PELV−Stromkreise gemäß IEC/EN 60204−1.
· Schließen Sie einen Erdleiter mit ausreichendem
Leitungsquerschnitt an den mit dem Erdungssymbol
gekennzeichneten Anschluss des CPX−Terminals an.
· Das CPX−CM−HPP enthält elektrostatisch gefährdete
Bauelemente. Berühren Sie deshalb keine Bauele
mente. Beachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften
für elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente.
Hinweis
Nehmen Sie nur ein komplett montiertes und
verdrahtetes CPX−Terminal in Betrieb.

3 Installationshinweise
Warnung
Schalten Sie vor Installations− und Wartungsarbeiten
Folgendes aus:
 ggf. Druckluftversorgung
 Betriebsspannungsversorgung Elektronik/Sensoren
 Lastspannungsversorgung Ausgänge/Ventile
3.1 Montage/Demontage
Das CPX−CM−HPP ist in einen Verkettungsblock des CPX−
Terminals montiert.

Demontage
1. Lösen Sie die 4 Schrauben des CPX−CM−HPP.
2. Ziehen Sie den CPX−CM−HPP vorsichtig und ohne zu
verkanten von den Stromschienen des Verkettungs
blocks ab.
Montage
1. Setzen Sie den CPX−CM−HPP in den Verkettungsblock
ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass die entsprechenden Nuten
mit den Klemmen zur Kontaktierung auf der Unterseite
des CPX−CM−HPP über den Stromschienen liegen.
2. Drücken Sie den CPX−CM−HPP vorsichtig und ohne zu
verkanten bis zum Anschlag in den Verkettungsblock.
3. Setzen Sie die Schrauben so an, dass die
vorgefurchten Gewindegänge genutzt werden.
4. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben von Hand über Kreuz an.
Anzugsdrehmoment 0,9 ... 1,1 Nm.

3.2 Pin−Belegung Achsanschluss
Die Antriebsregler werden über CAN−Bus am Achsan
schluss des CPX−CM−HPP angeschlossen.

Das CPX−CM−HPP stellt den angeschlossenen CAN−Bus−
Teilnehmern über den Achsanschluss keine Spannungsver
sorgung zur Verfügung.

3.3 Spannungsversorgung des CPX−CM−HPP
Die Spannungsversorgung des CPX−CM−HPP erfolgt über
den Verkettungsblock.
 Der CPX−CM−HPP wird über die Betriebsspannungs−
versorgung für Elektronik und Sensoren versorgt.
 Die Lastspannungsversorgung für Ventile und digitale
Ausgänge wird nicht benötigt.
Das CPX−CM−HPP kann somit mit allen Verkettungsblöcken
kombiniert werden.
 Verkettungsblock ohne Einspeisung
 Verkettungsblock mit Systemeinspeisung, wenn der
Platz unterhalb der Module links vom CPX−CM−HPP für
die Systemeinspeisung nicht ausreicht.
 Verkettungsblock mit Zusatzeinspeisung, wenn das
Moduls rechts vom CPX−CM−HPP eine Zusatzeinspei
sung benötigt, aber der Platz für die Zusatzeinspei
sung nicht ausreicht.

The CPX−CM−HPP is intended exclusively for use in CPX
terminals from Festo in conjunction with appropriate
components. The maximum values specified in "Technical
data" must be observed here.
Detailed information can be found in the description for
the CPX−CM−HPP (P.BE−CPX−CM−HPP−...) as well as in the
CPX system description(P.BE−CPX−SYS−...).
Warning
· Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plug connectors (otherwise functional
damage).
·Useonly power sources which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/EN 60204−1. Observe also the general require
ments for PELV power circuits as per IEC/EN 60204−1.
· Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cable cross
section to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
· The CPX−CM−HPP contains electrostatically sensitive
devices. Therefore, do not touch any components.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostati
cally sensitive devices.
Note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been
mounted and wired completely.

3 Installation instructions
Warning
Before carrying out installation and maintenance work,
switch off the following:
ifapplicable, the compressed air supply
theoperating voltage supply for the electronics/
sensors
theload voltage supply for the outputs/valves
3.1 Mounting/Dismounting
The CPX−CM−HPP is mounted in an interlinking block of the
CPX terminal.

Dismantling
1. Loosen the 4 screws of the CPX−CM−HPP.
2. Pull the CPX−CM−HPP carefully and without tilting away
from the contact rails of the interlinking block.
Mounting
1. Place the CPX−CM−HPP in the interlinking block. Make
sure that the corresponding grooves with the power
contact terminals on the bottom of the CPX−CM−HPP lie
above the contact rails.
2. Press the CPX−CM−HPP carefully and without tilting into
the interlinking block up to the stop.
3. Place the screws so that the self−cutting threads can
be used.
4. Tighten the screws by hand in diagonally opposite
sequence. Tightening torque 0.9 ... 1.1 Nm.

3.2 Pin allocation of axis connection
The drive controllers are connected via the CAN bus to the
axis connection of the CPX−CM−HPP.

The CPX−CM−HPP does not supply any power to the
connected CAN−bus stations via the axis connection.

3.3 Power supply of the CPX−CM−HPP
The power supply for the CPX−CM−HPP is provided via the
interlinking block.
 The CPX−CM−HPP does not supply any power to the
electronics and sensors via the operating power
supply
 The load voltage supply for the valves and digital out
puts is not required.
The CPX−CM−HPP can therefore be combined with all inter
linking blocks.
 Interlinking block without supply
 Interlinking block with system supply if the space
below the modules to the left of the CPX−CM−HPP is not
sufficient for the system supply.
 Interlinking block with additional power supply if the
module to the right of the CPX−CM−HPP requires an
additional power supply, but the space is not sufficient
for the additional power supply.

1 Instrucciones para el usuarioEspañol
El CPX−CM−HPP está concebido exclusivamente para su
uso en terminales CPX de Festo en combinación con
componentes adecuados. Deben observarse los valores
máximos indicados en las especificaciones técnicas.
Hallará información detallada en el manual del
CPX−CM−HPP (P.BE−CPX−CM−HPP−...) así como en el manual
del sistema CPX(P.BE−CPX−SYS−...).
Advertencia
· Desconecte la tensión antes de enchufar o
desconectar conectores enchufables (esto evitará
daños funcionales).
· Utilice exclusivamente fuentes de corriente que
garanticen un aislamiento eléctrico de la tensión de
funcionamiento según IEC/EN 60204−1. Observe
también los requerimientos generales para circuitos
PELV conforme a la norma IEC/EN 60204−1.
· Conecte un conductor de tierra de suficiente sección
de cable a la conexión del terminal CPX marcada con
el símbolo de tierra.
·ElCPX−CM−HPP contiene componentes sensibles a
las descargas electrostáticas. Por este motivo no se
deben tocar los componentes. Observe las
especificaciones sobre la manipulación de elementos
sensibles a las descargas electrostáticas.
Importante
Ponga en funcionamiento un terminal CPX sólo cuando
se halle completamente montado y cableado.
