Battery Replacement
• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy.
• Remove the sound and light box from the
clips inside the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment
door with a Phillips screwdriver.
• Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert two,button cell "LR44" alkaline batteries,
as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Hint:Werecommendusingalkaline batteriesfor
longerlife.
• Close the battery compartment door and tighten the
screw with a Phillips screwdriver.Do not over-tighten.
• Fit the tabs on the sound and light box into the slots
in the clips.
• Close the fasteners on the toy
• When sounds or lights from this toy become faint or
stop,it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of batteries:
alkaline,standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long periods of non-
use.Always remove exhausted batteries from the
toy.Battery leakage and corrosion can damage this
toy.Dispose of batteries safely.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.The batteries
may explode or leak.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be
recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as
recommended in the“Battery Replacement”
instructions are to be used.
• If removable rechargeable batteries are used,they
are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the
toy before they are charged.
• If you use a battery charger,it should be examined
regularly for damage to the cord,plug,enclosure
and other parts.Do not use a damaged battery
charger until it has been properly repaired.

• Press the Flip Flop Caterpillar’s nose to see it light
up and hear a short song.
• Sqeeze the squeaker near the caterpillar's tail.

• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy and
remove the sound and light box from the clips

• Place the toy in a pillowcase and machine wash
cold on a gentle cycle.Do not use bleach.Line dry
the toy.
• Fit the tabs on the sound unit into the slots in the
clips and close the fasteners on the toy.
• Do not immerse the sound and light box.
