! WARNUNG! Der Sitz ist nicht für die Verwendung
mit einem 2-Punkt- oder Beckengurt geeignet.
Wird der Sitz mit einem 2-Punkt-Gurt gesichert,
kann es bei einem Unfall zu schweren oder gar
tödlichen Verletzungen des Kindes kommen.

ZUM SCHUTZ DES FAHRZEUGS
An einigen Autositzen aus empfindlichem Material
(z.B. Velours, Leder, etc.) können durch die Benutzung
von Kindersitzen mögliche Gebrauchsspuren und/oder
Abfärbungen auftreten. Um das zu vermeiden, können
Sie z.B. eine Decke oder ein Handtuch unterlegen. Die
Verwendung der mitgelieferten ISOFIX Einführhilfen
bietet dem Autositz weiteren Schutz. Zur Installation
siehe Kapitel: „EINBAU DES KINDERSITZES INS FAHR-
ZEUG“. Ferner weisen wir in diesem Zusammenhang auf
unsere Reinigungshinweise hin, die vor der ersten Ver-
wendung des Sitzes unbedingt beachtet werden sollten.
DER RICHTIGE PLATZ IM FAHRZEUG
Für die Befestigung mit ISOFIX und Top Tether Gurt
besteht eine „universale“ Zulassung in Gr. 1. Für die
Befestigung mit ISOFIX Connect und Top Tether Con-
nect Gurt besteht eine „semi-universale“ Zulassung in
Gr. 2/3. Nicht jedes Fahrzeug ist mit ISOFIX und Top
Tether Befestigungspunkten ausgestattet.
Die zugelassenen Fahrzeuge entnehmen Sie bitte der
beigelegten Fahrzeugtypenliste. Die aktuelle Version
erhalten Sie auf www.gb-online.com.

PROTECTING THE VEHICLE
Traces of use and/or discolouration can appear on some
vehicle seats made from delicate materials (e.g. velour,
leather, etc.) if car seats are used. You can avoid this by
putting, e.g. a blanket or a towel underneath the car
seat. Usage of the provided ISOFIX guides will further
protect the vehicle seat. For installation see section:
‘INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT’. In this context also see
our cleaning directions. It is essential that these are
followed before the first use of the car seat.
CORRECT POSITION IN THE VEHICLE
A ‘universal’ certification is given to an attachment
through ISOFIX and Top Tether belt in Gr. 1. A ‘semi-
universal’ certification is given to an attachment through
ISOFIX Connect and Top Tether Connect belt in Gr.2/3.
Not every car is equipped with ISOFIX and Top Tether
attachment points. Therefore, please refer to the
enclosed vehicle type list for approved vehicles.

! WARNING! The car seat is not suitable for use
with a two-point or lap belt. If the seat is secured
using a two-point belt, an accident may result in
severe or even fatal injuries to the child.
PROTEZIONE VEICOLO
Segni di utilizzo e/o scolorimento possono apparire sui
sedili di alcuni veicoli realizzati con materiali delicati (per
es. velluto, cuoio, ecc.) se si utilizzano seggiolini auto.
Questo è evitabile utilizzando ad esempio un telo o un
asciugamano sotto al seggiolino. L’uso delle guide
ISOFIX fornite proteggerà ulteriormente il sedile del
veicolo. Per l’installazione consultare la sezione:
“INSTALLAZIONE DEL SEGGIOLINO AUTO”. In questo
contesto, consultare anche le istruzioni per la pulizia. È
essenziale che vengano seguite prima del primo utilizzo
del seggiolino auto.
POSIZIONE CORRETTA NEL VEICOLO
Una certificazione “universale” viene fornita a un aggan-
cio tramite ISOFIX e cintura Top Tether nel Gr. 1. Una
certificazione “semi-universale” viene fornita a un ag-
gancio tramite ISOFIX Connect e cintura Top Tether
Connect nel Gr. 2/3. Non tutte le auto sono dotate di
punti di aggancio ISOFIX e Top Tether. Pertanto, fare
riferimento all’elenco delle tipologie di veicoli allegato
per conoscere i veicoli approvati. La versione più aggior-
nata è disponibile all’indirizzo www.gb-online.com.
! ATTENZIONE! Il seggiolino auto non è adatto
all’uso con cintura a due punti o cintura addomi-
nale. Se il sedile è fissato con una cintura a due
punti, un incidente può provocare lesioni gravi o
addirittura fatali al bambino.

! WARNUNG! Der Diagonalgurt muss schräg nach
hinten verlaufen und darf nie nach vorn zum
oberen Gurtumlenkungspunkt in Ihrem Fahrzeug
führen. Sollte dies nicht einzustellen sein, z.B. durch
Vorschieben des Autositzes oder Verwendung
auf einem anderen Sitzplatz, so ist der Kindersitz
für dieses Fahrzeug nicht geeignet. Im Zweifelsfall
wenden Sie sich an den Kindersitzhersteller.
! WARNUNG! Gepäckstücke oder andere Gegen-
stände im Fahrzeug, welche bei einem Unfall Ver-
letzungen verursachen können, müssen immer
gut befestigt werden. Sie können zu tödlichen
Geschossen im Fahrzeug werden.
! WARNUNG! Auf Fahrzeugplätzen, die quer zur
Fahrtrichtung angeordnet sind, ist die Verwendung
des Sitzes nicht zulässig. Auf rückwärtsgerichteten
Fahrzeugsitzen, wie z.B. in einem Van oder Mini-
bus, ist die Verwendung zulässig, sofern der Fahr-
zeugsitz für die Beförderung eines Erwachsenen
zugelassen ist. Zu beachten ist, dass die Kopf-
stütze bei rückwärtsgerichtetem Einbau nicht
entfernt werden darf!
! WARNUNG! Bitte lassen Sie Ihr Kind nie unbeauf-
sichtigt im Fahrzeug zurück. Die Kunststoteile
des Kindersitzes heizen sich in der Sonne auf. Ihr
Kind kann sich daran verbrennen. Schützen Sie Ihr
Kind und den Kindersitz vor intensiver Sonnen-
einstrahlung (z.B. indem Sie ein helles Tuch über
den Sitz legen).

! WARNING! The diagonal belt must run back at a
recline and must never run forward to the upper
belt point in your vehicle. If it is not possible to
adjust the seat in this way, e.g. by pushing the car
seat forward or using it on another seat, this car
seat is not suitable for your vehicle. Contact the
car seat manufacturer if in doubt.
! WARNING! Luggage or other objects present in
the vehicle that may cause injury in the event of
an accident must always be firmly secured. Other-
wise, they may be thrown, causing fatal injuries.
! WARNING! The car seat may not be used on
vehicle seats facing to the side of the direction
of travel. Use of the car seat is permitted on rear-
facing seats, e.g. in a van or minibus, provided that
the seat is permitted for transporting an adult. It is
essential to ensure that the vehicle headrest is not
removed when the child seat is installed in a rear-
ward facing vehicle seat.
! WARNING! Never leave your child unattended
in the car. The plastic parts in the child restraint
system heat up in sun and the child may sustain
burns. Protect your child and the car seat from
direct sun exposure (e.g. by covering it with a light
colored cloth).

! ATTENZIONE! La cintura diagonale deve scorrere
all’indietro e mai in avanti rispetto al punto di ag-
gancio superiore del veicolo. Se non è possibile re-
golare il sedile in questo modo, ad esempio spin-
gendo il seggiolino auto in avanti o usandolo su
un altro sedile, questo seggiolino non è adatto al
proprio veicolo. Contattare il produttore del seg-
giolino auto in caso di dubbi.
! ATTENZIONE! Bagagli o altri oggetti presenti nel
veicolo che possono causare lesioni in caso di in-
cidente devono essere fissati saldamente. In caso
contrario potrebbero essere scagliati e causare le-
sioni mortali.
! ATTENZIONE! Il seggiolino auto non può essere

della direzione di marcia. L’uso del seggiolino è
ammesso sui sedili rivolti contro il senso di marcia,
ad esempio nei minibus, a patto che il sedile sia
abilitato al trasporto di adulti. E’ importante che il
poggiatesta del sedile non venga rimosso quando
il seggiolino è installato su sedili rivolti contro il
senso di marcia.
! ATTENZIONE! Non lasciare mai il bambino incu-
stodito nell’auto. Le parti in plastica del seggiolino
tendono a riscaldarsi se esposte al sole diretto con
pericolo di scottature per il bambino. Proteggere
il bambino ed il seggiolino da un’eccessiva espo-
sizione al sole diretto (per esempio stendendo un
telo chiaro sopra il seggiolino).

! WARNUNG! Der Kindersitz muss, auch dann,
wenn er nicht benutzt wird, immer korrekt
im Fahrzeug befestigt sein. Bereits bei einer
Notbremsung oder einem geringen Aufprall
können unbefestigte Teile andere Mitfahrer und
Sie selbst verletzen.

• you properly secure all objects likely to cause injury in

sempre fissato correttamente nel veicolo anche
quando non è in uso. In caso di brusche frenate o
di incidente, un seggiolino non fissato può ferire i
passeggeri o il guidatore.
Al fine di garantire la migliore sicurezza possibile per
tutti i passeggeri, assicurarsi che...
• gli schienali ripiegabili del veicolo siano bloccati in
posizione verticale.
• gli oggetti che potrebbero causare lesioni in caso di
incidente siano fissati correttamente.
• tutti i passeggeri abbiano le cinture allacciate.

VOR DEM ERSTEN GEBRAUCH
Um den akustischen Signalgeber funktionstüchtig zu
machen, entfernen Sie bitte die Plastiklasche (1), die den
Top Tether Gurt (2) mit der Rückseite des Kindersitzes
verbindet. Dazu lösen Sie bitte den Top Tether Gurt (2)
aus der Parkposition (3). Nun ertönt ein charakteristi-
scher Warnton.
Dieser Warnton dient als Erinnerung, den Top Tether
Gurt zu installieren (siehe Kapitel: „INSTALLATION DES
KINDERSITZES“).
HINWEIS! Wenn der Top Tether Gurt (2) nicht in der
Parkposition (3) eingerastet und die Plastiklasche (1)
entfernt ist und trotzdem kein Warnton ertönt, wechseln
Sie die Batterie (siehe Kapitel: „BATTERIEWECHSEL“).

BEFORE FIRST USE
For the acoustic indicator to be working, it is mandatory
to remove the plastic lock (1) that links the Top Tether
(2) to the backside of the car seat. Therefore, remove
the Top Tether (2) from the storage position (3). A char-
acteristic noise will start.
This warning signal is a reminder to install the Top
Tether (see section: ‘INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT ’).
NOTE! If the Top Tether (2) is detached from storage
position (3) and the plastic lock (1) is removed and
there is no noise, you have to change the battery
(see section: ‘HOW TO CHANGE BATTERY’).
PRIMA DEL PRIMO UTILIZZO
Anché l’indicatore acustico funzioni, è obbligatorio
rimuovere il lucchetto di plastica (1) che collega il Top
Tether (2) al retro del seggiolino. Pertanto, rimuovere il
Top Tether (2) dalla posizione di stoccaggio (3). Si sen-
tirà un suono caratteristico.
Questo segnale di avviso è un promemoria per installare
il Top Tether (consultare la sezione: “INSTALLAZIONE
DEL SEGGIOLINO AUTO”).
NOTA: se il Top Tether (2) è staccato dalla posizione di
stoccaggio (3) e il blocco di plastica (1) viene rimosso
e non si sente alcun rumore, è necessario sostituire la
batteria (consultare la sezione: “COME SOSTITUIRE LA
BATTERIA”).

! WARNUNG! Um den größtmöglichen Schutz für
das Kind zu gewährleisten, sollte die Rückenlehne
des Kindersitzes an der Rückenlehne des
Fahrzeuges möglichst vollflächig aufliegen.
! WARNUNG! Benutzen Sie niemals andere als die
in der Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen und
am Sitz markierten Punkte, um den Kindersitz zu
befestigen.

Stellen Sie den Kindersitz auf den entsprechenden Fahr-
zeugsitz im Auto.
• Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, dass die Rückenlehne
des Kindersitzes in aufrechter Position möglichst
vollflächig an der Rückenlehne des Fahrzeugsitzes
anliegt.
• Sollte die Kopfstütze des Fahrzeuges störend sein,
ziehen Sie diese ganz heraus oder nehmen Sie diese
ganz ab (Ausnahme siehe Abschnitt „DER RICHTIGE
PLATZ IM FAHRZEUG“).
