Allgemeine Hinweise
-Ein unsicher aufgestelltes Motorrad kann bei den folgenden Arbeiten umfallen! Achten Sie darauf, dass
das Fahrzeug sicher steht.
-Verbrennungsgefahr bei heissem Motor und Auspuff! Vor Beginn der Arbeit heiße Fahrzeugteile abkühlen
lassen.
-Kinder und Tiere aus dem Arbeitsbereich fernhalten.
-Schmuck (Uhr, Ringe, Ketten, etc) vor Arbeitsbeginn ablegen.Es besteht Unfallgefahr durch Hängenbleiben
oder elektrischen Kurzschluss.
-Die Montage und Funktion bezieht sich ausschliesslich auf Serienmotorräder.
-Wir übenehmen keine Gewährleistung für die Verwendung an Sonderumbauten und von
Sonderzubehörteilen.
-Nach Montage des Produkts durch eine Werkstatt, ist diese Anbauanleitung dem Kunden auszuhändigen.
-Bewahren Sie die Anbauanleitung sorgfältig auf, und geben Sie dieses Produkt nur mit dieser
Anbauanleitung an Dritte weiter.

Montagehinweise
-Alle Schrauben und Muttern werden mit Drehmoment nach DIN/ISO festgezogen. Abweichende
Drehmomente werden angegeben.
-Lagerungen und Schraubverbindungen sind mit einem geeigneten Schmiermittel einzusetzten, um ein
Festfressen zu verhindern.
-Arbeiten und Entlüftung am Bremssystems sind nur von fachkundigem Personal durchzuführen.
-Es ist unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass keine Züge, Kabel oder Leitungen (insbesondere Bremsleitungen)
andere Fahrzeugkomponenten berühren oder daran scheuern.
-Nach jeder Montage sind alle Schrauben auf festen Sitz und das vorgeschriebenes Drehmoment zu
überprüfen.
-Es ist unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass alle Teile immer einen Mindesabstand von 5mm zu beweglichen
Fahrzeugteilen haben.
Diese Anbauanleitung ist sorgfältig und vollständig vor Beginn der
Einbauarbeiten durchzulesen.

General instructions
-Please ensure the motorcycle is adequately secured before commencing work.
-Always make sure that the motorcycle is stable and firmly supported.
-A hot engine and exhaust system can burn. Allow all hot parts to cool before commencing work.
-Keep children and household pets well away from the work zone.
-Remove all items of personal jewellry (rings, chains,wristwatch, etc.) before commencing work.
-The fitment instructions relate only to the fitment on a standart motorcycles.
-We cannot warranty or legislate for interaction or interference with non standard or custom parts.
-If a technican is installing the parts please ensure these instructions are passed to the owner.
-Please keep the instruction manual at a safe place. In case of selling our product, please hand the
installation instructions over to the new owner.

Operating licence
-Always comply with the regulations regarding approval in the country of use.
-For the Federal Republic of Germany:
A entry in the vehicle´s registration papers is not required ! ABE
Assembling note
-Screws, bolts and nuts are tightened in accordance with the applicable DIN/ISO standarts. Tightening
torques that deviate from the standards are stated.
-All threaded connections and bearings must be greased with suitable grease. Please be careful with the
tools to avoid i.e. scratches.
-Mounting and bleeding at the brake system only by skilled personal.
-Take care that no wires and hoses (especially brake hoses) are too close or touching other components or
moving parts.
-After each mounting check all bolts for correct tightening and specified torque moment.
-Take care that any parts always have a minimum clearence of 5 mm to any moving parts.

-ES WIRD EMPFOHLEN DIE ANLAGE VON EINER FACHWERKSTATT INSTALLIEREN ZU LASSEN.
-INSTALLATION RECOMMENDED BY AN OFFICIAL DEALER/ WORKSHOP.
A: Originale Rastenanlage demontieren und Auspuff sowie Schwinge durch abdecken gegen Beschädigungen
schützen. Kunststoffstopfen 4070-SA in das dargestellte M8-Gewinde eindrücken.
B: Die beiden Schrauben M8x20-14583-VA-TX gemäß Darstellung in den Hauptrahmen ca 5mm tief eindrehen. An
der unteren Schraubverbindung zusätzlich die Distanz DS 20-8-4 verwenden!
A: Detach the original rearset and use protective foil to cover the exhaust and swing arm to avoid scratches. Press
the plastic plug 4070-SA inside the marked M8- inner thread.
B: Srew the bolts M8x20-14583-VA-TX approximately 5mm deep inside the main frame.
Use the spacer DS 20-8-4 at the lower mounting point like the picture shows!

C: Schieben Sie die Rastenanlage seitlich unter die Schraubenköpfe. Schrauben Sie die Anlage handfest gegen den
Rahmen! (Bremshebel nach unten drücken um den unteren Schraubenkopf fest zu ziehen)
C: Push the rearset from the side under both bolt heads. Install the rearset hand- tight to the frame! (you reach the
lower bolt head by pushing the brake lever)

Stellen Sie ihre persönliche, ergonomische Bremshebelhöhe ein. Verdrehen Sie zum vornehmen der Einstellung den
Exzenter FXR-EX-01!
D1: Verstellung des Bremshebels nach oben! D2: Verstellung des Bremshebels nach unten!
D3: Achtung: Die mit Xmarkierten Flächen des Exzenters auf keinen Fall als Anschlagflächen benutzen. Gefahr des
Lösens und Aufdrehens.
D4: Fixieren/ kontern Sie die Einstellung am Exzenter durch festziehen der Schraube M5x16-912.
Adjust your personal, ergonomic brake lever height. Adjust it by turning the excentric FXR-EX-01!
D1: Adjustment into higher brake lever position! D2: Adjustment into lower brake lever position!
D3: Attention: The Xmarked area of the excentric can not be used for locating surface. Danger of untwisting.
D4: Fix/ counter your adjustments at the excentric by tightening the bolt M5x16-912.

Anlage vom Rahmen demontieren (nicht dargestellt)!
E: Feder RZ-115NI aushängen. Bremslichschalter passend zur
gewählten Exzentereinstellung (Schritt D4) feinjustieren.
Betätigen des Bremshebels muss zu einem auslösen des
Schalters führen. Festziehen der Schraube M4x6-912!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 2 Nm (oder handfest)
Feder wieder einhängen.
Detach the rearset from the frame (not pictured)!
E: Put out the spring RZ-115NI like shown in the picture. Make
the fine adjustment of the brake light switch in relation to the
chosen excentric adjustment (step D4).
The switch needs to trigger sensitive when pushing the brake
lever down. Tighten the bolt M4x6-912!
Tightening torque: 2 Nm (or hand- tight)

H1: Den originalen Bremslichtschalter abtrennen!
H2: Die Kabel des neuen Schalters auf die benötigte Länge kürzen. Kabellängen bei angebauter Rastenanalage
beurteilen (nicht dargestellt). Die Verbindung aus Originalkabelbaum und Kabel des Austauschachalters darf später
nicht gestrafft sein- Leichter Bogen wie vorher im OE- Status!
H1: Cut off the original brake light switch!
H2: Cut off the cables of the new brake light switch to the required length. Rate the status and meassure the length by
an installed rearset (not pictured). Include a small bow like OE- status before. No tension at the connection of original
cable harness and switch cables!

I: Kabel des Bremslichtschalters mit Hilfe der beiden
Verbinder 01-0110058 an den Kabelbaum anschließen.
Hinweis: Anschlussfarben grau und braun!!!
(blau ohne Funktion)
Isolieren Sie die Verbindung und den Kabelbund und
verlegen Sie diesen letzten Endes (nicht dargestellt)!
I: Connect the cables of the brake light switch by both
connector 01-0110058 with the original cable harness.
Special Note: Use only the grey and brown cable!!!
(blue cable without function)
Insulate the connection and the whole harness and lay it
ultimately behind the rearset to the frame (not pictured)!

F: Drehen Sie den Bremszylinderadapter UAD03-40 auf
die Betätigungsstange des Bremszylinders.
Die originale Kontermutter findet dabei Verwendung.
G: Fetten Sie den Bremsbolzen BR-07. Normales,
handelsübliches Industriefett
F: Screw the brake cylinder adapter UAD03-40 onto the
master cylinder`s actuating rod. Use the original counter
nut.
G: Grease the brake bolt BR-07 of the brake lever with
standard, industrial grease.

J: Stecken Sie die Fussrastenanlage mit dem gefetteten Bremsbolzen in den Bremsenadapter.
Montieren Sie die Rastenanlage an den Rahmen und schrauben Sie diese fest. (2 Schrauben, M8x20-14583)
Anzugsdrehmomente: 20 Nm
J: Put the rearset with the greased brake bolt into the adapter. Install the rearset to the main frame (2 bolts, M8x20-
14583) and tighten it with the specified torque.
Tightening torques: 20 Nm

K: Drehen Sie die Betätigungsstange (Schlüsselfläche unterhalb der Gummimanschette) des Bremszylinders mittels
Maulschlüssel (8) hinein oder heraus, sodass die Bohrungen des Bremszylinders deckungsgleich mit den Bohrungen
der Rastenanlage sind- Beide in einer Flucht (anderfalls stimmt das Bremsenspiel nicht)!
K: Turn the master cylinder`s actuating rod (spanner flat under the rubber sleeve) in or out by using a open- end
wrench (8) , so that the master cylinder `s holes fall in line with the holes of the rearset - Both in alignment
(otherwise the brake freeplay is not correctly adjusted)!

L: Kontern Sie die Einstellung des Adapter UAD03-40 wie
im Bild dargestellt (Maulschlüssel 12)
Anziehen mit Gefühl und ohne grobe Gewalt.
L: Fix the adjustment of the adapter UAD03-40 like shown
in the picture (open- end wrench 12).
Smooth tightening without brute force.

M: Montieren Sie den Hauptbremszylinder auf die dargestellte Weise an die Rastenanlage. Die beiden Schrauben
M6x25-7380 sind durch den Fersenschützer CAR03-R 6-49 zu führen und letzten Endes mit dem angegebenen
Anzugsdrehmoment, mit dem Bremszylinder zu verschrauben.
Anzugsdrehmomente: 10 Nm
M: Install the master cylinder in the shown way with the rearset. Put both bolts M6x25-7380 through the holes of the
delivered heel guard CAR03-R 6-49.Connect the bolts with the specified tightening torques to the brake master
cylinder.
Tightening torques: 10 Nm
-Die beiden Schrauben müssen sich aufgrund der Einstellung von Schritt K leichtgängig eindrehen lassen!
-The bolts should be screwed in without high resistance, if aligned properly by step K!

N Funktionsprüfung der Bremse! / Check the function of the brake!
N: Überprüfen des Bremsspieles durch drehen des Hinterrades und Betätigen der Bremse mit der Hand (siehe Bild).
Sollte das Bremsspiel durch die Einstellung nicht ausreichen (Bremsbeläge liegen an/schleifen)
oder zu groß sein (zu viel Leerweg bis Druckpunkt) kann durch nochmaliges rein- oder rausdrehen der
Betätigungsstange (zurück in Schritt K) korrigiert werden. Der Bremshebel muss ein spürbares Spiel aufweisen bevor
der Bremskolben betätigt wird!
N: Test the brake freeplay by spinning the rear wheel and pressing the brake by hand (like shown in the picture). If the
brake clearance/ freeplay in is not enough (brake linings fit/grind) or too much (too much lever travel until pressure
point), you can turn the actuating rod in or out to adjust it (back in step K). The brake lever must have noticeable
freeplay before the brake piston gets pressed!
-Zur Durchführung des folgenden Tests sollte das Hinterrad frei drehbar in der Luft sein!
-For the following test the rear wheel should be able to spin free!

the marked M8- inner thread.

3 Rastenanlage mittels Schaltwelle an originalen Schaltarm anbinden.
-a: Drehen Sie das Außengewinde (Rechtsgewinde) der Schaltwelle USW14 mit einem Gewindegang in den
originalen Kugelkopf.
-b: Die Rastenanlage mit dessen Kugelkopf (Linksgewinde) gerade an das Schaltwellenende heranführen.
3 Connect the rearset by the shift rod to the OE- gear arm.
-a: Screw the external thread (right hand thread) of the shift rod USW14 one turn into the original ball bearing.
-b: Bring the rearset`s ball bearing (left hand thread) in straight alignment to the shift rod`s end.

4 Die Schalthebelhöhe gemäß Darstellung einstellen.
-a: Drehen Sie die Schaltwelle bis diese mit deren Kontermutter gegen den OE- Kugelkopf des Schaltarmes
anschlägt (Detail)!
-b: Die Schalthebelhöhe ist jetzt eingestellt und die Kontermutter des unteren Kugelkopfes wird gegen die Schaltwelle
gedreht (nicht dargestellt)!
4 Adjust the gear lever height like the picture shows.
-a: Screw the shift rod until its lock nut cast on the gear arms OE- ball bearing (detail)!
-b: Lever height is now adjusted. Turn the lock nut of the lower ball bearing against the shift rod (not pictured)!

5: Schieben Sie die Rastenanlage unter die Schraubenköpfe
in Richtung Anschraubpunkte.
Montieren Sie die Rastenanlage an den Rahmen und
schrauben Sie diese fest (2 Schrauben, M8x20-14583).
Anzugsdrehmomente: 20 Nm
5: Push the rearset under the bolt heads in direction to
the mounting points. Install it to the frame and tighten it
(2 bolts, M8x20-14583).

8: Kontern Sie die Verbindung des OE-Gelenkkopfes zur
Schaltwelle (nicht dargestellt) und die Verbindung des
Schalthebel- Gelenkkopfes zur Schaltwelle.
Beide Gelenkköpfe müssen in einer Flucht liegen!
8: Counter the Connection of the OE- ball bearing to the
shift rod (not pictured) and the connection of the gear
lever`s ball bearing to the shif rod.
Take care that both ball bearing are in alignment!
6: Die Schaltwelle steht aufgrund des Vorgehens in Schritt 4 in einem ungefähren Winkel von 90 Grad zum Schaltarm
und 90 Grad zum Schalthebel.
7: Die Trittstückhöhe ist eingestellt. Das Trittstück darf nicht tiefer eingestellt werden! Lediglich der
Kugelgelenkkopf (Verbindung A) könnte zur Erhöhung der Trittstückhöhe tiefer in die Welle eingetreht werden.
6: The shift rod has in cause of step 4 the optimal angle of roughly 90 degrees to the gear arm and gear lever.
7: The height of the toe piece is adjusted. Do not adjust it into lower positions! Only the specified ball bearing
(connection A) could be srewed inside the shift rod a little bit for making fine adjustments into a higher gear lever
setting.

Einstellungen/ Adjustments
1: Entfernen Sie die Fussrate um Ihre neue, individuelle Sitzposition auf der Fussrastenanlage einzustellen.
Ablauf auf rechter und linker Seite identisch (R=L)!
1: Remove the footpeg to adjust your new and individual ridingposition on the rearset system`s basic plate.
Procedure is on the right and left side the same (R=L)!
1.1 / 1.2: Entfernen Sie die Schraube (M4x8-14583) und den Bolzen (RG-BO-01) gemäß der Darstellungen.
1.1 / 1.2: Detach the screw screw (M4x8-14583) and the bolt (RG-BO-01) according to the pictures.

1.3: Ziehen Sie am Rastenkörper (a) und schwenken Sie diesen aus dem Gelenk (RG-870) heraus (b).
1.4: Demontieren Sie die Schraube M8x16-912 und somit das Gelenk RG-870.

3 Einstellvorgabe: Fußraste darf nur nach oben und leicht nach hinten klappen (ca. 45 Winkelgrad).

4: Montieren Sie die Fussraste in umgekehrter Reihenfolge zur Demontage (Schritte 1.1 bis 1.4).
4: Install the footpeg in turned direction to the disassembling steps (step 1.1 till 1.4).

-Die Zentralschraube entfernen um den Ausleger samt Rastenkörper auf der Verzahnung neu zu positionieren!
-Nach dem Verstellen innerhalb der max.-und min.-Markierung ist die Schraube wieder zu montieren!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm
-Loosen the central bolt to reposition the extension with footpeg on the rearset`s gearing!
-You have to tighten the bolt again after doing the adjustment in the range of the max.-and min.-engravings!
Tightening torque: 20 Nm

6. Trittstückverstellung

-Nach dem Verstellen innerhalb der drei Positionen ist
die Schraube wieder zu montieren!
Anzugsdrehmment: 10 Nm
-Loosen the bolt to reposition the toe piece.
-You have to tighten the bolt again after adjustment
within the three positions!
Tightening torque: 10 Nm
