Assembling note
-Screws, bolts and nuts are tightened in accordance with the applicable DIN/ISO standarts. Tightening
torques that deviate from the standards are stated.
-All threaded connections and bearings must be greased with suitable grease. Please be careful with the
tools to avoid i.e. scratches.
-Mounting and bleeding at the brake system only by skilled personal.
-Take care that no wires and hoses (especially brake hoses) are too close or touching other components or
moving parts.

-Original Rastenanlage demontieren und Auspuff durch Abdecken gegen Beschädigungen schützen wie in
Bild 1 dargestellt.
-Übernehmen Sie das originale Halteblech des Bremslichtschalters auf die RCT10GT Rastenanlage (Bild
2). (M6x20-7380 + Unterlegscheibe 6,4-DIN 9021). Anzugsdrehmoment: 10 Nm
-Detach original rearset like shown in picture 1 and use protective foil to cover the exhaust to avoid
scratches.
-Transfer the original stop light switch bracket to the RCT10GT rearset (picture 2). (M6x20-7380 + washer
6,4-DIN 9021) Tightening torque: 10 Nm
-Montieren Sie den Bremslichtschalter- Einhängen der Originalfeder in Öse des Bremshebels (Bild 3)!
-Installieren Sie die Rastenanlage! Fixiert wird nur mit der unteren OEM- Schraube (Bild 4).
Anzugsdrehmoment: vorerst handfest!
-Verlegen Sie das Kabel wie in Darstellung 5! (Es wird kein Kabelbinder benötigt)
-ES WIRD EMPFOHLEN DIE ANLAGE VON EINER YAMAHA- FACHWERKSTATT INSTALLIEREN ZU LASSEN. Diese

-Install the brake light switch- Connect the original spring to the brake lever (picture 3).
-Install the rearset! Fix it solely at the lower connection. Use the OEM- bolt (picture 4).
Tightening torque: hand- tight for the moment!
- Align the cable like picture 5 shows! (cable tie is not needed)
-Drehen Sie den Bremszylinderadapter UAD03-23 auf die Betätigungsstange des Bremszylinder und
stecken Sie diesen dann auf den Betätigungsbolzen des Bremshebels (Bild 6). (originale, schwarze
Kontermutter findet Verwendung)
-Zum Einstellen des Bremsspiels wird die Betätigungsstange und somit der Bremszylinders hoch oder
runter geschraubt (innerhalb des UAD03-23), sodass die Bohrungen der Bremszylinder- Halteplatte RCT-
BU-01 deckungsgleich mit den M8- gewinden des Bremszylinders stehen- Eine Flucht! (Bild 7). (Mit
Maulschlüssel 10 an der Schlüsselweite unterhalb der Staubschutzmanschette drehen wie im Detail der
Bilder 6/7 gezeigt)
-Screw the brake cylinder adapter UAD03-23 onto the master cylinder`s actuating rod and connect it to the
brake lever`s actuating pin (picture 6). (use the original, black counter nut)
-Turn the actuating rod and consequently the master cylinder up and down to adjust the brake clearence/
freeplay until the holes of the master cylinder holder RCT-BU-01 fall in line with the M8- threads of the
master cylinder. Both in alignment! (picture 7).
(Adjust with a open- end wrench size 10 below the dust cover like shown in detail in picture 6/7)

-Überprüfen des Bremsspieles durch Drehen des Hinterrades und Betätigen der Bremse mit der Hand (Bild
10). Sollte das Bremsspiel durch die Einstellung nicht ausreichen (Bremsbeläge liegen an/schleifen) oder
zu groß sein (zu viel Leerweg bis Druckpunkt) kann durch nochmaliges rein- oder rausdrehen der
Betätigungsstange (zurück in Schritt 7) korrigiert werden. Der Bremshebel muss ein spürbares Spiel
aufweisen bevor der Bremskolben betätigt wird!
-Test the brake freeplay by spinning the rear wheel and pressing the brake by hand (picture 10).
If the brake clearance/ freeplay in is not enough (brake linings fit/grind) or too much (too much lever travel
until pressure point), you can turn the actuating rod in or out to adjust it (back in step 7). The brake lever
must have noticable freeplay before the brake piston gets pressed!
-Zur Durchführung des folgenden Tests sollte das Hinterrad frei drehbar in der Luft sein!

-Montieren Sie den Bremszylinderschutz wie in Bild 8 dargestellt. Die Schrauben M8x25-7380 müssen
sich dabei wegen Schritt 7 leichtgängig einschrauben lassen! Festziehen! Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm
-Kontern der Mutter gegen den Adapter UAD03-23 (Bild 9).
-Mount the master cylinder- guard like picture 8 shows. The bolts M8x25-7380 should be able to screw in
without high resistance due to the alignment in step 7. Tightening torque: 20 Nm
-Counter the nut against the adapter UAD03-23 (picture 9).

-Der folgende Arbeitsgang ist sehr anspruchsvoll und sollte nur von fachkundigem Personal,
sowie zwei Personen durchgeführt werden! (Eine Person, die das Motorrad gegen Umfallen
sichert!) GEHEN SIE KEIN RISIKO EIN- Verletzungsgefahr, sowie Beschädigungen am Motorrad
möglich!
-The following step is very demanding and should only be done by highly qualified machanics,
and only by two persons ( One person for securing the bike against tumbling down!) DON`T PUT
YOUR HEALTH AND THE BIKE ON STAKE!
-Bocken Sie das Motorrad mittels Montageständer (und Prismabuchsen an der Schwinge) auf und
gewährleisten Sie einen stabilen, senkrechten Stand! Damit das Motorrad nicht aus den Aufnahmeklauen
rausgehoben werden kann ist die Schwinge mit einem Spanngurt nach unten zu verspannen (Bild 11).
(Spanngurt unter der Hebebühne durchgeführt)
-Den Motor anschließend mit einem Wagenheber neben der Ablasschraube an der Ölwanne
(Zwischenlage aus Holz) Anheben, um die Schwingenlagerung zu entlasten (Bild 12).
-Lift up the motorcycle by using a paddock stand (and bobbins on the swingarm). Make sure, the bike
stands stable and verticaly aligned! To ensure that the bike cannot slip out of the receiving claws, pull down
the swingarm with a tension belt (picture 11). (Let the tension belt pass below the lifting ramp)
-After that, lift the engine with a jack at the oil pan next to the drain plug (use a layer of wood) to relieve the
swingarm bearing (picture 12).

-Sie benötigen für die folgenden Schritte eine Ersatzwelle zum
Austreiben der originalen Schwingenachse. Diese muss im
Durchmesser dünner sein als die Originalachse (Ø<16mm),
ungefähr 350mm lang sein, gerade und glatt (Bild 13).
-For the following steps, you need a replacement axle to cast out the
swingarm axle. The outer diameter needs to be thinner than the
original one (Ø<16mm), approximately 350mm long, straight with a
fine surface (picture 13).

-Nehmen Sie nach dem Anheben des Motors und somit der Entlastung der Schwingenlagerung die
Ersatzachse und treiben Sie damit die originale Schwingenachse aus. Die Achsen müssen sich ohne
hohen Wiederstand und Kraftaufwand tauschen lassen (Bild 14). (Die Ersatzachse verbleibt für die
nächsten Arbeitsschritte in der Schwinge)
-Once the engine has been lifted, take the replacement axle and cast out the original axle. One axle should
be replaceable by the other without great effort (picture 14). (For the next steps the replacement axle stays
in the swingarm)

-Originale Rastenanlage demontieren wie in Bild 15 dargestellt.
-Detach original rearset like shown in picture 15.

-Installieren Sie die RCT10GT Rastenanlage! Fixiert wird nur mit der unteren OEM- Schraube (Bild 16)
-Treiben Sie nun in umgekehrter Reihenfolge zu Schritt 14 mit der Originalachse die Ersatzachse hinaus
(Sicherungsblech nicht vergessen) (Schritt 17).
-Install the RCT10GT rearset Fix it only at the lower connection with the OEM- bolt (picture 16).
-Cast the original axle back in again, in reverse order to working step 14 (do not forget locking plate) (step
17).

-Tighten the connection of the swingarm axle and both bolted connections of the basic plates. Torque
according to instructions in picture 18!

-Drehen Sie das Außengewinde (Rechtsgewinde) der Schaltwelle mit einem Gewindegang in den
originalen Kugelkopf (Bild 1).
-Ansetzen der Schaltstange an den bereits angeschraubten Kugelkopf (Linksgewinde) des Bremshebels
(Bild 2). Durch Drehen der Schaltwelle verschrauben sich die Bauteile gleichmäßig ineinander!
-Screw the gear shaft`s external thread (right hand thread) one turn into the original ball bearing (picture
1).
-Attach the gear shaft to the already mounted ball bearing (left hand thread) of the brake lever (picture 2).
The components screw in evenly into each other by rotating the gear shaft!

-Drehen Sie die Schaltwelle bis diese mit deren Kontermutter gegen den OEM- Kugelkopf des
Schaltarmes anschlägt (Bild 3)!
- Die Schalthebelhöhe ist jetzt eingestellt und die Kontermutter des unteren Kugelkopfes wird gegen die
Schaltwelle gedreht (Bild 4)! (Kontert der beiden Verbindungen in Schritt 5)
-Screw the gear shaft until its lock nut cast on the gear arms OEM- ball bearing (picture 3)!
-The lever height is now adjusted and the lock nut of the lower ball bearing has to be turned against the
shaft (picture 4)! (Countering of both connections in step 5)

-Durch die Arbeitsschritte in Bild 1 bis 4 ist indirekt die richtige Hebelhöhe gewährleistet und es wird
empfohlen später nur noch über das Excentertrittstück die persönliche, ergonomische Einstellung
zu definieren (und nicht durch Verdrehen der Schaltwelle)!
-Fixieren/ Kontern Sie die Einstellung der Schaltwelle und deren Kugelköpfe wie in dem Detail A und B
dargestellt! (Maulschlüssel 8 zum gegenhalten an der Schlüsselfläche der Schaltwelle und Maulschlüssel
10 für die Muttern)
-Afer adjusting the gear lever`s height by acting the work steps in picture 1 till 4, do the fine tuning
according to your personal preferences by adjusting the lever`s toe piece! It is recommended to adjust
the personal lever height only at the toe piece (and not by turning the gear shaft)!
-Keep the gear shaft in place by countering the nuts like shown on detail A and B! (Use a open-end
wrench size 8 to fix the gear shaft while you`re countering with an open-end wrench size 10)

Stellung 1 in Stellung 2:
-Zur Verstellung der Aufnahmeplatte
RCT-UV01 ist zunächst die Klemm-
schraube und das Sicherungsblech zu
entfernen (Bild 1)!
Position 1 to position 2:
-Remove the clamping bolt and the
locking plate to change the position of
the adjustment plate RCT-UV01 (picture
1)!
-Entfernen Sie die beiden Schrauben
M8x25-7991 wie in Darstellung 2
gezeigt.
-Anschließend kann die Aufnahme-
platte auf die Alternativstellung versetzt
werden (Bild 3). Montieren und
Festziehen der Schrauben!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm
-Detach both bolts M8x25-7991 like
pointed in description 2.
-That gives you the possibility to move
the adjustment plate into the alternative
position (picture 3). Mount and tighten
the bolts!
Tightening torque: 20 Nm
-Stecken Sie die Fussraste in die
Rastenaufnahme.
-Installieren Sie die Schraube
(Sicherungsblech nicht vergessen!) und
ziehen Sie diese letztenendes an, wie in
Bild 4 gezeigt!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm !!!
-Plug the footpeg into the adjustment
plate.
-Install the clamping bolt (don`t forget
the locking plate) and tighten it again as
shown in picture 4!
Tightening torque: 20 Nm !!!

Trittstückverstellung:
-Zur Verstellung des Trittstückes ist die
Schraube M6x20-7380 zu lösen.
-Trittstück drehbar einstellen, Schraube
festziehen (Bild 7).
-Die zweite Bohrung kann ebenfalls zur
Positionierung des Exzenters genutzt
werden.
Anzugsdrehmoment: 10 Nm
Toe piece adjustment:
-Loosen the bolt M6x20-7380 to adjust
the toe piece.
-Turn the toe piece to desired position,
re-tighten bolt (picture 7).
-The second hole can also be used and
offers more options to adjust.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Höhenverstellung:
-Zur Verstellung der Fussrastenanlage muss die
untere Klemmschraube des Rotors
M8x30-912 gelöst werden (nicht demontieren).
-Anschließend Rotoreinheit aus Grundplatte
herausziehen und Rotor auf gewünschte Position
drehen (Bild 5).
-Mit Hilfe der Markierung linke und rechte Position
gleich einstellen und anschließend Schraube
wieder festziehen (Bild 6).
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm
Height adjustment:
-To adjust the height of the rct footrest simply
loosen (do not remove) the bolt M8x30-912.
-Pull the footrest outwards, turn to the desired
height, push footrest back in so that the 12
surfaces interlock (picture 5).
-Use markings to adjust left and right hand side
equally and and retighten the bolt M8x30-912

Fast- Stellung/ Fast- Position
-Für kürzere Schaltwege und somit einer direkteren Getriebebetätigung kann die Schaltwelle an
einem weiteren Befestigungpunkt am Schalthebel montiert werden. Position F, abweichend zur
derzeitigen Serieposition S (beachten Sie die Gravuren).
Folgen Sie den Instruktionen zum Umrüsten in die Fast- Stellung!
-For shorter shifting travel and more direct gear box activating, you can install the gear shaft on
the gear lever`s second attachment point. Position F, different from the serial
position S (note the engravings) .
Follow the instructions for converting to the Fast- Position!
-Demontieren Sie den Schaltarm, die Schaltwelle und den Schalthebel (Bild F1). Die Einstellung der
Schaltwelle muss erhalten bleiben, kein Lösen der Kontermuttern!
-Die Schaltwelle wird anschließend von der Position S (entspricht OEM) auf die Position F (Fast-
Stellung) montiert (Bild F2). Die Unterlegscheibe ULS-6,4 nicht vergessen! Anziehen der Schraube
M6x20.
Anzugsdrehmoment: 10Nm
-Detach the gear arm, gear shaft and the gear lever (picture F1). Leave the adjustments of the gear shaft
untouched- don`t open the counter nuts!
-Install the gear shaft from position S (equivalent to OEM) to position F (fast- position)(picture F2).
Don`t forget the washer ULS-6,4 between ball bearing and lever! Tighten the bolt M6x20.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Fast- Stellung/ Fast- Position
-Darstellung F3 zeigt die erneute Montage des Schaltarmes und der Montage des Schalthebels an die
Grundplatte der Rastenanlage.
-Der Schaltarm ist um einen Zahn im Uhrzeigersinn verdreht zu montieren (siehe Detail A) (im Vergleich
zur Original-, Ausgangsstellung) und die Originalschraube mit dem Herstelleranzugsdrehmoment
festzuziehen.
Anzugsdrehmoment: 14Nm
-Der Schalthebel ist wie in der Darstellung B anzuschrauben! Unterlegscheibe ULS 8,4 nicht vergessen!
Festziehen der Schraube M8x35-7991 (Schraubenkopf in die Blende BL01)!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20Nm
-Install the gear arm and the gear lever onto the rearset`s basic plate like description F3.
-Adjust the gear arm one tooth turned in clockwise direction (see detail A) (in comparison to the
original-, starting position). Tighten the original bolt with the manufacturer tightening torque.
Tightening torque: 14 Nm
-You have to assemble the gear lever like detail B shows! Don`t forget the washer ULS-8,4! Tighten the
bolt M8x35-7991 (screw head inside blind BL01)!

Umkehrschaltung/ Reverse Shifting
-Die folgenden Schritte schildern den Umbau von Normal- auf Umkehrschaltung, sprich Gang 1
einlegen durch Anheben und Gänge 2 bis 6 durch Drauftreten! Bervorzugtes Schalt-schema auf
Rennstrecken.
-The next steps describe the installation from normal- to reverse shifting. Actuating of gear 1 by
lifting and gear 2 until 6 by steping the lever! Preferred shifting style on race tracks.
-Führen Sie die Schritte F1 und F2 des Kapitels Fast- Stellung durch! Ab diesem Punkt wird
eingestiegen (Von S auf F umgeschraubt ohne die Einstellung der Schaltwelle zu lösen).
-First do the Steps F1 and F2 of chapter Fast- Position! We go on from that point (Installation from S to
F is done without changing the gear shafts).
-Der Schaltarm ist um ca 180 Grad gedreht (siehe Detail A/ Darstellung R1) zu montieren. Der
Körnerpunkt des Schaltarmes steht dabei 2 Zähne tiefer zum Anriss auf der Getriebeausgangswelle. -Die
Originalschraube des Schaltarmes mit dem Herstelleranzugsdrehmoment montieren. Um diese von der
Unterseite einsetzen/ anziehen zu können ist die Ritzelabdeckung abzuschrauben und nach unten zu
schieben (linke Seite in R1).
Anzugsdrehmoment: 14Nm
-Der Schalthebel ist wieder anzuschrauben (siehe auch Vorgehensweise in F3)! Die Schaltwelle steht
nun ungefähr in einem optimalen Winkel von 90 Grad zum Schaltarm und Schalthebel (Bild R1).
-Mount the gear arm in a nearly 180 degrees turned position (see detail A/ description R1). Set up the
gear lever`s punch mark 2 tooth below the marking crack on the transmission output shaft.
-Mount the gear levers original bolt with the manufacturer tightening torque. You have to detach the
sprocket cover and slide it down a little bit to install/ tighten the bolt from the underside of the lever (left
side in R1).
Tightening torque: 14 Nm
-Install the gear lever again (see also method in F3)! Finally the gear shaft stands nearly under an
optimal angle of 90 degrees to the gear arm and the gear lever (picture R1).
