1.1 Safety Rules

is a High-Tech Product. To guarantee a smooth operation, it
is necessary to keep following rules.
1. Make sure that the mirror of the P

N, can move without any
mechanical problems and that all fan openings are clean and not blocked by
anything.
2. Touching the mirror while moving can cause serious injuries

from the AC outlet before any service
4. It is necessary to wait at least 15 minutes after disconnecting the AC before
you open the P

5. To allow a secure operation, follow also the Installation guide described in

cables or clamps/hooks can increase the risk of an accident.
6. The installation should be done by qualified staff only. You need to pay
attention to the common rules of technology that are not explicit mentioned in

2 Installation
2.1 Mounting
Mount clamps and/or hooks directly to the bow of the P

Please make sure to use right sized clamps and hooks and fit them securely.

3.1 Adjust the DMX- Address

keys of the display to make your adjustments.
“Key 100” for the 100 digits.
“Key 10” for the 10 digits.
“Key 1” for the 1 digits.

3.2 Special Functions
3.2.1 Reset Function
After switching on the P

Na Reset is made automatically.
While the Reset „rSt“ is shown in the display.
You can make a Reset also via DMX direct from your controller. Therefore
select the following DMX- adjustments.
Channel 7 (Laser) DMX-Value: 240 – 250 (for longer than 5 sec.)
3.3 Sound Function

Nis not in the Master- Mode it will switch automatically to the
sound function if there is no DMX- Signal. If the scans should operate
synchronously you have to connect them with DMX cables. One P

is then the Master (be in Master/Send- Mode) all other scans must be in the
Receive- Mode.

3.3.1 Switch between Master- and Receive- Mode
You can switch between the Master- and Receive- Mode by holding the
“Key 100” of the display while switching on the P

For the Master/Send- Mode you see „S-F“ (fast) or „S-S“ (slow) in the
display.
For the Receive- Mode you see „rEC“ in the display.
3.3.2 Adjust the Speed of the internal Program

between Send fast or Send slow. Therefore hold the “Key 10” of the display
while switching on the P

„S-S“ (Send- Mode slow): Internal program (slow).
3.4 Switch off the Lamp
If the Shutter is closed for longer than 1 min. the lamp is switched off
automatically. By any change of the Shutter- Channel the lamp will switched on
immediately.

Nis in the sound function and there is no music signal for
longer than 1 min. the lamp will also switched off automatically. After any music
signal the lamp will switched on immediately.

3.5 Temperate Control
Deviates the temperature value too much from the system standard, the lamp will
turn off automatically.
Reconnection can only be made by authorized dealers.

5 Change the Lamp
For a hassle free change of the Light bulb, it is absolutely necessary to follow all
descriptions in this chapter step by step.
5.1 Safety Rules
•Unplug AC power connection
•Allow to cool (over 15 minutes)
•Don’t touch lamp with bare fingers.
•Close the

Nbefore you connect the AC power!
5.2 How to change the lamp
Please also look at drawing 1-1.
1. Unscrew knurled screws on the Head cover
2. Remove Head Cover and put it aside
3. Remove Lamp carefully from its holder and disconnect lamp socket
4. Mount new lamp and close case using step 1-3 in reverse order
Attention: Make sure that the lamp and the connectors fit in the right
position and place !!!

6 Maintenance the

The cleaning of the inner optical System, color filters and color correction filter should
be done by qualified person only! Contact your local GLP Dealer for details.
Use no strong detergents, acid etc. for cleaning the case.
6.1 Optical System

optical system and the mirror with a moistened cloth
and a little cleaner.
Remove the Lens holder to clean the lens
ATTENTION: Let everything dry carefully before connect AC Power !!!
6.2 Cleaning the Fan
It is necessary to clean the fan openings, air channels and fan gratings on a
regular base (depending on the local environment).

continuously flow of air into the base fan opening !!!
