Installation Instructions
1. Lift seat bottom into the upright position. Pull on the strap to
release the seat and then lift it. To lift the seat you may need
to give it a small push down on the cushion.
2. Install latch mechanism to seat base brackets. See Figure 1.
Unscrew the oval backing plate from latch mechanism. Align
the oval guide on the latch mechanism to the oval hole in the
inside of the seat bracket. Screw the oval backing plate onto
the latch mechanism on the outside of the seat bracket in the
vehicle. You may need to move the latch bracket forward to
get at the screws. The arm of the latch mechanism should be
to the front of the vehicle of the pin. Verify that the oval back 
ing plate aligns with the oval hole in the seat bracket.

Fit the divider to the truck. See Figure 2. Align the driver side
of the divider to the seat bracket then snap the passenger side
into place. The divider has tab s that will fit in the inside front
of the seat brackets when in place. See Figure 3. Install the
retention brackets with the bolts, washers and 3/8 inch nuts
provided. Use the 2 inch long bolts for the LH ( driver ) side and the
1-1/2 inch long bolts for the RH ( passenger ) side. Install the seat
retaining bracket to the LH (driv er ) side of the vehicle. See Fig
ure 4. A ttach to the inside of the divider using the top two
bolts. It will be between the divider and the nuts. Torque to 10 ft-lbs (13
Nm ).

4. Assemble the lock and cam to the passenger side of the di 
vider. See Figure 5. Fit lock cylinder through the hole on the
outside of the bracket and divider. Cylinder should be aligned
so that the key turns between the 3 o'clock (locked) position
and the 6 o'clock (unlocked) position when looking at the lock
from the inside of the seat with the key teeth up. Hold the
lock in place with a washer and nut. Tighten nut with 7/8 inch
wrench. Screw the cam into place using the 3/8 inch long bolt.
Cam should be aligned to the 3 o'clock position.

5. Fit and adjust link arm. See Figure 6. Rest the previously at 
tached latch mechanism against the pin in the seat bracket.
With cam in the 3 o'clock position, screw the end of the link
arm to the cam using the 5/8 inch long bolt. Be sure to include
the plastic washers and metal shaft to the screw holding the
link arm. The bolt needs to be loose enough to allow the plas 
tic washers to slide along the hole in the link arm.

6. Unlock the divider before lowering seat cushion. See Figure 7.
Cam will be in the 6 o'clock position.

7. Verify that the lock works once installed and that the seat will
lock into the down position. To lift the seat you may need to
give it a small push down again.
The jack and jack tools are located under the seat. It is recom 
mended that you lock the divider only when necessary to prevent
being locked out from the jack and jack tools. Always carry the
keys along with you.

Directives d ’ instalfation
1. Soulever la partie inferieure du siege et la mettre droite. Tirer
sur la sangle pour degager le siege, puis le soulever. Pour
soulever le siege, il peut etre necessaire d ’ enfoncer legerement
le coussin.
2. Poser le mecanisme de verrouillage aux supports situes a la base
du siege. Voir figure 1. Devisser la plaque d ’ appui ovale du
mecanisme de verrouillage. Aligner le guide ovale, sur le mecanisme
de verrouillage, avec le trou ovale, a I ’interieur du support de siege.
Visser la plaque d ’ appui ovale, sur le mecanisme de verrouillage,
sur la partie exterieure du support de siege dans le vehicule. II peut
etre necessaire d ’ avancer le support de verrou pour atteindre les
vis. Le bras du mecanisme de verrouillage doit etre situe a I ’ avant
du vehicule, devant la goupille. S ’ assurerque la plaque d ’ appui ovale
est alignee avec ,e trou ovale du support de siege.

3. Ajuster le separateur au camion. Voir figure 2. Aligner le cote
conducteur du separateur avec le support de siege, puis enclencher
le cote passager en place. Le separateur est pourvu d ’ une
languette qui s ’ insere dans la partie avant interieure des supports
de siege une fois en place. Voir figure 3. Poser les supports de
retenue a I ’aide des boulons, des rondelles et des ecrous de 3/4
po fournis. Utiliser les boulons d ’ une longueur de 2 po pour le cote
conducteur et les boulons de 1 1 / 2 po pour le cote passager. Poser
le support de retenue de siege sur l e cote conducteur du vehicule.
Voir figure 4. II se fixera a I ’ interieur du separateur a I ’ aide des deux
boulons superieurs. II logera entre le separateur et les ecrous.
Serrer a un couple de 13 N.m.

Almacenamiento debajo del asiento

Instrucciones de instalacion
1. Levante la parte inferior del asiento a la position recta. Jale de la
correa para liberar el asiento y luego levantelo. Para el Io, quiza
necesite empujar el cojin un poco hacia abajo.
2. Instale el mecanismo de pestillo en el soporte de la base del
asiento. Vea la Figura 1. Destornille la placa de respaldo ovalada
del mecanismo de pestillo. Alinee la guia ovalada del mecanismo
de pestillo con el orificio ovalado en el interior del soporte del
asiento. Atornille la placa de respaldo ovalada en el mecanismo
de pestillo, en la parte externa del soporte del asiento. Quiza
necesite mover el soporte del pestillo hacia adelante para I legar a
los tornillos. El brazo del mecanismo de pestillo debe quedar
delante del pasador. Verifique que la placa de respaldo ovalada
se alinee con el orificio ovalado del soporte del asiento.

3. Coloque el separador en el baul. Vea la Figura 2. Alinee el lado
izquierdo del separador (lado del conductor) con el soporte del
asiento; luego inserte en position el lado derecho del mismo (lado
del pasajero). El separador tiene una lengueta que, cuando el
mismo esta en su lugar, encaja dentro de la parte delantera de
los soportes de los asientos. Vea la Figura 3. Instale los soportes
de retention con los pernos, arandelas y tuercas de 3/8" provistos.
Utilice los pernos de 2" de largo para el lado del conductor, y los
de 1-1/2" para el lado del pasajero. Instale el soporte de retention
del asiento de, lado del conductor. Vea la Figura 4. Fije el soporte
dentro del separador con los dos pernos superiores. Ubiquelo entre
e, separador y las tuercas y aprietelo a 13 N*m.
