BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG

Nicht für den Einsatz in Deutschland geeignet, da der Niederdruckregler
nicht mit einer Überdruck-Sicherheitsabsperreinrichtung OPSO (SAV) bzw.
Überdrucksicherheitseinrichtung S2SR (ÜDS) ausgestattet ist!

HINWEIS
Bei Anwendungen im Freien muss das Produkt
so angeordnet oder geschützt werden,
dass kein Tropfwasser eindringen kann.
Wir empfehlen den Einbau unter einer Behälter-Schutzhaube bzw. in einen
Reglerschrank oder Schutzkasten.

FUNKTIONSBESCHREIBUNG
Das automatische Umschaltventil AUV-ND mit integriertem Niederdruckregler ist ein
Druckregelgerät mit automatischer Umschaltung für den Anschluss an Zweiflaschenanlagen,
im Weiteren AUV-ND genannt.
•bestehend aus: automatischem Umschaltventil, Niederdruckregler mit
Sicherheitsabblaseventil PRV, Drehknopf, Betriebs- und Reserveanzeige, Rückschlagventil
und Prüfanschluss.
•Das AUV-ND gewährleistet einen gleichmäßigen Ausgangsdruck von 29 mbar, 37 mbar
bzw. 50 mbar bei einem zulässigen Eingangsdruck von 0,6 bis 16 bar.
•Automatische Umschaltung auf die Gasflasche(n) der Reserveseite, sobald die
Gasflasche(n) der Betriebsseite leer ist (sind) mit gleichzeitiger Anzeige ROT auf der
integrierten Betriebs- und Reserveanzeige.
•Ein Gasflaschenwechsel ist ohne Betriebsunterbrechung möglich.
Die Entnahme erfolgt ausschließlich wechselseitig.
•Die im Eingangsstutzen eingebauten Rückschlagventile verhindern ungewollten Gasaustritt
beim Flaschenwechsel.
•Gleichmäßige Gasversorgung durch optimale Ausnutzung des Gasflascheninhaltes.

SICHERHEITSABBLASEVENTIL PRV
Das Sicherheitsabblaseventil PRV - Pressure Relief Valve, im Weiteren PRV genannt, ist eine
im Druckregelgerät eingebaute, selbsttätig wirkende Sicherheitseinrichtung mit begrenztem
Durchfluss, welches die angeschlossenen Verbraucher vor unzulässig hohem Druck schützt.
Entsteht auf der Ausgangsseite ein unzulässig hoher Druck z. B. durch hohe Temperaturen,
öffnet das PRV und bläst den Überdruck über die Atmungsöffnung ab. Nach dem Druckabbau
schließt das PRV selbsttätig. Es ist eine Verbindung ins Freie herzustellen, wenn ein
Druckregelgerät mit einem PRV in einem Gebäude, einer Umhausung oder einem anderen
möglicher Weise gefährdeten Bereich betrieben werden soll.
Das Druckregelgerät mit PRV ist auf dem Typschild mit „PRV“ gekennzeichnet.

MONTAGE
Vor der Montage ist das Produkt auf Transportschäden und Vollständigkeit zu prüfen.
Anwendungsbeispiel - Zweiflaschenanlage zum Betrieb mit Großflaschen
An einer Zweiflaschenanlage angeschlossenes automatisches Umschaltventil Typ AUV-ND
mit Option „elektronische Fernanzeige mit Netzteil“
Die MONTAGE ist von einem Fachbetrieb vorzunehmen!
Voraussetzung für ein einwandfreies Funktionieren der Anlage ist eine fachgerechte
Installation unter Beachtung der für Planung, Bau und Betrieb der Gesamtanlage gültigen
technischen Regeln.
ACHTUNG
Funktionsstörungen durch Rückstände!
Ordnungsgemäße Funktion ist nicht gewährleistet.
Sichtkontrolle auf eventuelle Metallspäne oder sonstige Rückstände in den
Anschlüssen vornehmen!
Metallspäne oder sonstige Rückstände durch Ausblasen unbedingt entfernen!
Werkzeug
Die Montage ist ausschließlich mit einem geeigneten Werkzeug vorzunehmen.
Bei Schraubverbindungen muss immer mit einem zweiten Schlüssel am
Anschlussstutzen gegen gehalten werden.
Ungeeignete Werkzeuge wie z. B. Zangen dürfen nicht verwendet werden!
ACHTUNG
Beschädigung des Produktes durch falsche Einbaurichtung!
Ordnungsgemäße Funktion ist nicht gewährleistet.
Einbaurichtung auf dem Gehäuse des Produktes beachten!

HINWEIS
Das automatische Umschaltventil
AUV-ND muss so montiert werden,
dass sich der Anschluss der
Schlauchleitunge(n) an
höchstmöglicher Position befinden,
zumindest oberhalb des
Gasflaschenventils.
HINWEIS
Zum Anschluss an die Gasflasche(n) müssen geeignete Hochdruck-
Schlauchleitung(en) mit Überwurfmutter M20 x 1,5 ÜM zum Anschluss an das AUV-
ND verwendet werden!
HINWEIS
Zur Absicherung von Schlauchleitungen bei gewerblichen Flüssiggasanlagen müssen
Schlauchbruchsicherungen (SBS) ab einer Schlauchlänge von 400 mm eingesetzt
werden.
ANSCHLÜSSE
Schraubverbindungen
WARNUNG
Explosions-, Brand- und Erstickungsgefahr durch Undichtheit der Anschlüsse!
Kann durch Verdrehen des Produktes zu Gasaustritt führen.
Produkt nach der Montage und beim Nachziehen der Anschlüsse nicht mehr
verdrehen!
Nachziehen von Anschlüssen nur in vollständig drucklosem Zustand!
HINWEIS
Die Dichtung an dem Eingangsanschluss (sofern vorgesehen) müssen bei erneuter
Montage gewechselt werden!
Darauf achten, dass die Dichtung richtig in der Fassung liegt und der Anschluss fest
angezogen ist.

ACHTUNG
Beschädigung des angeschlossenen Druckregelgerätes durch zu stark
auftretende Kräfte!
Kann zu undichten Verbindungen führen.
Befestigungen müssen so dimensioniert und mit dem Untergrund (Bauwerk)
verbunden sein, damit sie zum einen sicher halten und zum anderen die
auftretenden Kräfte sicher ableiten können.
Kräfte sollen nicht auf das Druckregelgerät wirken.
DICHTHEITSKONTROLLE
VORSICHT
Verbrennungs- oder Brandgefahr!
Schwere Hautverbrennungen oder Sachschaden.
Keine offenen Flammen zur Prüfung verwenden!
Dichtheitskontrolle vor Inbetriebnahme
Vor Inbetriebnahme sind die Anschlüsse des Produktes auf Dichtheit zu prüfen!
1. Alle Absperrarmaturen der angeschlossenen Verbraucher schließen.
2. Gasentnahmeventil oder Gasflaschenventil(e) langsam öffnen.
3. Alle Anschlüsse mit schaumbildenden Mitteln nach EN 14291 (z. B. Lecksuchspray,
Bestell-Nr. 02 601 00) einsprühen.
4. Dichtigkeit prüfen, indem auf Blasenbildung im schaumbildenden Mittel geachtet wird.
HINWEIS
Bilden sich weitere Blasen, müssen die Anschlüsse nachgezogen werden (siehe
MONTAGE). Falls sich die Undichtheiten nicht beseitigen lassen, darf das Produkt
nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.

Dichtheitskontrolle nach Gasflaschenwechsel
Bei jedem Gasflaschenwechsel und nach längerer Stillstandszeit, Flaschenanlage auf
Dichtheit prüfen:
1. Gasflaschenventil der Betriebsseite schließen.
2. Gasflaschenventil der Reserveseite öffnen.
3. Sichtanzeige des AUV-ND wechselt von GRÜN auf ROT = Reserve.
4. Geöffnetes Gasflaschenventil der Reserveseite schließen.
5. Verschraubung(en) der Schlauchleitung(en) am Gasflaschenventil und am AUV-ND mit
schaumbildenden Mitteln nach EN 14291 (z. B. Lecksuchspray, Bestell-Nr. 02 601 00)
einsprühen.
6. Dichtigkeit prüfen, indem auf Blasenbildung im schaumbildenden Mittel geachtet wird.
Prüfanschluss für Dichtprüfgerät
Im Rahmen der Druck- und Dichtheitsprüfung der Flüssiggasanlage kann am
Prüfanschluss ein Dichtprüfgerät angeschlossen werden.
1. Alle Absperrarmaturen der angeschlossenen Verbraucher
schließen.
2. Absperrventile öffnen.
3. Schraubkappe des Prüfanschlusses abschrauben,
Prüfschlauch der Prüfpumpe an den Prüfanschluss
anschließen.
4. Drehgriff am Prüfventil nach unten in „OFFEN“-Stellung
drehen.
5. Dichtigkeitsprüfung bei max. 150 mbar durchführen.
6. Nach erfolgter Prüfung den Drehgriff am Prüfventil
zurück in die „GESCHLOSSEN“-Stellung drehen.
7. Anschließend Prüfschlauch der Prüfpumpe entfernen,
Schraubkappe auf den Prüfanschluss schrauben.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Das Produkt ist nach MONTAGE und erfolgreicher DICHTHEITSKONTROLLE sofort
betriebsbereit.
Alle Absperrarmaturen der angeschlossenen Verbraucher müssen geschlossen sein.
1. Gasflasche(n) anschließen und die Schlauchverbindungen prüfen.
2. Gasflaschenventil(e) langsam öffnen.
3. Montage- und Bedienungsanleitung der angeschlossenen Verbraucher beachten!
HINWEIS
Bei zu schnellem Öffnen des Gasflaschenventil(s) kann es kurzzeitig zu einem
Druckanstieg kommen, der das Sicherheitsabblaseventil (PRV) ansprechen lässt.
HINWEIS
Bei zu großer oder dauerhafter Entnahme von Flüssiggas aus der Gasflasche(n) der
Betriebsseite, sinkt die Temperatur des Gases und dadurch der Gasflaschendruck
unter den erforderlichen Eingangsdruck des Druckregelgerätes. Zusätzlich wird nun
Flüssiggas aus der Gasflasche(n) der Reserveseite entnommen.
Die ordnungsgemäße Funktion der Flüssiggasanlage ist nicht mehr gewährleistet.
Die Gasflaschen von Betrieb- und Reserveseite können zur gleichen Zeit, aber
auch unterschiedlich entleert werden.

HINWEIS
Soll die Flaschenanlage während des Gasflaschenwechsels betrieben werden, muss
der offene Anschluss am AUV-ND mit der Verschlussmutter dicht verschlossen
werden.
HINWEIS
Das AUV-ND kann auch mit nur einer Gasflasche betrieben werden. Das im
Eingangsstutzen integrierte Rückschlagventil verhindert das Ausströmen von Gas aus
dem freien Anschluss. Beim Betrieb mit nur einer Gasflasche muss der freie
Anschluss am AUV-ND mittels der Verschlussmutter verschlossen werden.

Gasflaschenwechsel der Betriebsseite
1. Gasflaschenventil schließen.
2. Anschlüsse lösen.
3. Leere Gasflasche gegen volle Gasflasche tauschen und anschließen.
4. Gasflaschenventil öffnen.
5. Dichtheitskontrolle durchführen.
6. Volle Gasflasche steht als Reserve zur Verfügung.
ACHTUNG
Beschädigung des Produktes durch Bewegen der Gasflasche!
Mitgerissene Flüssigphase kann zu
überhöhtem Druckanstieg in der Flüssiggasanlage
und zur Beschädigung des Produktes oder der Flüssiggasanlage führen.
Während des Betriebs die Gasflasche nicht bewegen!
Option zur ortsunabhängigen elektronischen Fernanzeige
HINWEIS
Nur in Verbindung mit dem automatischem Umschaltventil AUV-ND.
Die Fernanzeige zeigt den Status der Gasflasche(n) der Betriebsseite an.
Montage des Fernanzeige-Gebers
Sechskant der Sichtanzeige mit dem
Innensechskant des Gebers abdrehen
und entfernen.
Anschluss des Gebers gerade auf die
Sichtanzeige aufstecken.
AUSTAUSCH
Um unter normalen Betriebsbedingungen die einwandfreie Funktion der Installation zu
gewährleisten, wird empfohlen die Einrichtung vor Ablauf von 10 Jahren nach dem
Herstellungsdatum auszuwechseln.
INSTANDSETZUNG
Führen die unter FEHLERBEHEBUNG genannten Maßnahmen nicht zur ordnungsgemäßen
Wieder-Inbetriebnahme und liegt kein Auslegungsfehler vor, muss das Produkt zur Prüfung
an den Hersteller gesandt werden. Bei unbefugten Eingriffen erlischt die Gewährleistung.
AUSSERBETRIEBNAHME
Gaszufuhr und dann Absperrarmaturen der angeschlossenen Verbraucher schließen.
Bei Nichtbenutzung der Flüssiggasanlage alle Ventile geschlossen halten.
HINWEIS
Alle freien Anschlüsse in den Zuleitungen der Flüssiggasanlage sind mit einem
geeigneten Verschluss dicht zu verschließen, um ausströmendes Gas zu vermeiden!

The product keeps the specified outlet pressure constant within defined limits regardless of
fluctuations in the inlet pressure and changes in flow and temperature.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
The automatic changeover valve (AUV-ND) with integrated low pressure regulator is a
pressure regulator with automatic changeover to connect to two-cylinder systems.
•Consisting of automatic changeover valve, low pressure regulator with
pressure relief valve (PRV), turning knob, operating and reserve display, non-return valve
and test connector
•The AUV-ND ensures an even outlet pressure of 29, 37 or 50 mbar with a permitted inlet
pressure of 0.6 to 16 bar.
•Automatic changeover to the spare gas cylinder(s) as soon as the gas cylinder(s) on the
operating side is/are empty with a simultaneous RED display on the integrated operation
and reserve display.
•The gas cylinder can be replaced without interrupting operation.
Only alternating withdrawal is possible.
•The non-return valves installed in the inlet nozzle prevent unintentional gas leaks when
changing the cylinders.
•Even gas supply through optimum use of the gas cylinder content.

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE PRV
The pressure relief valve (PRV) is an automatic safety device with limited flow that is installed
in the pressure regulator to protect connected devices against inadmissible high pressures. If
there is inadmissible high pressure at the outlet side, for example due to high temperatures,
the PRV opens and relieves the excess pressure through the breather. When the pressure
falls, the PRV closes again automatically.
A connection to the open air must be created if a pressure regulator with PRV is to be
operated indoors, inside housing or in any other areas that could be at risk.
"PRV" is marked on the type label of the pressure regulator.

ASSEMBLY
Before assembling, check that the product is complete and has not suffered any damage
during transport.
Application example - two-cylinder system for operation with large cylinders
An automatic changeover valve of type AUV-ND with the option “electronic remote display
with power supply” connected to a two-cylinder system
ASSEMBLY must be carried out by a specialised company.
Notice Tools
Install only with suitable tools. With screw connections always use a second spanner
to brace against the connection nozzle.
Do not use unsuitable tools, such as pliers.
For the system to function as intended it must be installed professionally in compliance with
the technical instructions applicable to the planning, construction and operation of the entire
system.
NOTICE
Malfunctions caused by residues.
Proper functioning is not guaranteed.
Visually check that there are no metal filings or residues in the connections.
It is important that metal filings or other residues are blown out.

must be installed so that the connection of
the hose(s) is at the highest possible
position, at least higher than the gas cylinder
valve.
NOTICE
Suitable high-pressure hose(s) with coupling nut M20 x 1.5 nut for assembly to the AUV-ND
must be used for connecting to gas cylinder(s)!
NOTICE
To protect hoses in commercial LPG systems, excess flow devices with hoses longer than
400 mm must be used.

WARNING
If connections leak, there is a danger of explosion, fire or suffocation.
Gas may escape if the product is turned.
Do not turn the product after it has been installed and the connections have been
tightened.
Tighten connections only when they are not pressurised.
NOTICE
If re-assembling, change the gaskets.
Make sure that the gaskets sit properly in the mounting and that the screws are
tightened.

CAUTION
Excessive force may damage the pressure regulator.
This can cause leaky connections.
Attachments must be dimensioned and connected with the base (construction) so
that this provides a secure hold on the one hand and enables forces to be
deflected safely on the other.
Forces should not affect the pressure regulator.
LEAK CHECK
CAUTION
Risk of burning or fire
Serious burns to the skin or damage to property.
Do not use an open flame to check for leaks.
Before start-up, check the product connections for leaks.
1. Close all shut-off fittings on the gas appliance.
2. Slowly open the withdrawal valve or the gas cylinder valve.
3. Spray all connections with a foam producing substance according to EN 14291
(e.g. leak spray, Part no. 02 601 00).
4. Bubbles will form in the foam producing substance if there are any leaks.
NOTICE
If more bubbles form, re-tighten the connections (see ASSEMBLY). If you cannot stop
the leaks, you must not use the product.

Leak check after changing the gas cylinder
Check for leaks every time you replace a gas cylinder or if the system has not been used for
some time.
1. Close the cylinder valve on the operating side.
2. Open the cylinder valve on the spare side.
3. The AUV-ND indictor changes from GREEN to RED = spare.
4. Close the open gas cylinder valve on the spare side.
5. Spray the screw connection(s) on the gas cylinder valve and on the AUV-ND with
a foam producing substance according to EN 14291 (e.g. leak detector spray,
part no. 02 601 00).
6. Bubbles will form in the foam-producing substance if there are any leaks.
Test connection for leak tester
A leak tester can be connected to the test connector for pressure and leak tests of the LPG
system.
1. Close all shut-off fittings on the connected devices.
2. Open shut-off valves.
3. Unscrew the cap from the test connector ,
use the test hose to connect the test pump to the test
connector .
4. Turn the twist grip at the check valve downwards
to “OPEN”-position.
5. Check for leaks with a max. of 150 mbar.
6. When the test has been completed successfully,
turn the twist grip at the check valve back to
“CLOUSED”-position.
7. Then remove test hose of the test pump, screw the cap
back onto the test connector .
START-UP
After the product has been assembled and the LEAK CHECK has been carried out
successfully, it is immediately ready for operation.
All shut-off fittings on the connected devices must be closed.
1. Connect the gas cylinder(s) and check the hoses.
2. Slowly open the gas cylinder valve(s).
3. Observe the assembly and operating instructions of the connected devices.
NOTICE
If you open the gas cylinder valves too quickly, this may result in a short-term pressure
increase, which causes the pressure relief valve PRV to respond.
NOTICE
If LPG is withdrawn too quickly or is continuously withdrawn from the cylinder on the
operating side, the temperature of the gas falls and, as a result, the cylinder pressure
drops below the required inlet pressure of the regulator. LPG is then also withdrawn
from the spare cylinder.
Proper operation of the system is no longer guaranteed.
The LPG cylinders on both sides may be emptied simultaneously or also at
different rates.
The dimensioning and design of the cylinder system (choice of excess flow valve,
nominal flow rate, nominal width, etc.) must comply with TRF 2012.

NOTICE
If the cylinder system is to be operated while a cylinder is being replaced, the open
connection on the AUV-ND must be closed tightly with a sealing nut .
NOTICE
The AUV-ND can also be operated with just one gas cylinder. The non-return valve integrated
into the inlet nozzle prevents gas from flowing out of the free connection. During operation
with just one gas cylinder, the free connection on the AUV-
ND must be closed with the sealing
nut.
Move the arrow for the withdrawal direction on the turning knob to the direction of the
connected cylinder.

Cylinder replacement on the operating side
1. Close the cylinder valve
2. Loosen the connections
3. Replace the empty cylinder with a full one and connect the full one
4. Open the cylinder valve
5. Check for leaks
6. The full cylinder is available as a spare
CAUTION
The product can be damaged if the gas cylinder is moved.
Entrained liquid phase can cause the pressure to increase in the LPG system and
damage the product or the LPG system.
Do not move the cylinder while the system is in operation.
Remote display sensor for electronic remote display
NOTICE Only in combination with automatic changeover device of type AUV.
The remote display shows the status of the gas cylinder(s) on the operating side.
Installing the remote display sensor
Use the hexagon socket on the sensor
to unscrew and remove the hex nut
for the visual indicator .
Place the sensor connection straight
on the visual indicator .
REPLACEMENT
The automatic changeover valve has a service life of about 10 years; we recommend that you
replace the automatic changeover valve before 10 years from the date of manufacture.
REPAIRS
If the measures explained above under TROUBLESHOOTING do not result in regular
START-UP, and if there is no dimensioning problem, the product must be sent to the
manufacturer for a check. Our warranty does not apply in cases of unauthorised interference.
SHUT-DOWN
Close the cylinder valve and then the shut-off devices of the connected devices. When the
system is not in use, all valves must remain closed.
NOTICE Close all free connections in the feed lines of the LPG system tightly with a
suitable cap to prevent gas flowing out.
DISPOSAL
To protect the environment, our products may not be disposed of along with
household waste.
The product must be disposed of via a local collection station or a recycling station.
